“A lovely little shop filled with gourmet food items alongside unique and whimsical gifts. They sell a variety of housemade soups, salads, and baked goods where everything is clearly indicated whether it is GF or vegan. My personal favourite of theirs is their homemade ice-cream, which is all coconut-based. The Thai-Phoon flavour is an incredible mix of ginger, lemongrass, and coconut and I have never tasted anything remotely close to this flavour profile.
The shop may be small, but it is packed with all sorts of goodies and dog-friendly which is a huge plus.“

For drinks I chose the Peach Oolong wolsely kombucha (9/10) and my partner got the Ube Lavender Latte (10/10). For starters, we got the half strawberry rhubarb salad (10/10) and the cup of tomato bisque (11/10). For mains we got the Prosciutto and asparagus crepes (9/10) and Salmon Latke (8/10). We ended our meal with a Pavlova (11/10). The music was incredible with a variety of taste from Jordan Rakei to Jelani Aryeh. “Gluten free scones !!! Three options and I had the cheddar scallion scone. Most delicious. Coffee & latte were excellent. First impressions of early am visit was spacious, clean and thoughtful gifts items. Workers were cheerful, knowledgeable and quick. Several spaces to sit and work. Background music was pleasant - not too loud. “A place to belong” is their motto. Tips are used to support /encourage young people in a safe environment. I’m just a tourist - but I’d come here every day if I could.“

“A must stop should you be passing through the park. The food is amazing and fairly well priced for this day and age. The patio is 5/5 stars. I highly reccomend you sit outside as the inside gets quite packed and noisy, and really, if you're at Assiniboine park it's to enjoy the weather and nature.“

“This is located at the University of Manitoba. It is an older "restaurant" located in the Fletcher Argue building, near the tunnels and across from the newly renovated Faculty of Arts offices, on the main floor of Fletcher Argue. The Greenhouse Cafe has ample place to sit. Many people use it as a study area. The food at the Greenhouse cafe is not bad..they offer freshly made individual pizza, yummy soup--try their brocolli cheddar soup, in addition to sandwiches, drinks, snacks, etc. The price is a little high but you pay for convenience. The staff is very friendly and they get to know their regulars.“

“I went to to Harrison’s for the first time while out on a nice walk with my friend and her dog. We had wanted to stop for a coffee and noticed the little shop on Waterfront. Not only was the Coffee great but they were a pet friendly establishment and provided water outside for them to have a drink as well. I’m a forever customer now.“
