I love(d) the ambience, food and the service. I went for the first time pre-Covid and can't wait to go back again for a lovely dinner post - covid. Rooting for you not to close permanently due to the pandemic☹

Black Bird Brasserie is a delightful gem of a restaurant situated in St. Boniface. The restaurant itself is well decorated and hasca pleasant atmosphere. Staff were friendly, attentive and they made the dinning experience at The Black Bird Brasserie that much more enjoyable. Came back. I have been told by many that they have improved and I have changed my rating to reflect.Protip: many complaints of the French onion soup came from lack of cheese. When I asked for the what's cheesiest, the server informed me they can cheese up the soup. What we got back was perfect. (5 ?) sounds like you just need to ask for this.
