“Just had an excellent dinner at China Garden. Ambiance, service, and food was 5 star. Started with complementary special pickles served with wonton, sweet and sour souse and hot mustard. Wonton soup was full of pork wonton and tasty. We ordered Shrimp in Lobster Sauce, and Sweet and sour pork both or which were VERY generous portions and delicious. Took home enough for another complete dinner. Definitely looking forward to returning and working our way through the menu“

“The food was great and has always been great. The service itself is always faster than expected. This place has been here for years, and nothing has changed. I think when ppl talk abt what Chinese is best in Frederick Big Chef is definitely on the top of the list!!“

“The prices are great here, especially at lunch. The pepper steak was prepared quickly and came out piping hot. There was no extra charge to get fried rice instead of white. I like that there's an option for soup or soda with the lunch combo, but I went with the egg roll.“

I have gone here a few times and its always been delicious food, but especially today (Christmas Eve) I want to give a thanks to them because although the wait time was very long because they were over flooded with orders, it was absolutely worth the wait. I expected that maybe with being so busy, they might forget an item or maybe the food wouldn't taste as good as it usually does but neither of those things happened. The food was really delicious and the staff is very kind and patient. They are my favorite place to get Chinese food and everyone should give them a try. We got the General Tso chicken, Szechuan Beef, Crab Rangoon, Egg Rolls, Spring Rolls, Fried Wontons and Shrimp Mei Fun. All of it was perfect. Thank you so much, and good on you for being able to deal with this crazy holiday.“

“Very generic interior, nothing stood out and no ambiance, really. Lacking decorum and aesthetic. I don't really need to see 100 bamboo steamers stacked up on the wall, especially when they're coming to my table.
The menu is on large tv screens mounted to the wall, very fast food-esque. To order, we walked up to the counter, where the cashier was less than enthusiastic to be working there or maybe working at all. We were given a plastic number tag for the table we chose and waited about 10 to 15 minutes for our food.
My friend's Soup dumplings were overcooked to the point some dumplings were visibly open and all but 1 dumpling had no soup. When we lifted the bamboo steamer from her tray, the soup had pooled below on the tray. She liked the flavor and texture of her sampler, though.
For me, my dumplings were almost perfect, except the chicken. The chicken had no soup and I immediately got a texture no no (gristle, perhaps). My other dumplings in the sampler were delicious and decently flavorful. Bao buns were a great hit all around - fluffy, white bread texture, scrumptious BBQ flavor, and actual pieces of meat, not paté or mush. Lastly, the veg noodles I brought home for a later meal were awesome. They reheated nicely in a wok with a tbsp of water and dash of soy. Veg was tender crisp and I loved the flavor.“

“I had a carry out and the shrimp rolls were delicious. The pork lo mein was tasty but did not have enough pork pieces and the owner willingly agreed to get us another order. That’s good customer service being our first food order with this place. Keep it up.“

“My husband and I love this place. We go there at least once a week. Over the years we have discovered our favorite items and they are always good. My husband's favorites are: Pepper Steak, Moo Goo Gai Pan, Beef or Pork with Chinese Vegetables, and Egg Foo Young. My favorites are: Cashew Chicken, Orange Chicken, Moo Shu Pork, Pork Lo Mein, and Hot Sour Soup. There are still items on their menu I want to try. They have lunch specials Monday thru Saturday from 11:00 - 3:00. For 99 cents you can add an egg roll or soup to your lunch special. They are closed on Tuesdays.“

“Our family of 7 stopped there on our way home from Abingdon, MD. They were so sweet! They set up a table for us, brought us everything and the food was absolutely DELICIOUS. I had barbecue boneless ribs and they’re the best I’ve ever had. They helped us throughout our meal. Highly recommend.“

“A lovely little place you can stop by and get fresh food made fast. I got the teriyaki chicken, white rice, and veggies for a healthy lunch! You can get fried rice or noodles as other sides, but I found my combo to be a pretty healthy choice.

You order, and then they cook it right then and it's ready in a few minutes . Hot off the griddle, fresh, and super friendly hard working folks behind the counter.
