“The Halloumi Cheese Pita and/or Plates with Charred Eggplant and Garlic Skordalia spreads are my favorites. I especially love the Charred Eggplant spread as it’s extremely tasty and unique. I don’t recommend getting meat as the protein as it’s usually pretty dry.

The Zucchini Chips are also my go-to side dish.

The Loukomades (Greek donuts) are good, but nothing special.

It’s a bit hard to navigate in the Newbury location when it’s crowded as it’s so small“

“Best Mediterranean food I've had in decades. Everything was delicious. Couldn't be better. I had the kofra kebab plate, ground beef with lamb, rolled and fried, salad, hummus, garlic sauce and tabouli. Look it up. I'm probably not touching it all the great aspects of it. Every part of it was exceptional, full of freshness and taste, each part distinctive in taste and presentation from another part. Not the usual commodification of Mediterranean food present in most imitative restaurants. So many spots are predictable, bland, food feeling like it sat around waiting to be served and unremarkable in every way. Not here. A full size salad, bright, light tastes with just the right amount of a delicate dressing. Not just the typical hunks of greens and ingredients thrown together with no soul and doused in some soybean oil based imitation.It was not the thick flour pita pocket that despite rips apart when you try to lightly stuff it with your salad or grape leaves or tabouli, despite being the thickness of baseball glove leather. This pita pocket was as thin as it could be, not the chewy baseball glove we usually get, yet completely resilient. It held everything I stuffed into it.“

“I did not think they had the biggest selection but it was good and love the strawberry lemonade refresher with boba. And it was also a bit pricey. I liked the atmosphere and it was really clean and a pretty nice building and it’s around a good area with a bus stop right outside. I recommend building your own poke bowl and getting a drink because they are all good. Also the vegetables are very fresh.

“We have been going to Uchi since the opening week, and the food and service have only improved over time. We get takeout most weeks, and have enjoyed every item we've ordered, from various appetizers (we love the shrimp shumai) to entrees of sushi, ramen, fried rice, etc., to the fried ice cream dessert. “A new Thai place in Easton got me very excited! The food was amazing. My favorite were papaya salad, crispy chicken with fried rice. The staff were friendly, they can customize the dish to your liking. I told my friend about Thai Thai and she tried them also.We agreed that the noodles should be cut short. We’re used to eating long noodles such as pad Thai or vermicelli. Both of our noodle dishes had short noodles. I’d suggest you ask them to leave the noodles before ordering. Other than that everything has very good flavoring!!“

Service was so friendly and my son had a service dog so there were nice outside picnic tables and we had a wonderful peaceful lunch !“

“We recently stayed in Newton for a mini vacation from Canada (visiting Boston). Every night of our stay we ate at this restaurant. I know, not overly adventurous but when the food is this good and the atmosphere is right, why bother looking? You won’t find better! We tried: - Pan seared chicken: AMAZING. - Fish and chips: when you live on the east coast it’s hard to get good fish and chips but these hit the mark! - Filet Mignon: Full of flavour and tender. - Steak Tips: Again, tender and full of flavour. - Risotto: Wonderfully strong mushroom flavour but yet offset with a field of flavours. - Scallops: Seared to perfection. - Short-rib Meatballs: Meat and cheese combo to die for. - Calamari: Another difficult one to get right and find fresh! This was one of my favourite with the dip and hot peppers. - Sirloin: Cooked to perfection, flavour was a hit and a good portion size, well worth the money. THE HOUSE SALAD: All I can say, EMAIL ME THE RECIPE FOR THE DRESSING!! This was the best item for me on the menu. Fresh, simple and full of flavour. I got it with every meal. So to recap: 10/10“

“Awesome service, beer selection, atmosphere and live music. Does fall short for game night with their outdated televisions with a weird blue hue. I do not recommend for watching sports sometimes same game on different channels with game disappointing lag (TNT and Nesn for bruins for example where you cant see all TVs at once. Great wings ..but missing appetizer staples like nachos..limited menu..good pizza and burgers...awesome staff and bartenders“
