“Cute little coffee shop. We traveled from Harford County to support local small businesses in Maryland. Latte was so-so. Apple cinnamon muffin was fantastic! Apparently pets are welcome. Kind of tight seating and no in-house mugs, only take-out cups. Probably better for grab and go, not necessarily a sit and chill vibe. We were excited to add our pin to the map!“

“I’d give it 6 stars if I could. Looks like a bookstore from the outside, but guess what?! Well. It kind of is a bookstore. Because it’s IN a bookstore. But that’s part of its charm. The coffee is great, obviously. And they have tea. Just don’t you dare ask for chamomile. Or if you’re feeling playful, you can always get some hot choccy. They’re always playing great music too. A fantastic atmosphere. I go in every single day with my laptop to do some work and I swear, I accomplish more in one hour than a college kid on Adderall cramming at 4am for an 8am final. The real absolute rockstar of the show, though, is Madison. I think she might actually be superhuman. Once I ordered something and she told me no, I don’t want that, and then made me something else. And you know what? She was absolutely right. It’s like she was able to take her hand and reach it into the deep, dark recesses of my soul and somehow know more about me and what I want than I’ve ever known about myself my whole life. I will never question her on anything again. If you’re in Annapolis for even just one day, this place is a must stop. Just don’t come when I’m there, I’m trying to get some work done.“

“was iffy about going here because i couldn’t find their menu online, but i’m glad i did! just an update: they do indeed still have their tofu scramble burrito! it’s quite good but messy and the red sauce that comes on the side is NOT for the faint of tastebuds lol. VERY SPICY. the tomatillo sauce is good though. good lattes with several flavor options, make sure to ask which are dairy free if you’re vegan though because some like the cinnamon toast crunch syrup are not.“

“Looking for a quick coffee break from all your shopping adventures in downtown Annapolis? Rise Up might be the spot! We visited here for the first time a few days ago as we were traveling through Maryland and stopped in Annapolis for the day and we were pleasantly surprised with both the seasonal maple iced latte and the iced tea we got. I didn’t see until I had already received my drink that they had a supposedly iconic coffee smoothie on their menu. That was probably their best menu item - shame I didn’t get a chance to try it. Next time!! But yeah, this place is located in a little food hall that has several different vendors all in one location. So, you can come here for food from some other places and get your coffee at Rise Up all at the same time! I really enjoyed this place, service was good, our drinks came out fast, and there really were no complaints. I will be trying the coffee smoothie next time I’m in Annapolis and stop by Rise Up!!“

“Baltimore Coffee and Tea Co is a great place for Tea since I don't drink coffee. My sister loves the coffee. The food is excellent and usually the service is second to none but I have experienced one person who was a bit out of "the good customer service mood". The most memorable experience I had with them was the day I walked in and needed a tray of assorted pastries and an assortment of bottle water and OJ's. It was all done within minutes and the manager allowed me walk through the establishment as they carried everything to my car in the back of the building. She was also kind enough to provide a container to carry the water and OJ. It was all done with a smile and the greatest customer service display. I frequent there often for the Salmon Cream Cheese bagel. Great food with quick service!“

“Beautiful little find that really only the locals know so it's only open on the weekends. They serve typical French pastries and breads along with hand-crafted coffees as well. The croissants are some of the best I've had, and they're always made fresh. The hours aren't long, so you'll need to time your visit carefully if you're an out-of-towner.“

“found this cute café while searching for places nearby for my partner and i to try. came here during the Halloween season, and it was decorated to fit the season and stay true to the theme they wanted when opening. theres all sorts of different seating for different people (large seats for cross legged seating, and tall chairs for studying), many different teas and coffees to try, i highly recommend the bulgogi egg and cheese bagel sandwich ! super filling for the amount of food they give you. the music isnt too loud and the environment is very welcoming as soon as you walk in all the way up until you leave.
we've only come here twice, but we'll definitely be coming here more often. even despite only coming for the second time, there was a staff member that recognized us immediately. the people who work here truly take care in what they do, theyre passionate about it too !!

“Always nice to have alternatives to corporate cafes (ie. "SB"). The food and coffees taste better, and you get more for your money here. Not much room inside or out front, but you could hang out back if you're into that. Crownsville location.“

“Every single time I go here I’m so happy! The bowls and smoothies are delicious. I have been weekly for the past month and I can’t say enough good things. You can try the base of the bowls (which is super helpful), and you can customize the bowls. Everyone has been very friendly and efficient. 10/10 . My favorite Annapolis stop!

Kid-friendliness: There are chairs that kids can sit in. Only two tables close to the ground. The rest are “bar seating,” but there is a fountain / picnic table area across the way that is perfect to enjoy your bowl or smoothie. Everyone was very kind to my (almost) 2 year old!“

I was seriously touched, watching this. I’ve held a dim view of the world lately, and this made me question that.“
