“Shop is in a “hole in the wall” ?Once you walk in, it’s a warm climate with warm, dim lighting. You can sit in a half outdoor section as well, however we held off since it was a bit chilly.Service was good.The floral lemonade was strong, tart and a bit sweet. Good, nonetheless. 7/10They give you a bottle of water to distribute via glass for the table.The chicken that comes in the curry ramen and can also be ordered as a side order is good. Great crisp on the breading, juicy and tender chicken.The curry ramen was creamy, flavorful and delicious. 8.5/10Chicken wings were a unique seasoning and sauce. Nothing like I’ve ever tasted before. 7/10Shrimp dish comes out as 3 jumbo shrimp on a bed of spicy mayo. I prefer my sauce on the side, so it’s not overpowering, but it wasn’t a big deal. 7/10The pork belly in the pork belly mazeman is AMAZING. 10/10The Brussels sprouts were tossed in a great sauce. Cooked perfectly 10/10“

“Outstanding food, facility, location, and service in all regards except only one. The whole staff, including the kitchen, are wearing masks. That is a very impersonal management decision. It has to be a management decision; the whole staff can't be immune system compromised or sick or all making the personal decision to wear a mask. I support anyone who chooses to wear a mask and understand they will have a good reason, but this is an employer that is forcing all their employees. Sad.“

“Perfect location for some comfort ramen!! Located literally right next to John’s Hopkins University, Kajiken is ideal for students, visitors, locals who are craving a savory, hot meal. The noodles are made in house and the veggies taste so fresh!! The broth was heart warming and the ambience isn’t loud and distracting, but not library quiet so having a meal with friends would be perfect!“

“Very solid food and overall experience.Took my daughter there and we had edamame, steamed dumplings, an avocado roll, a California roll and the Black and Red Ramen. The Ramen was very good, the sushi looked fine, nothing special. The edamame was under salted but was good. The steamed dumplings were Ok, nothing to write home about.I will definitely be back for the Ramen, probably would pass on everything else to be honest.“

“We’ve been enjoying eating at Akira for a long time but wanted to leave a review because they have been so kind and attentive whenever we bring our baby in. Multiple employees stop by the table to entertain and say hello to our daughter and seem genuinely so excited to have us there. We always let anyone who asks hold her because they love it and it gives us a break. Thank you to all the aunties and uncles of Akira Canton. We appreciate you so much!!! “We got the chicken ramen, spicy pit beef ramen, rice bowl and the fiery shiitake noods. The rice bowl was probably everyone's least favorite (it was a little bland for our taste and the sauce it came with was too sweet for our palettes) and the pit beef ramen was probably the best item we tried! I personally really enjoyed the shiitake noods but the flavor does get tiring half way through with the szechwan spice peeking through so it was nice to have other dishes to try out as well! The woman serving us was so nice and was super helpful while we were ordering! Would recommend if looking to try something new and some hand pulled noodles! This is located inside whole foods so you can also get your parking validated here as well!“

“I haven't had Mi & Yu in a long time and was super impressed. The staff was helpful when I was ordering and helped me order. I got ramen with fried chicken. The chicken was very favorite and made for a perfect bowl of soup for a cold day!“

“We ordered takeout to share with friends - sushi was delicious . We loved the spring rolls and Shumai. I also ordered chicken Yaki soba for my daughter - it was okay- I wish it was a bit more fried and flavorful but it tasted bland and I wouldn't order again. We will be coming back for the sushi!“

“Ever since I tried this place at this particular location I thought the food was pretty good! The only problem is that sometimes they run out of ingredients or items on their menu (especially before 2pm) and there are issues with their customer service (like finding out when you get home they gave you 3 shrimp tempura instead of 1). I am aware that they are about to permanently close shop at this location so I traveled again for the last time almost 30-40 minutes just to be disappointed again just to find out they still don’t have laska ramen (I’ve never been able to try this dish ever, so why even bother posting it on your website) and no truffle sauce (again), so I said, ‘that’s ok’ and the female who answered the phone just hung up on me. She could have at least apologized on behalf of the business.When you open up your new location, wherever it may be, please make sure you have adequate Ingredients to last until the place closes for the day and hire more friendlier staff. Otherwise your food is great and it’s sad to see you leave!“

“So far, I have tried salmon bomb, yellow tail amazing, water fall, and moon cake in the sushi bar appetizers, and all of them were great. They have such unique, yet delicious appetizers, and I highly recommend trying them out. I will say the sushi rolls are average, and I am not the best fan of their ambience, but the appetizers make up for everything else.“
