“Everything was pretty good. The food tasted good. And it could just be me but the chicken looked slightly weird. The breading was too perfect and crisp so makes me wonder where the product is breaded, on site or if they order from Sysco like that. Or wherever they order their food from. The burgers were really juicy, not super flavorful though. They do offer alternative buns and we got lettuce buns. They give you a good amount of lettuce which I was pleased by. Their drinks either come from a can or a soda fountain. Water is in water bottle form and when I was there it was $1.50 for water or kids drinks. The pickle fries were good. Thin and crispy.“

These guys are very nice and kind, I mean, I am ALWAYS greeted with a smile, they don't rush you to order, very patient! “First time here. I had the Birria Dilla (pictures) which was excellent. It's large, very cheesy, generous meat portions and excellent flavour profile. Not for someone trying to avoid oily food 😆. My husband had the steak and shrimp burrito and enjoyed it and our toddler really enjoyed the crispy chicken quesadilla (without sauce). Fair prices. Made fresh. There was no line when we went. We look forward to coming again!“

“Like most "hole-in-the-wall" places, the food here is awesome. They serve breakfast and lunch only, which means they open and close early. If you order your food correctly. You won't be disappointed at all!

They have a small parking lot (maybe 10-12 cars could fit), but people can drive, let alone park. The great thing is there's no dining in, so you're usually in and out. I would recommend calling ahead of time so you don't have to wait too long.

If you're looking for vegan/ vegetarian options, this is probably not it. I believe everything is cooked on the same grill. The only possible vegan item are the grits, which are amazing, but that's only if they don't use butter during the cooking process. You can get egg and chèese, veggie omelet, fries, and possibly another item or two, but understand the incredible possibility of cross-contamination for your vegan/vegetarian desires.

Otherwise, for those who enjoy good food, this is definitely a spot to visit if you're in the area and looking for great breakfast/lunch on the go!

“A & D wings I went was at Mondawmin Mall and I go there al lot because there food be so good the only thing I eat there is a 10 pc Teriyaki chicken with extra sauce and it is so good to me I don't know how everybody else feel about it but this is how I feel“

“I, along with four other friends went to this restaurant on Saturday 8/23/25 and both the food and service were excellent. Everyone we came in contact with was very polite, friendly and professional. I personally loved their corn bread muffins and asked if I could buy some to take back home. “I used to shout BRD is the best chicken spot in Baltimore from the rooftops any opportunity I could get. Unfortunately, I think something may have changed.

Like other reviews I have seen recently, they very clearly changed up their chicken vendors or something along those lines. The chicken went from being insanely good, to pretty much a frozen Tyson tenderloin or something equivalent to that. I am going on BRD strike until they go back to their old ways.“

And I say this because, MOST of the time, we don't get treated with kindness or respect when we go pick up orders! Store is usually clean and safe. Staff is extremely friendly and food is prepared as requested. Wait time is normally 10-15 minutes. I've been to other ABW locations but this one is my favorite.“

“This is my second order from California Pizza. The first order we got a pineapple and beef pepperoni pizza with wings and fries. The pizza is good down to the crust. That’s why I recommend California Pizza to my best friend. He ordered The pizza with pepperoni, wings and a sub for me. “Bertha's Soul Food Bar & Grill hit my aunts South Carolina Soul and my South Bronx Soul at the same time as we traveled through Baltimore for a business meeting. Auntie saw the collard greens and they was cut wide and her Bronx side eye made her look suspicious. Her taste test brought out her smile. And the bust down went down. Her side of crispy fried chicken complemented her plate of Turkey Wings, collard greens, sweet potatoes and yellow rice. As I am doing this review 2 weeks later I am feeling like jumping on the 95 South on the 3.5 hour drive to get our same dishes. I had 2 pieces of Fried Catfish, mac & cheese, broccoli.
I didn't leave anything on my plates and it was the perfect meal that filled me for the drive back to NYC. Our entire meal was seasoned just right we requested to speak to the chef and seasoner to give our praise.
Bertha's Soul Food restaurant accommodated us and so we certainly did.

“I visited the Rotunda Local Fry location. I ordered the local fries with the crab dip, no scallions, crispy fries and cheddar cheese. My order was just about $19. Within 6 minutes of receiving my order I notice the fries were not crispy to me but limp, (Not the fries with the crab dip on them) I'm talking about the fries that didn't have dip on them were limp. I asked for crispy fries. I asked for them to be made over and serve the dip separately in a box possibly. I was told by Corey Hawkins that he could not make them over or offer a refund unless the store personnel made a mistake, also no refund is not stated on the receipt nor is it posted in the store. He stated he is not allowed to do anything basically to satisfy the customer, no other manager was there for me to speak to. This to me is not fair to the customer because I was totally unsatisfied and wanted a remake (separately) or a refund. This is very upsetting that the customers are treated this way, his hands was tied and im left unhappy with $20 fries. This was like a 10 minute ordeal because I was trying to get my money back and had i known that you dont give refunds I would have never placed an order there at all, this needs to be made known to the consumer. This situation puts the manager and the customer in a very awkward position and something needs to be done for customers that are unhappy with their orders, or you will loose alot of customers once they go through something like this and especially because its not posted that you don't give refunds.
