“Jerry's Sub's and Pizza, which is located inside the gas station. Was not impressed with the pizza looked pretty old and well done. We ordered subs which were okay, unfortunately not what I ordered. I ordered an Italian and ended up with turkey and ham, my spouse ordered a steak n cheese and the steak was well done, but more bread than meat. But everyone has a bad day, maybe this was one of them. But I still felt it was a little pricey for what we got.“

“It was amazing. Simply amazing. Casual, not luxurious, but so cute. Small yet roomy. And clean. The pizza was incredible. I think they make their tomato sauce themselves. You know how at those fancy pizzerias the taste is good but when you fold the slice New York–style, the tip droops down because it’s soggy? This was nothing like that. It was a huge pizza, but the tip of the slice never drooped. Perfectly crispy.

They also give little packets of oregano and amazingly good chili flakes, which I thought was such a nice touch.

The interior is very charming. I just think the lemonade could have been a bit better. I hope the taste always stays this way.“

“Flame & Cones provided pizza and dessert for our Yacht Club party. They showed up at the marina in plenty of time to get set up to deliver their goods. While they were at our request, they had sufficient food for other marina slip holders. The pizza selections were varied and most enjoyable. “Finally tried Big Bite tonight and we were very happy with all of the food.
Pizza: crispy crust, good sauce (not too sweet or too salty), good amount of toppings. Some may think they are heavy on the cheese but I typically order extra so I loved it.
Garlic dipping sauce on the side: Delicious. Think of a real, homemade version of papa John's garlic sauce. I could taste the seasonings.
Wings: we ordered plain with sauce on the side. Wings were big, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Hot sauce and ranch dipping sauces were great.
Steak and cheese: really tasty, healthy amount of meat, bread held up nicely“

The atmosphere and vibe was good also. Decorated for the holidays really well. The music choice didn't fit the vibe but luckily it was so low I had to focus to hear it.

My only negative was I asked for a medium burger. See photo attached that my burger was well done. Outside of that I couldn't be happier.

It's conveniently located near one of my favorite theaters, and Andy's Pizza is the perfect spot to meet up with friends before or after a screening to grab a bite to eat and a good drink (Atlas Brewery being part of the same space is a cool touch, and I've had a couple of good brewskis too). Great service, delicious pizza. I love a thin crust and getting a single slice or two served up on a classic white paper plate really hits the spot when you want some 'za. “We switched to the LaPlata location after COVID because Waldorf seemingly couldn't make a pizza without burning it and it was often difficult to get someone to answer the phone. Since then, I order from LaPlata every Sunday, and we also celebrate my kids' birthdays there. We've NEVER had a problem; even when they're slammed the waitress (I'm sorry, I don't know her name) is always on her game. I deal with the same people every week and they're always pleasant. I see a bunch of negative reviews and I'm more inclined to believe the majority are just miserable people who either want something for nothing or just want to complain. It's a pizza place... if you want a 5-star dining experience and gourmet meals, then go to Old Town Alexandria and pay $125-150 for a meal.“

“There are many Ledo restaurants and as you know the quality is not the same. This one however is one of the GREAT ones! The pizzas are made and cooked perfectly (especially well done). I cannot tell you how many Ledo franchises cannot get this right and they are one of the first local innovators of this. The quality of food carries through to their salads and other items as well. My only complaint would be, I’m not used to it in today’s world, someone beside us was smoking a cigarette and we’re not used to that. So the smoke was a bit much.“

My family and I ordered the Meat Magnífico pizza and it looked good but the meat felt over cooked, but it was still an alright pie, overall. The next thing we ordered were these garlic Vocelli Rolls which on a scale 1 to 10 I’d probably give it a a 7.8, cause they were good but I didn’t feel like they were cooked all the way through, also the cheese which was also on them felt they it was too much. Lastly we also got an order of wings and they were dry, hardly any sauce on them, and there was no flavor to them, so I was not happy with those at all. 50-50 if I’ll give this place another shot, but if I do hopefully I’ll have a better review of this place.“
