Colette Bakery in Melrose has some of the best pastries around! I’m a sucker for chocolate croissants, and the Cho-colette croissant at Colette is so delicious (pro tip, take the croissant home and toss in the air fryer to warm the pastry!)

I highly recommend them for specialty cakes or cookies, as I feel they can do anything you want perfectly! If you like caramel delights, that is the best cupcake I’ve ever had! The cakes I’ve ordered from there are always moist, and delicious. The staff is so friendly as well! I got over 100 cookies made by them for my wedding for my seating chart and everyone raved about them! I just got my rainbow birthday cake from there and it’s sooooo cool! I highly recommend!“

Today, I stopped at Jon Ryan’s Pubs in Tewksbury, and had what I think is the BEST Wedge salad I can remember having since the dinner I had with my wife the night she said yes to marry me, back in 2001! “I cannot say enough about Romano’s Pizza! We originally had inquired about this party to another pizza place and less than 2 weeks before they said they could not do it. We messaged Romano’s and reached out to Paul and they were able to have our small event. We had a graduation party for about 16 people. They allowed us to decorate how we needed, we set up the tables how we liked and cleaned up after ourselves. Pizzas came out in a staggering pace so they where nice and hot! Food was amazing, staff was amazing and you cannot beat their prices on food. I will definitely be ordering food from there more often and consider them for any other small events. “We had the best lunch catered by La Qchara last Saturday for a group of friends from 4 countries (including Colombia and Venezuela). Everyone loved the food, particularly our friends from Colombia and Venezuela. They said the food was fantastic! Emily was so nice when she delivered the food, and it was right on time. “An offshoot of the late, great Jose's Mexican restaurant in Cambridge. Many of the selections are the same. We came specifically for the pozole, a chicken and homily corn soup. A large bowl was loaded with big kernels of corn and plenty of chicken. A friend who was born and raised in Mexico said Jose's pozole is top notch. Quality and quantity make for good value. We easily found parking on the street at no cost for 2 hours. Service was fast and friendly. They plan to expand inside and out so seating will increase. They're also getting a liquor license.

My fiancé was diagnosed with celiac 15 years ago and she said it’s the best pancake she’s had since she was diagnosed. We also got iced coffees, both were delicious. The sweets we brought home all look and taste amazing. Very allergen friendly.“

“I visited the North Andover location on Father’s Day and it was packed. I was able to get a seat at the bar as I was by myself and within a few minutes the few seats left were full. The bartender greeted me promptly giving me time with the menu. I forget which mimosa I ordered but it was tasty. I got the egg rolls (not pictured because I devoured them) and the everything bagel aoli on there is literally everything. So good I’ll be ordering them again for sure! I also got the breakfast burrito and I believe I added chorizo and side of bacon. The only reason I didn’t finish it was because the portions are so generous! The manager was hard at work and visible throughout my visit helping her team. I don’t typically venture away from the eggs Benedict but I’m still thinking about this meal 2 weeks later so I wanted to write a review!“

“I picked up a food delivery job just before the covid lockdown (great timing since I worked in retail..), and they have to be doing something right as I prob get more orders from them than almost any other place. And they've always got the pick-up/delivery orders running on time and on point! Not a single customer complaint (and their customers tip drivers accordingly, considering were gassing up our cars to deliver to people in the middle of a worldwide viral pandemic). Love doing pickups here! Great staff, clearly awesome menu! While you can't currently dine in, please order take out/delivery/buy gift certificates to help them get thru this!“

Shrimp fried rice some of the best I ve had. Prompt service but dotting over us a bit too much ...maybe waiter wanted to turn over table at NYE but I felt rushed at times. Very attentive otherwise.“
