“Authentic Vietnamese experience with a very entertaining host who genuinely sits down with guests with a broad smile and a joyful heart.

The food is great, which does not cost an arm or a leg. Haven't gone to any other establishments eversince i got a taste of what they had to offer. Brought along some of my friends as well, who had the same satisfying feeling. I don't think I would ever go elsewhere as the benchmark has now been set very high.

“I have ordered here several times and have always had a great meal, reasonably priced and generous portions.

But the real compliment is on their service. When ordering, I asked if there was any shrimp in the fried rice as there was a shellfish allergy in our group. The answer was no.

But an hour before pickup we get a call warning us that there was shrimp in the Singapore Vermicelli (which I always order and am aware that it contains shrimp,) and is excellent BTW.)

“ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! I was looking for a noodle place today and stumbled upon here. I got the zhaijang mein, my boyfriend got the deluxe beef noodle soup and we both shared the steamed pork dumplings. Everything was top notch so so delicious!! The noodles were so chewy and bouncy and the flavours of everything was amazing. The interior is very nice and calming, and the staff are so kind. The man helping us was very sweet. Not to mention, the prices were very reasonable. We would definitely come again!“

However, it is a bargain at $7.80! Not a huge jump from $5 about 20 years ago. Next time we will add extra shrimp kow (used to be 4 in the beginner plate, but is 2 now).“

“Food has always been excellent from this place. If you want to dine-in, you have to get reservations. We tried a couple times but there's no table available. Parking can also be a challenge but otherwise the quality of the food more than makes up for the inconvenience.“

I told them we have to order it every time we are in the city. Wish they had frozen options to take home for other days as we live more than 3 hours away.“

“Has been my go-to Chinese food place for years and I can’t see myself going anywhere else unless they close. Great portion sizes for what you pay for. You can get $70 worth of food and it’ll be plenty enough for 6+ people or it’ll last 1-2 people for days. They do offer combinations dishes for $10-15 if you don’t want to get a lot though.

It’s good quality and good tasting dishes too. They also offer a discount if you pay with cash(10% off $50+) and you get a free dish when you spend a certain amount.

There are tables inside however, the way the interior is set up, it’s more for takeout.“

“I liked their Cantonese fried rice. I’d buy 3 orders every week. Recently they raised the price and the container is now 2/3 full. The next time. They started to cut the pork so fine you can barely see it and absolutely not taste. Someone forgot to put in the salt. That’s two times in a row bad experience after buying from them for over 25 years. If they don’t return to right portions and tasty foods I’ll no longer buy from them.“

“A large koi aquarium greets you and there is lots of seating options. We went for the lunch buffet. They had a good selection, including meat dishes, veggie dishes and soup. The price was reasonable and service was quick. They took our plates as soon as we were done and made sure our drinks were full. they were replenishing the buffet often with fresh food and the even the chicken balls were crispy. Overall great bang for your buck, enough variety for everyone to find something they like and quick, fast and friendly service (especially if you are lucky enough to have Don serve you)“

“Amazingly delish food! We had chicken egg foo young( puffy delish), vermicelli noodle( massive shrimp inside) beautiful deep fried scallops hello baby! I highly recommend this place! I know the breaded veal is fantastic! You get what you pay for! Everything came pipping hot. This is the place to get Chinese food🤤“

“We had a good dining experience at Golden Loong, the hand pulled noodles have that nice chewy texture to it and the chilli oil adds that fragrant and a bit spicy kick to it, mapo tofu was also good though a tad salty when it was not as hot but perfect with rice, the lamb with pickled veggies in sour broth is perfect in this cold weather, pork bun would have been better if the pork was not so sloppy and the bun should be a bit more toasted on the bottom but otherwise good as well, cucumber in chilli oil is a perfect accompaniment to all of these as it cools down and refreshes the pallete.

“This is, by far, the best Chinese food restaurant in the city. I tried it 4 times (all dine in, service perfect, place clean and excellent food) and, the final test , was placing an order for my entire family for new year's eve (total of 170 CAD including taxes, was more than enough to satisfy 7 adults and 4 hungry teenagers). I placed the order for December 31st at 6 pm, I showed up on time and, even that the restaurant was packed at that time and they were all busy, my order was warm a ready to go. Everything was delicious and it made me look like a champion in my family's eyes. I've been living in Winnipeg for 5 years now and all this time I've tried many Chinese restaurants, this one is the best so far.“

“I work in Osborne next to Spicy Noodle House so I order semi-regularly. The hot and sour soup is my favourite, especially if I'm not feeling well. That soup will cure whatever ails you. I also tried the spicy beef chow mien most recently. The portion size was perfect, and they do not skimp on the meat or veggies :) The owners are really friendly too.

I'd recommend this place for anyone who wants some seriously satisfying comfort food in a hurry. Everything I order from here is served up hot, fresh, quick, and satisfying.

“Excellent! Never disappoints!!!! Just enjoyed a dinner we picked up from our favourite Chinese restaurant. Thank you. Dinner was ready minutes after 6pm. Our dishes were Peking Fried Rice, Shrimp in black bean sauce, Kung Pao Chicken as well as a Chop Suey dish. Always fresh, tasty and perfect.“
