“I know this place is right next to hot pot hero AND honeypig, but if you haven't had sundubu (or even if you have elsewhere) you've got to try it here. It's top notch, and my wife and I have tried quite a few sundubu places. Other food looks great too, but I'll never not order sundubu.“

“I had steamed monkfish.. There are no real good restaurants in ELLICOTT CITY, where I live now. There is no restaurant that is particularly good at steamed monkfish. However, I ate delicious monkfish for the first time in a while at Hyeban. I love braised monkfish, and for the first time in a long time, I ate it very deliciously. The portion is huge.. If two people come, you can really eat the monkfish to the fullest.. Above all, the service is really the best.. The servers are great. Very friendly.. The female server named EUNJEA was really friendly.. I went there for the first time and asked a lot of questions about the menu, but she responded very kindly and kindly.. I also like the spacious space.. The tables were close together. I like it because it doesn't exist.. The last thing I want to say is that the food at this place is not crazy delicious. It's more than average, so don't come with high expectations.“

“Had the Dumbling Ramen and it was very good. It was spicier than I expected but I’m not bothered by such things; gave it a nice surprising kick. Comes in a metal bowl on hot pad, so be warned it will be quite hot at first and may need to let it cool a little before eating.“

“What's not to love? The food is fantastic and their service was even better. The banchan (side dishes) were delicious. The tabletop cooking added to the dining experience. The meat was cooked to perfection. We were each given complimentary scrambled eggs.
The only catch: they don't take reservations. So coordinate and plan accordingly. They only seat you when the full group arrives.
Five stars all around!“

“Looking for authentic Korean cuisine? This is the place.
Very authentic from food selection, drinks offered, to interior atmosphere, wall decorations and the service. There is nothing fancy here, only hearty Korean vibes and food here. Everything is reasonably priced given the shareable size portions of each order. If you understand Korean culture, you will know how authentic this place is and will not complain about the service. It was good service to my opinion 😉
Definitely recommend @WineDinenVacay“

“It is not mainstream and gives the vibes of walking in to a Korean restaurant into an authentic family owned restaurant in Korea.
Have been here several times and loved it every single time.
Its not flashy, it's not upscale, and it's busy. The people there hardly speak english, but everything is so authentic. They serve barley tea, they have onion salad, and it makes you know that they are legit.
Please don't go here if you are in a rush, looking for something fancy, or are not patient to work past the language barrier.
Do go here if you love authentic food, a personable experience, and friendly staff.“

“Good food with good service! I ate there several times as someone new to Korean food and enjoyed and left satisfied! I had the kimchi pancake, steamed eggs, and other dishes during my visits! All good experiences with good food! This place is worth a visit and worth a drive to try out Korean cuisine!“
“Great service, it's an over the counter restaurant, how much can you expect? I only come for soondae guk combo. I used to live near the Annandale Seoul Soondae. Always loved soondae guk. This dish isn't for everyone, but if you love hardy Spicey soup. This dish might be for you. Even though this is the only place I know of that sells this soup around the area. I still think it is worthwhile for my craving.“

“This chicken is sooooo good. I get the golden original boneless wings. They are more like chicken tenders than wings in my opinion, but they are large so I'm not complaining at all. They are delicious. Little kick to them but I'm very sensitive to spice. Will continue to come back!!“

“I've avoided this place for over 10 years because I remember it being very expensive and instead frequented the AYCE alternatives. However, I decided to give it another shot last weekend and was surprised by how great the food and service was, and the price wasn't too bad either!
Highly recommend the bone-in ribs. Cold noodles were very bland. Steamed egg was bland as well but the hot temperature and fluffy texture made it taste good.“

“This is probably the best Korean-Chinese place in the Mid-Atlantic. Other places have declined while Tian has maintained its quality if not improved.Usual order is the gan-jajang and jjampong. Mapo tofu is good as well. Tangsuyuk is average, but realistically how do you differentiate yourself when you are serving fried pork pieces with goo?“

“This unassuming place serves delectable, 100% authentic Korean “pub grub.” The friendly owners took the time to explain the menu. They also made sure we had plenty to drink and eat throughout our stay. Our orders came out of the kitchen quickly…and the food was DELICIOUS! ?
The plain fried chicken was a bit bland (we ordered it for the young kids…so it was perfect for them). However, anything that is seasoned I’d recommend. The owner brought a free “sampler platter” of condiments to our table midway through our meal. This sampler included kimchi. I lived in Korea for 6 months; Seoul Pub boasts the best kimchi I’ve ever tried. The kimchi is both mild and complex in flavor.
The prices here are also amazingly reasonable. We ate well and drank well, yet our total pre-tip (for a party of 8 adults) was under $200.
I’d highly recommend Seoul Pub for a night of great Asian food and drinks (the Soju is delicious).“
