“I've tried many other shawarma places but this one still has the best shawarma in the city. In fact, someone at another Middle Eastern restaurant even told me the same. The ingredients are fresh, the portion sizes are generous, and the quality of the meat is excellent. The service can be hit or miss—sometimes you get very pleasant employees, other times they're just okay, but never bad. One minor concern is that they place their utensils on top of the garbage can next to used rags/towels, which I found a bit off-putting. Overall, everything else was great.“

The restaurant is owned by a Syrian Muslim and the server was a Labenese student, very polite young man. Food was really tasty and good quantity. “we were recommended Zaytoon by a coworker, this place is AMAZING! the service was so friendly, and the food was unreal! this has to be the freshest food I have ever tried. we also had the chance to chat with the chef/owner, who told us allot of their ingredients, like the olive oil are direct from Jordan. also, that they make everything from scatch, in house daily. we will absolutely frequent Zaytoon again and again and recommended it to everyone we know!! thank you for a wonderful experience!!!“

“This place is a hidden gem, the quality of the food is always great and the prices are affordable. The people working there are always friendly. Our picks were the grilled eggplant babaganoush, the walnut hummus and tahini cauliflower as well as stuffed grape leaves. We ordered for 40 people but could have fed 60 people easily. The Turkish bread and whole wheat pita were also wonderful.“
