Every time we come to Baltimore, we have to stop there for a meal. The first time I went, I swear to you, I had a mouth "O" (trying to keep it clean here. Lol.). It's been that way every time. Atmosphere is spot on with the service and preparation. Thank you, Theresa and thank you, Thames Street for doing what you do best. Cannot wait for our next visit. “First off, the food is amazing. I recommend trying a few of the small plates and tapas and see if you want to just keep ordering those first before you commit to the entrees. The entrees are large portions you can easily share with another person so I'd go that route so you can try several of the smaller plates. Cuchara offers several staple tapas and small plates which are just as good as I've had in Spain. The service is some of the best I've had. The servers were super friendly and attentive and the food came out so fast. We were honestly surprised how quickly it came out. I can't recommend La Cuchara enough.“

“The service and food was absolutely amazing! I drove in from Buffalo NY to watch the ravens beat chiefs. While that didn’t happen the one bright spot was deciding to give Angie’s a try. The food was absolutely amazing! The crab dip, the crab cakes, my 16oz ribeye smothered in the most perfectly cooked scallops, shrimp, fresh crab meat. It was phenomenal. I can’t remember his name but the guy waiter we had as well was a cool guy. He walked around when he had a minute and had conversations with all the customers so I left an extra tip. Next season when I’m back in town I will be paying them a visit again!“

But for delicious food I would definitely come back. We had the guacamole, ceviche and elote appetizers. All were fabulous. Then tried the fish, shrimp, duck and steak tacos, all very good. “We went to Koco’s today and it dawned on me, there is a bar that has all different types of people. There are Liberals, Conservatives, whites, blacks, Asians, gay, and straight people. For the time that we are in there, none of that matters. We are just people with no labels. We are people that come to this place to celebrate the best damn crab cake in the state. Sure, our bill is usually over $150.00 but, while we are in there, politics, race, and class mean absolutely nothing. To me, the food is second. What comes first is the atmosphere, the service, and the overall experience. I would just like to thank this place for pulling all of this off. I live about 90 minutes from Koco’s and it is always a pleasure to get in the car and drive down 83 for an awesome dining experience.“

The tempura broccoli is one of the best I’ve had. The rice and beans are also a great side for the sandwich. We also got the pork ancho chile bun and a side of pickles, which was also good. Not sure I would pay for the pickles again, they were quick expensive but enough for 2-3 people to share. The restaurant is a bit small and pretty busy on weekends, so if you’re a large party you may need to eat elsewhere. All in all, all the staff were friendly. The owner is always on the grill cooking up heat, but he constantly stops to say hello to the neighborhood regulars who all know each other. The servers have clearly all been working here for a long time, testament to the type of place the owner is running and theyre all the sweetest people. I only ever go when im in the area, by no means a regular and still i feel like a part of the neighborhood every time i go. As far as the food goes, ill just say that ive never been inside and not heard people speaking greek to each other- id wager a big portion of their customers are greek immigrants who know what good greek food is and this is where they eat.Samos is a true Baltimore gem, i love the food and place but i really love the people behind the food.“

The omelet was something I could make at home. It had more chorizo and maybe 2 shrimp chopped up inside. It was not seasoned very well. But I ate it all as I’m not one to waste food. My side of grits were amazing. It projected what I could’ve enjoyed with the other entree. Lesson learned.Hubby got the crabby grilled cheese. “Written by a Peruvian who is often in LA, NYC, DC, MIA. Trust me, I (and many Peruvians) hunt excellent Peruvian food wherever we go. Our gastronomy is becoming world-renowned (yaay) and so some (!) are trying to cash in and provide sub-par/tasteless/bland stuff and try and sell it as “Peruvian” food. Well, Puerto 511 and Chef Jose are exceeding all expectations. First thing you notice after laying eyes on the beautifully plated dish is the freshest ingredients but then, BAM, the perfect combination of taste, spice and tenderness hits you. Delicious as it should be when made right. He serves traditional flavors in a gourmet-style. PrixeFixe dinner of 5 delicious courses which was completely perfect. Beginning with the super tender veal anticuchos (with the nice and spicy sauces), to the tuna en su causa (perfectly seasoned potatoes layered with the freshest tuna) and the sashimi in aji amarillo and ending with churros (made as they should be with a pumpkin-base dough) topped with a scoop of guanabana ice cream, strawberries and Dulce de Leche! Each dish had our beautiful and familiar Peruvian flavors, all exploding nicely in your mouth. Excelente!“

“Definitely old-school bougie (white table cloths, sommelier with a 50+ page wine list, cheese cart, and 4-6 course tasting menus), but don't get me wrong, I won't turn my nose up at a fancy fine-dining experience. Especially since you often get to taste flavors and try fare that you wouldn't normally be able to find at just any establishment. And for the most part, Charleston didn't disappoint. The scallop course was cooked to perfection, the breaded oysters were amazing - fried on the outside and creamy on the inside - it is RARE to get oysters that perfectly fried. My favorite dish was probably the duck. I am a fan of duck in all its forms... greasy over rice, fried and slathered in a bbq sauce... but this was on the scale of a dish I had in DC, where the duck was so tender it was like eating a seared, well-rested steak. Honest, perfection.I was a little disappointed in the white truffle fettuccini and their desserts. They had no wow factor like the rest of the meal and the pasta dish didn't even have real truffles. At over $200 per person for 5 courses, I would have expected a few shavings on the miniscule portion. But, 6 out of 8 of our party loved that dish, so maybe I am being too picky :)The restaurant itself is intimate and upscale, but still approachable. Most guests were dressed up, so it is definitely FANCY, but there is no specific dress code, or at least not one that is enforced from what I could tell. Our party of 8 was seated back in what I am going to call the wine room, where we were surrounded by dimly lit shelves of wine - it was old world and romantic and we had a delightful time.Their wine list is overwhelming - I am not kidding when I said it was over 50 pages! I asked for a Brunello and the Sommelier told me to turn to page 57... 57!!!! So, if you don't know what you are looking for or what might pair well with your upcoming courses, I would suggest asking for a recommendation.I also think our party-size was a little overwhelming for the staff. I am not sure they are used to serving that many people at once. There were times that the food didn't come out all at once, which is awkward for the pacing when you are eating a coursed meal, and one dessert came out a full 5 minutes after the rest of the table's. I know this is nit-picky, but it's an expensive meal at one of the premier restaurants in Baltimore, I would have just thought it would have been a little better coordinated. But, like I said, we had a big group. A smaller group may not have the same experience. Despite that though, the waiters and staff were friendly and helpful, explaining the dishes and the wine-pairings that came with them.<3 All-in-all, I would recommend. It was a fun experience, very enjoyable meal, made all the better with a group of friends <3“

While there may be some wait times due to the high volume of patrons, it's understandable. Overall, I would definitely recommend it.Parking: As with the rest of Baltimore, street parking is an option here.Kid-friendliness: There were some families with kids, that’s about it.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance ramp“

“Relatively new building.Classic old school Baltimore staple.Yes, it's in the parking lot of a gentleman's club. As seen on "The Wire".The Markie is the perfect union of beef, turkey, and sausage on a fresh roll. They have a huge sauce selection. Their horse radish is a little unusual in a good way. The gold bbq sauce is everything you want it to be.“

“First of all, whoever came up with this concept is awesome and I thank you. This is like a mall food court but way better.Customer ServiceI've been twice already and I can't wait to return. R. House has something for everyone with a plethora of cuisines to choose from. We didn't get to interact with the employees when ordering because orders were taken through a kiosk, but we were greeted when it was time to order.FoodBmore BRD-We selected the BRD. A classic fried chicken sandwich with fries and a beverage. I wasn't expecting this sandwich to be so huge, but it was big, mighty, and good. My sandwich was juicy, hot, fresh, fried to perfection and did I say delicious? I forgot to take pictures because my food was so good.Taharka Brothers- We met with a couple of friends and ended our lunch with a sweet treat. I was elated to see Taharka Brothers my family loves the Honey Graham flavor and I love the cookies and cream.AmbianceI love it!!! The concept is awesome, a way better food court than your regular malls. Oh, and the best part is the BAR!!!ParkingStreet Parking is available, they also have a small parking lot and overflow.“

“My friends and I were very excited to try this place . So many good choices on the menu , so where do we start lol. We ordered a bunch of items to try so here they go…. Fried green tomatoes topped with crab, buffalo fried pickles, fried oysters , lobster fingers, crab Rangoon poppers , and spaghetti and crab meatballs , I mean all so good! The fried green tomatoes could have been seasoned but overall good. The sauce under the lobster fingers was so tasty had a nice ginger kick. The lobster was fried so perfectly. The pickles next. , So good! Thick cut with buffalo and blue cheese underneath, muah! The oysters were ok . Oh I forgot the French onion ring soup was bangin and cheesy, love the spin they put on it . The crab Rangoon poppers so cute and delish a nice burst in your mouth! Last the spaghetti and crab meatballs so so good, nice combo. Our server Rick was awesome. We had a great time ! Def will return to try more on the menu.“

“This was my first time coming to the new location. I had been to the other spot they had before a while back but didn't really remember it. This one was easy to locate right off the highway in an industrial area. There was plenty of street parking as well as parking on the side in the lot they share with neighboring businesses. I would assume the other businesses are closed during evening hours since there was so much parking available. The inside was very spacious with plenty of open seating. Came in on a Thursday night that meet a couple of coworkers and it wasn't crowded. They do serve food but the menu is limited. I think all of their beers are brewed in house. Some and great and some are a little weird. They will allow you to have small samples before you order a full sized glass. I say try a few until you find one you like. They have trivia nights and other special events so check out their website.“
