“I've tried many other shawarma places but this one still has the best shawarma in the city. In fact, someone at another Middle Eastern restaurant even told me the same. The ingredients are fresh, the portion sizes are generous, and the quality of the meat is excellent. The service can be hit or miss—sometimes you get very pleasant employees, other times they're just okay, but never bad. One minor concern is that they place their utensils on top of the garbage can next to used rags/towels, which I found a bit off-putting. Overall, everything else was great.“

“Very nice location, close to university of Winnipeg. Clean and friendly ambiance. I tried beef rice bowl and butter chicken rice bowls when visited Winnipeg. The restaurant is owned by a Syrian Muslim and the server was a Labenese student, very polite young man. Food was really tasty and good quantity. They are getting rid plastic waste by replacing plastic utensils with wooden ones. The guy allowed me to pray wherever I liked. Must try...“

“Rafsun was an awesome server! Suggested great meals for us and even gave my little sister a complimentary nutella calzone as it was her birthday. Food came out quick and he served us in a timely manner. Will definitely look for him next time we dine in.“

“I always get chicken tender and wedge special here but they always increase price dollar by dollar but that’s to be expected in the state of the economy rn. However what they really messed up I think is reducing the honey dill sauce size by more than half. Now I run out of sauce before finishing 4 chicken tender pieces. That’s such a bummer. I hope they use their old container for honey dill again and fill it up. Just a bad experience unable to have enough sauce for the chicken which I didn’t have issue before.

Edit: I don’t know if they saw my review but they now include double the small container of honey dill and it’s just enough for the chicken tenders. Thank you if u were listening to the feedback.

Also I also tried their chicken 5 piece meal and it was 12.99 on uber eats before tax. It’s such a great value not only that the chicken are big size and crispy and price is amazing. I was at kfc few nights ago and their 3 piece was $12.53 after tax. And the drum sticks were tiny im like is this a joke and was sooooo greasy. I love my local restaurant clubhouse pizza and I will always support them ❤️“
