“Went out for a birthday celebration, the food was good but the service was borderline negligent. The staff had ordered take out and were eating in the kitchen. We could have walked out without paying the bill and I doubt it would have been noticed. We had to find a server to order dessert and coffee and had to hunt down a server again to pay the bill. No tip for a $45.00 dollar meal. Won’t be going back.“

“Comfortable area and great atmosphere“

“My wife and I came up to visit Winnipeg from the US state of Iowa about a month ago to support our kind Canadian neighbours. This was our first time at a Tim Hortons. The coffee and assorted Timbits were good, the service was quick, and the atmosphere was comfortable. They had couches to relax on, and I was able to charge my phone. I really appreciated the cozy environment here. Our nearby hotel had a planned power outage for maintenance that they didn't bother telling us about other than us noticing a sign at the check in desk when we arrived. The power outage also went on for more than an hour beyond what we were told. Fortunately, I was able to get a discount on my hotel stay. And thanks to Tim Hortons, I was able to relax with some coffee and Timbits, charge my phone in a building with functioning electricity, and experience some Canadian hospitality!“

“I've been looking for good Vietnamese iced coffee and this place is it! I had the salted iced version it was so good! It's also inside Pronuts (also so good!) so you can grab both at one stop! The actual shop is super cute and the staff were super friendly.“

“When I am in the area I often stop in and grab a coffee. On every occasion I have received excellent service. The staff are always busy but still take time to interact. I have never had to wait too long to be served or for my coffee to be made.

“I recently visited Dapper Doughnuts, located on the 2nd floor of Polo Park Mall. Their stand , with its neat and organized setup, offers a cozy spot with a few tables and chairs. I ordered the 6-pack mini cute doughnuts for CAD 7.70, which seemed quite reasonable. The staff recommended their best seller, the Reese’s cookie dough doughnut, and it was fantastic—I loved it. The other five flavors were enjoyable as well. The doughnuts have a cakey texture wt a unique twist from the typical doughnut taste and feel. It’s nice to eat it once in a while.“

“I was deeply disturbed by an interaction I saw in between a customer and a worker at this location on August 28, 2025. I can see here that they left a 1 star review so I’m posting this to counteract his scathing (and crazy) review. I’ll let you find out yourself who it might be.

Anyways, It’s a shame that people think that they can yell at people literally working at a Starbucks.

I witnessed a customer today yelling profanities and having tantrum, like a big baby on the patio. I appreciated that the staff here stood up for themselves and didn’t let a man baby bully them. I hope that the largely insecure man (who, by the way did this in front of his children - they looked pretty mortified) looks into the mirror when he gets home and feels nothing but embarrassment and shame for his behavior. Apparently he feels embarrassed anyways, rightfully so.

“Very cool store with a ton of variety - a real デパート in Canada. Allowed me to reminisce and seek out things I missed from living there. Recommend Calpico of any flavour to those that want to try a unique drink. (Original is my favorite.)“

“I really like Starbucks — their service is always great. One day, my boyfriend and I went there and maybe we ran into a new staff member, because they got our drinks mixed up. We had to change our drinks three times in total (we felt sorry about it too, but still hoped to get what we ordered). The staff was very friendly and handled the situation so well, which made us feel less awkward. By the way, their breakfast is also really delicious!“

“Give the lady with short red hair who was working the drivethru this morning a promotion! She was so sweet and friendly. I have not had good service at any Tim Hortons in what feels like years. “This the worst Tim Hortons I have ever been to. The staff and service are the worst. They seem to be at work as play time instead of looking after customers. The biggest problem is I have to ask for a napkin with my donut. They put two donuts in the same small bag which now the icing is going on the other donut. I asked for two separate bags and I got attitude from the worker. I am the customer and feel I was treated badly. The Manager and Owner needs to train the night crew big time. They need to treat customers with respect. The atmosphere now sucks because the place is dirty and the attitude of staff makes even the service a terrible experience. From now on I will go to Grace Hospital Tim Hortons closer to home and treated like a customer. Maybe even go to McDonald's Restaurant and still treated like a customer with a smile. This place is NOT CUSTOMER FRIENDLY.Went to Tim's twice in the last week. The big thing is the pizza. The first thing is that the Pepperoni pizza is absolutely great. Second visit we had bacon everything pizza. Both are very good. The next visit we will try the three cheese simple. Tim's prices are great and you don't feel sick because of the dough. Tim's pizza is flatbread. We will be back for this pizza.“
