“Decided to go out for dinner with a few friends and it was delicious. I liked the citrus dressing on the avocado salad. The filet mignon was tender and flavorful. For dessert, green tea ice cream is a must!“

“Decided to walk through Allston on a grody, misty afternoon and look for some food. Walked in by chance and at my SO’s insistence that we give it a look. I loved everything about the aesthetic, and enjoyed the soft music playing in the background. Being able to choose the ingredients I wanted - knowing they were organic and that they looked more than delicious raw...that was the absolute best part. The gentleman at the front was supremely helpful and answered any question thrown at him - by anyone in the shop. The price was more than worth the amount of food received, and the care extended to us as guests was wonderful. I absolutely would recommend anyone to give this a try. Don’t hesitate to ask a question, you will definitely get an answer. :)“

“We stopped in just before 5pm on a Saturday and thankfully we did because the place got busy quickly. There was plenty of staff working to handle the night. One of us ordered a 2 meat tray with brisket & pork belly. The chosen sides were basement potato salad and Mac & cheese. The other ordered a pulled pork tray. Sides were coleslaw and Mac & cheese. Both had sweet tea and shared a bucket of biscuits w honey butter. The best part was the pulled pork. It was wicked moist and flavorful. I feel the brisket was a bit dry, but there are 3 sauces on the side. We loved the biscuits with honey butter and the Mac & cheese was good. Our meal came to about $77, before tip. The staff are mostly efficient but our waiter could have been better. He didn't ask what we wanted to drink when he greeted us, he wasn't very personable in comparison to another waiter who gave very detailed descriptions of the specials when speaking to a table next to us. We asked for a sweet tea refill and didn't get it. Seemed sporadic, but not new. We'd go back though to try it again.“

“The food was very good and the prices very reasonable. We had a nice small room for a 40th birthday party.. Hostess and someone answering the phones were sooo accommodating…..However the service was good but the comments from our server, Stephanie were definitely uncalled for. I was asked what I wanted to drink and explained what was in it, so it wouldn’t come out wrong…. I was told I was particular!?! Then my son asked a question and she said to him, “Didn’t you hear me tell the other end of the table the same thing”!?!? Then I held my hand out so that I could take the bill and not let my daughter, the birthday girl pay, and she said “well aren’t you bossy” !!! SERIOUSLY SO uncalled for. And I even tipped her more than 20% because we got everything in a timely manner.“

“Food: the options for the grill were great, it was hard to understand at first but when you figure it out you can make pretty good food, it was tough to find some sauces due to the lack of labels
Service: the server did decent service, nothing bad but nothing notable
Atmosphere: the building was clean and presentable, there weren't food labels on a couple of items so it was difficult to know what you were eating if you haven't seen a lot of Korean food before“

“Went in this evening with family and friends. The food was absolutely delicious. I enjoyed steak tips with rice and it was impeccable. The service was outstanding, the atmosphere has changed a lot (same great vibes) which I love. Charlie is such a kind and caring human. He’s always been a love! “Friendship BBQ is a Chinese skewer restaurant located right outside of Packard's Corner.
Staff are friendly and explain the process well. They're very knowledgeable on recommendations and can help whenever needed.
The food is good. We got a wide variety of skewers, as well as a few appetizers. The skewers were flavorful, not too gamey but of a good and consistent quality. The price is a bit high for the portions they give, but not too outrageous.“

“Oh my god, this place is so good. It totally hit the mark when I was craving Korean BBQ. For $40 per person, you can eat as much Korean BBQ as you want. Not only pork, but chicken and beef too, and all the side dishes are excellent. I couldn’t believe how good the kimchi stew and egg soufflé were.
I am pretty sure the place is run by Chinese owners, so you cannot really expect ssamjang, but for this price point it is about as good as an all you can eat Korean BBQ place can get. Even though it is AYCE, the food quality is still very solid and I honestly do not know how they make a profit with how generous the portions are.
Loved it and I am honestly considering signing up for the membership. Will definitely come back again. But beware there will be a long line. We waited about 40 minutes starting around 8 p.m. on a Friday.“

“first time eating at K-Town after work in a Friday, absolutely amazing food, everything I expected it was. good food, amazing music (BTS!!!!!!), absolutely amazingly polite, helpful, personable staff, huge variety of meat and seafood to BBQ. the service is impeccable, the served really care about the experience you have. every single server came by to help us, talk with us, and check on us. Pastrami is so good! Huge portions. The large waffle fry could feed you for days.

“I love their dry pot - the portions are great and spicy. I also really enjoy the fish dishes cold noodles appetizer. The dishes are generally not super spicy (doesn't give you that numbing feeling especially if you have a high tolerance to spice) but it does pack a punch and it's flavorful.
Service is good and you order using an online menu/scanning a QR code. The interior is nice now that they renovated the interior!“

“The wings were very good. We split a large order between hot and the famous. Hit had a good kick and famous had a nice sweetness from agave syrup. The brisket was melt in your mouth. Burnt ends were tender. Both very good. The 2 potato salad side was different but ok. Sweet potato and white potato. Corn bread was firm and mac n cheese decent enough. Fries left alot to be desired. Service was great and bartender made a solid margarita. Was a great dinner stop before a local comedy show.“
