“Authentic Vietnamese experience with a very entertaining host who genuinely sits down with guests with a broad smile and a joyful heart.

The food is great, which does not cost an arm or a leg. Haven't gone to any other establishments eversince i got a taste of what they had to offer. Brought along some of my friends as well, who had the same satisfying feeling. I don't think I would ever go elsewhere as the benchmark has now been set very high.

“Pretty cute small place. Inside has 4,5 tables. Seems like a family business to me. Their menu is vast. They offer Hong kong/ Taiwanese/ Chinese food along with munchies and snack in case you don't have a big appetite. They also serve brunch combo during 10am till noon. If you are tired of the same borning canadian chinese menus, this is the place for you to go for something different but not outside of your comfortable zone :)

A big bonus to the restaurant is they serve you hot tea when coming inside and refill it for you. The portion was a lot compared to the price you paid, and its quality is decent/above average. The lady is so nice that she offered to pack the food for us to take home, instead of giving u boxes and let u pack it urself in other restaurants

“I liked their Cantonese fried rice. I’d buy 3 orders every week. Recently they raised the price and the container is now 2/3 full. The next time. They started to cut the pork so fine you can barely see it and absolutely not taste. Someone forgot to put in the salt. That’s two times in a row bad experience after buying from them for over 25 years. If they don’t return to right portions and tasty foods I’ll no longer buy from them.“

“I work in Osborne next to Spicy Noodle House so I order semi-regularly. The hot and sour soup is my favourite, especially if I'm not feeling well. That soup will cure whatever ails you. I also tried the spicy beef chow mien most recently. The portion size was perfect, and they do not skimp on the meat or veggies :) The owners are really friendly too.

I'd recommend this place for anyone who wants some seriously satisfying comfort food in a hurry. Everything I order from here is served up hot, fresh, quick, and satisfying.

“The proprietress of Zhiweixuan is very nice. We came all the way from Vancouver to Winnipeg and found this restaurant but they said they didn’t have dine-in service! But the boss let us sit down and chatted with us. Northeastern food is really delicious...“

“We had a good dining experience at Golden Loong, the hand pulled noodles have that nice chewy texture to it and the chilli oil adds that fragrant and a bit spicy kick to it, mapo tofu was also good though a tad salty when it was not as hot but perfect with rice, the lamb with pickled veggies in sour broth is perfect in this cold weather, pork bun would have been better if the pork was not so sloppy and the bun should be a bit more toasted on the bottom but otherwise good as well, cucumber in chilli oil is a perfect accompaniment to all of these as it cools down and refreshes the pallete.

We would definitely come back and try out the other dishes, highly recommended!“

Food is always well-prepared - excellent flavours and always hot, even after driving the 20 minutes back to our place. I am in love with the pho soup and the Cantonese chowmein. I always love spring rolls and egg rows. They made it the best flavour out of all the spring rolls I had elsewhere. The price is reasonable and the service is the best. I have been going back to the restaurant ever since the first time ordering online. Every plate is an awesome and wonderful meals. “This is, by far, the best Chinese food restaurant in the city. I tried it 4 times (all dine in, service perfect, place clean and excellent food) and, the final test , was placing an order for my entire family for new year's eve (total of 170 CAD including taxes, was more than enough to satisfy 7 adults and 4 hungry teenagers). I placed the order for December 31st at 6 pm, I showed up on time and, even that the restaurant was packed at that time and they were all busy, my order was warm a ready to go. Everything was delicious and it made me look like a champion in my family's eyes. I've been living in Winnipeg for 5 years now and all this time I've tried many Chinese restaurants, this one is the best so far.“

We were then provided with very kind and friendly service, served hot and fresh consumme soup while we waited for our meals. I read reviews about small portion sizes but the servings we got were huge, I couldn't even finish. My husband finished the massive portion and is still talking about it the next day. *Chicken With Salted Fish Fried Rice: Smoky with a little bit of funky aroma but packed with well-rounded flavours. 5/5
*Steamed Chicken With Ginger & Green Onion in Specialy Soya Sauce. The chicken was steamed perfectly and the sauce was great. It would have been awesome if it was a little spicy but the green onions and ginger seasoned the sauce perfectly. 4/5
*Dry Seasoned Pork Chops With Five Spice Salt. Now, this was amazing. A little oily but it was crispy, yet the meat was tender and juicy and well-seasoned.4/5
*Fried Vermicelli Singapore Style. This has just become my 2nd favourite Singapore noodles in the city. Smoky, a little spicy and the curry was cooked thoroughly. I’ve eaten some that you can still taste the grainy curry but this one was prepared superbly. I could have eaten the entire plate all to myself.5/5

I would have given 5* rating had it not been for a spotty service or the lack thereof.
