“The bakery is conveniently located on the main road of the small town Accident. We dropped by to order some coffee, donuts and cinnamon roll. They are very good. Then we decided to add two slice of cheese cake. Then we decided to buy bread. Everything looks fresh and tasty. Staff is super friendly.”
“The BEST pizza in Deep Creek period !!! Hubby and I drive an hour just to get pizza here .Everything is delicious but that pizza is some of the best we've ever had. 10/10”
“Oooh, I love this place! Never do they disappoint. I can't find a better place on the East Coast. Okay, the Midwest as well as the West Coast. The best Zucchini Chips Ever! French Onion Soup! Even a side Salad is fantastic! I wish I ordered the Steak Salad, though. My guest did! It was so good! Keep up the good work!”
“Saw the reviews from many who traveled this way, came in brought half dozen of the only kind they sell Donuts. Ms. Lil was so nice, had to support the store. She literally took my order over the phone, and held it until I got there. Edith tendered my order because Ms. Lil had left for the day. Good food.....Good people!!! Willbe back, and will tell others.”
“This was one of the best chicken chicken sandwiches I have ever had. The fries were also perfection. Do not leave Deep Creek without a hot Nashville chicken sandwich.”
“The entire family enjoyed this little coffee shop. A month later and my youngest son still talks about how good the brownie was. The rest of us really enjoyed our coffee/espresso drinks and look forward to coming back!”
“Great little brewery for watching the game and hanging out with friends. Friendly staff and great beer make this a fantastic place, which is sure to be a local favorite for years to come.”
“The service is very nice supportive in time efficient the food there is amazing the drinks are even more amazing the anchor inn has been a great experience every time I go there.Parking: Parking was easy to do and it's located right across the street from the anchor inn”
“Very good Amish owned and family bakery worth going out of your way for with Thursday through Saturday featuring homemade donuts, pies, cinnamon rolls, cookies and homemade bread,”
“We're visiting from DC, and went here two days in a row. Service (Mo and Robert) was awesome, beer selection and cocktails were great (Cherry Blossom was excellent, Goonies was a bit too sweet), pizza/flatbread was good, and bingo was fast-paced and fun.”
“Took my family to the Honi Honi for an early lunch, we had little kids with us and there are some nice play areas for them to climb and run around. The food is from Pizzeria Uno next door, we enjoyed the pizzas and nachos we got. The drink menu is perfect for summer, lots of interesting frozen drinks, etc. Outside seating is excellent but it does get crowded! Had a great time and will definitely be back.”
“Beautiful setting. However the waitress hurried us to order even though we repeatedly told her we wanted to relax with a drink first as it was our anniversary. Crab soup was delicious. Large spinach salad was nothing much more than a bag of spinach! Disappointing. Hubbys mushroom ravioli was very good. Prices are on par with restaurants in the area.”
“Two visits during our weekend stay at Deep Creek. Both delicious, both five stars. Second time was busier but still great service. Iced lattes were the best ... just started their Fall drinks. So yummy! Custom made - very attentive workers! Clean store with something for everyone - ice cream - hard and soft serve, coffee drinks, fudge, other drinks (shakes, smoothies, floats, etc). A little gem!!! Will add to our must stop at list when in the area.”
“Kylie was great at the counter and made my son’s evening by helping him pick a prize! Clean and fun arcade, my son LOVES it. Thank you, Kylie for being so accommodating and awesome ??”
“Beautiful views!!! The dining area has awesome views of the lake. We came here starving after a hike and Firewater definitely delivered. The loaded fries were basically an American poutine. The burger was scrumptious with a juicy thick patty and delicious bacon jam. The only downside was that fries were on the greasy side with rather thick breading. All in all it was a great experience and would come again.”
“A true hidden gem! The best pizza, subs and salads in all of deep creek and the prices are amazing! We tell everyone coming to the area about this amazing establishment.”
“This place is truly a find! The food is amazing, and I recommend eating on the porch and looking out at the beautiful river and the gorgeous flowers!Nearby activities: Falling water is not far!”
“It's a quaint little pub with a friendly staff and good quality food. The ingredients seemed fresh and of high quality. Definitely try the steak and cheese - banana peppers were a good touch.”
“Hole in the wall dining at it's finest. The pulled pork is saucy and delicious, the brisket is fabulous. It is a side of the road stop which is well worth it. But get there early as word is getting out and he sells out fast.Wheelchair accessibility: This is outdoor dining.”
“I was in there last night with a few friends and ordered wings, steak wedgie, and fried mushrooms. Everything was absolutely delicious! The bartenders were extremely nice as well. We will definitely be returning!”
“This place is our favorite place in deep creek, the owner and her staff of wonderful ladies are the best! The food is delicious made from scratch, steaks are delicious and so are the soups. And the bar service is terrific, friendly and attentive. I just wish it were open more hours during the week.”
“We ordered a lemon blueberry naked wedding cake and it was not only gorgeous, the flavor was impeccable! Guests kept telling us this was the best cake they’ve ever had! 10/10”
“Staff is very friendly and accommodating. We ordered Fries with beef gravy, ribs, pull pork, brisket with corn bread and smoked chicken wrings. The brisket is the best among all. The fries are very good. The wings on the other hand are a little too dry to my taste. Overall, pretty decent. We went during the spring break. Not many activities around and many restaurants in the deep creek region are closed or have limited opening hours.”
“It seems this location doesn't have the best reviews however I had a wonderful experience today. There was a gentleman in line before me that was ordering 8 subs. The staff were kind and attentive. The restaurant was clean. The bread was soft and fresh. The cookies were all cooked perfectly! None were over cooked, which if you have been to a variety of Subways you know what I mean!”
“Better food than pretty much any other on-site dining option, and the bar is typically open later than Wispers next door. A small selection of tap beers and standard mixed drink options are available, but don't expect anything super high-end or exotic. Entrees are in the $15-$25 range, but portions are generous. There's a small amount of bar seating with one TV or a more traditional dining room option.”
“Took a while to be greeted and seated. Had to wait on our food because of a large call in order, which wasn't a problem. However, I expected the food to be hot since there was a longer wait. It was barely warm. Seemed like they were short on staff because customers were standing around waiting to be seated and at the register. Waitress was friendly but didn't check on us throughout the meal. I'm just a little disappointed this visit.”
“Was a good experience finally guys got it together. Every thing was as it suppose to be good service times and correct. Thank you guys. I will be ordering again thanks.”
“Very good experience for a McDonald's, store was clean and the bathrooms were decent. I think their milkshake machine was even working though I didn't want a shake while on a road trip. Their drive thru seemed fairly busy and they had the self serve kiosks but were still helpful and willing to take an order at the counter too. Provided condiments and extra napkins when asked and was polite the whole time.”
“As I traveled through the fog trodden mountains near Deep Creek, I found myself in Uno. Comfortably nestled between lake and land, Uno offers affordable, delicious food with an incredible ambience that stands out amongst the tourist areas nearby. Our service was wonderful, being seated immediately and treated very kindly throughout our meal. My group and I started with the crab dip, the spices and cheesy crab were immaculate. For my main dish, I had the Moby Fish with fries. The sandwich tasted wonderful and the tartar sauce was so so so rich. However, the fries were a bit bland and the seating was a bit uncomfortable. Wash it down with some sweet tea and you have yourself a wonderful meal fit for the whole family. 4/5 stars.”
“Hidden gem in northern Accident, just 15 mins from Deep Creek. They offer 7 different ciders and you can do tastings of however many you like and purchase bottles of cider, snacks, and bring some of your own food to enjoy on site. The area has plenty of parking, plenty of outdoor covered and open seating, and fire pits for cooler months. My favorite cider was the town namesake, Accident, for its bright lemony finish.”
