“The food here was great! But the best part was being served by the manager, Scott, who was terrific. I took my relatives visiting from the US here for brunch, and they were all impressed with the quality and flavor of food as well as Scott's attentiveness to to our table. Will definitely be back with more guests!“

“I literally only go here so I can practice my french, and they help me - free of charge! BUT that being said, their laté is AMAZING. The people there are soo friendly and helpful (French and non french speakers). Also, they have started a coffee reward system. Buy 10 coffees and get one free. (As a Winnipegger that makes me happy) I'm not great at reviewing things, so just go there. You will not be disappointed.“

“Everytime I go here, the people are super nice. I've only been a few times and yet they already know what I'm typically ordering. It likely helps that I just get one thing, but still. That feels special to me.
The food is really good and fairly priced. The drinks are amazing and the staff are nice and fun people.
I definitely recommend this place to my friends and any one reading this review. It's in a really nice spot too in my opinion.“

“I just had the best aids Benedict I've ever had in my life. The bacon was thick and done to perfection. We are definitely coming back again and I will probably have the eggs benedict again. The Mimosa did not go lightly on the Prosecco. I got a little buzz which was perfect.“

“Sam’s place is extremely welcoming and warm as a cafe. The staff recognize you especially if you’re a regular! The coffee tastes great and the bagel with herb and garlic cream cheese is amazing. I love the addition of them feature local, handmade items to sell! The stickers are my favourite things to check every time I see they get new ones! The baristas are such friendly, amazing people who go above and their role to make sure you feel welcome in their cafe.“

“A must stop should you be passing through the park. The food is amazing and fairly well priced for this day and age. The patio is 5/5 stars. I highly reccomend you sit outside as the inside gets quite packed and noisy, and really, if you're at Assiniboine park it's to enjoy the weather and nature.“

“I went to to Harrison’s for the first time while out on a nice walk with my friend and her dog. We had wanted to stop for a coffee and noticed the little shop on Waterfront. Not only was the Coffee great but they were a pet friendly establishment and provided water outside for them to have a drink as well. I’m a forever customer now.“

“Came for a work dinner event and they were able to accommodate our team of 20! Service was still timely and the food was DELICIOUS. Highly recommend the chicken and chorizo pasta. Great atmosphere and info about the original purpose of the building before it became a restaurant.“

“I passed an absolutely wonderful night at Stella’s with my friends for a simple night out. It was really a spur of the moment thing but this restaurant ended up exceeding my expectations!! Our lovely waitress, Tyesha, was hilarious, kind and so so welcoming. She had our whole table laughing 😂!! The food was tasty, filling and looked nice too! This is probably one of my new favourite spots in the city - I’ll be coming back soon enough!“
“I've been coming here for 30+ years. Compared to some places the prices are a bit steep, but the food is good, really good. One of the best places to eat in general on Campus. I know that's not saying much these days, but it is still a nice place serving good food“

“Had an excellent first time experience here for brunch. The food was delicious, atmosphere cozy and beautiful, and our server was one of the most personable and diligent servers I’ve ever had. I wish I could remember his name, but it was the gentleman who told us that the chai tea recipes was his mother’s. He should be training all of the servers here, he really made our experience delightful. Will definitely be back again and again.“

“It's a small menu but what we had was fantastic.We went for breakfast. I got pancakes with bacon (and real maple syrup). My partner got the Traditional Breakfast medium fried eggs (perfect), toast and the most amazing sausage.Service was friendly, and prices are reasonable.“

“This is located at the University of Manitoba. It is an older "restaurant" located in the Fletcher Argue building, near the tunnels and across from the newly renovated Faculty of Arts offices, on the main floor of Fletcher Argue. The Greenhouse Cafe has ample place to sit. Many people use it as a study area. The food at the Greenhouse cafe is not bad..they offer freshly made individual pizza, yummy soup--try their brocolli cheddar soup, in addition to sandwiches, drinks, snacks, etc. The price is a little high but you pay for convenience. The staff is very friendly and they get to know their regulars.“
