About Bistro 300

Bistro 300 at the Hyatt offers a pleasant dining experience with a focus on quality food and drinks. The restaurant's menu features a variety of options, including the popular short rib poutine fries, crab cakes, and catfish fish and chips, as well as the refreshing Paloma cocktail. Although the food quality can be somewhat inconsistent, with some dishes like the fish and chips being undercooked, the attentive service and welcoming ambiance make it a reliable choice for guests staying at the hotel. Recent reviews highlight the perfectly spiced crab cakes and warm pretzel sticks with cheese sauce, showcasing the bistro's strengths. The bartender's recommendations and friendly servers, like Sosha, enhance the experience, suggesting that Bistro 300 is a solid option for those seeking a meal or drinks during their stay, including a recommended steak for low-carb diners.

I came quite close to closing time and was greeted warmly by the staff. The bistro smash burger was excellent. Same prices you would pay at any other inner harbor restaurant, and very convenient if you are staying in the Hyatt Regency (the Bistro 300 is located on the 3rd floor of the hotel)
The restaurant is small, and we were there for a late breakfast. The wait was really long but probably because they had wait to flip the tables as people left. There is not a huge buffet selection for the price, but what was on it stayed stocked except for the fruit. We stayed at the hotel and went by for the breakfast buffet again two days later. We were seated quickly this time, but had no service. Had to ask to place our drink order, for refills and the check as well.
Terrible experience. Food is mediocre at best,
