“Authentic Vietnamese experience with a very entertaining host who genuinely sits down with guests with a broad smile and a joyful heart.

The food is great, which does not cost an arm or a leg. Haven't gone to any other establishments eversince i got a taste of what they had to offer. Brought along some of my friends as well, who had the same satisfying feeling. I don't think I would ever go elsewhere as the benchmark has now been set very high.

“Good bang for your buck! I got the Tokyo Beef Poutine and the fries were nice and crisp. I would come back again but take out only.
This is not a very good sit down place, the employees were surprised I was dinning in.
There is no music and the employee was playing some type of first person shooter on their phone. Loud gun shots from their speaker my entire dinning experience.
Don't come here if you have PTSD.

“I have ordered here several times and have always had a great meal, reasonably priced and generous portions.

But the real compliment is on their service. When ordering, I asked if there was any shrimp in the fried rice as there was a shellfish allergy in our group. The answer was no.

But an hour before pickup we get a call warning us that there was shrimp in the Singapore Vermicelli (which I always order and am aware that it contains shrimp,) and is excellent BTW.)

I got the zhaijang mein, my boyfriend got the deluxe beef noodle soup and we both shared the steamed pork dumplings. Everything was top notch so so delicious!! The noodles were so chewy and bouncy and the flavours of everything was amazing. The interior is very nice and calming, and the staff are so kind. The man helping us was very sweet. “Food has always been excellent from this place. If you want to dine-in, you have to get reservations. We tried a couple times but there's no table available. Parking can also be a challenge but otherwise the quality of the food more than makes up for the inconvenience.“

“I will never order Chinese anywhere else the food is always amazing, hot, and the portions are crazy. For the same money I’d spend on fast-food I can order here and have lunch for the next day or two. My family has been ordering for the past several years and I can’t remember ever having any issues, or dinners that weren’t fantastic.“

Showed up between the scheduled pick up time and when I went to the counter I noticed the girl had not even submitted my order to the back kitchen. She hastily ran my order to the kitchen. “I liked their Cantonese fried rice. I’d buy 3 orders every week. Recently they raised the price and the container is now 2/3 full. The next time. They started to cut the pork so fine you can barely see it and absolutely not taste. Someone forgot to put in the salt. “Has been my go-to Chinese food place for years and I can’t see myself going anywhere else unless they close. Great portion sizes for what you pay for. You can get $70 worth of food and it’ll be plenty enough for 6+ people or it’ll last 1-2 people for days. They do offer combinations dishes for $10-15 if you don’t want to get a lot though.

It’s good quality and good tasting dishes too. They also offer a discount if you pay with cash(10% off $50+) and you get a free dish when you spend a certain amount.

There are tables inside however, the way the interior is set up, it’s more for takeout.“

“Great place to go if you're in the mood for delicious, un-fussy food. Love the broth they use for their noodle soups, but I haven't had anything here that I did not like. During my last visit, there was a mix-up with my order pick up times but the host was very kind and apologetic. And the restaurant threw in a few extra goodies to make up for it. Their staff members are also lovely. Highly recommended.“

“A large koi aquarium greets you and there is lots of seating options. We went for the lunch buffet. They had a good selection, including meat dishes, veggie dishes and soup. The price was reasonable and service was quick. They took our plates as soon as we were done and made sure our drinks were full. they were replenishing the buffet often with fresh food and the even the chicken balls were crispy. Overall great bang for your buck, enough variety for everyone to find something they like and quick, fast and friendly service (especially if you are lucky enough to have Don serve you)“

“This is, by far, the best Chinese food restaurant in the city. I tried it 4 times (all dine in, service perfect, place clean and excellent food) and, the final test , was placing an order for my entire family for new year's eve (total of 170 CAD including taxes, was more than enough to satisfy 7 adults and 4 hungry teenagers). I placed the order for December 31st at 6 pm, I showed up on time and, even that the restaurant was packed at that time and they were all busy, my order was warm a ready to go. Everything was delicious and it made me look like a champion in my family's eyes. I've been living in Winnipeg for 5 years now and all this time I've tried many Chinese restaurants, this one is the best so far.“

“We had a good dining experience at Golden Loong, the hand pulled noodles have that nice chewy texture to it and the chilli oil adds that fragrant and a bit spicy kick to it, mapo tofu was also good though a tad salty when it was not as hot but perfect with rice, the lamb with pickled veggies in sour broth is perfect in this cold weather, pork bun would have been better if the pork was not so sloppy and the bun should be a bit more toasted on the bottom but otherwise good as well, cucumber in chilli oil is a perfect accompaniment to all of these as it cools down and refreshes the pallete.

This time as of Feb18 ordered online at the east lake website, and no short of excellent service . Ordered online ,and delivery to my door in twenty minutes. Food was excellent as in the past ,piping hot ,and delicious . Ordered dinner for one with veal ,and chicken balls. Also ordered some special chow main, shrimp egg foo ,and extra sweet sour sauce . “I work in Osborne next to Spicy Noodle House so I order semi-regularly. The hot and sour soup is my favourite, especially if I'm not feeling well. That soup will cure whatever ails you. I also tried the spicy beef chow mien most recently. The portion size was perfect, and they do not skimp on the meat or veggies :) The owners are really friendly too.

I'd recommend this place for anyone who wants some seriously satisfying comfort food in a hurry. Everything I order from here is served up hot, fresh, quick, and satisfying.
