“Came here to leave a review for my experience yesterday. It was probably one of the best pizzas I had. Considering I’ve tried many places in New York I’d say this is an easy second or third place in total. Best in Maryland I’ve had.After reading a lot of the one star reviews it seems as though the main issue was about cleanliness. It seems to me that they have taken these reviews seriously and done a lot to improve in this area. Toppings and pizza were fresh and tasted great. Workers are very friendly as well. It is understandable that they may be stressed with a busy night rush, but don’t let that stop you from ordering.Overall I hope that this place will continue to stay open and strive for a clean and nice staff. My personal experience was awesome.Thanks!“

“My wife and I had an absolutely amazing evening dining out here on a long weekend trip to DC for our Birthdays. The food was incredible I have not found one dish at this or the Chicago location that wasn’t great. Abagail was simply the best waitress we have EVER had. She was attentive, personable and really went out of the way to give us the best dining experience my wife and I have ever had from top to bottom. We had a great experience in Chicago but I have to say I think the food was a touch better here. I am comparing caviar to caviar here as both were great, but DC has the win here and certainly did with our waitress as well.“

The rigatoni alla vodka was the best I’ve ever had and I highly recommend the smoked scallops and roasted chicken as well. Just great service and atmosphere. The music was a huge plus as well. I am from out of town and meeting a friend for a late dinner. I am so happy he picked Al Tiramisu. This is an unassuming storefront tucked tightly between 2 other establishments, but don’t let it dissuade you. The specials are hand crafted each night and are the way to go. I had linguine and meatballs which were a better version of those I make at home and my friend enjoyed the pea risotto which was a soft green color (mint green like a vintage vespa). Both dishes eased our thoughts of Monday morning as we dug in. We left with full stomachs ready for bed.“

“Great venue with two moods: the front elegant, cozy, warm. The back a large space, bright, packed, and energetic (hard to have a conversation) like a true Italian restaurant.

It's a good Italian option in DC.

Don't miss the parmigiana di melanzane, a deconstructed unconventional execution that works. Fritto misto lightly fried, delicious!

Good carbonara, with a generous serving of very good guanciale
The agnolotti e limone : tasty but needs some tuning: dough it too tick - too much past! also difficult to cut, and, when you do, all the filling come out.

Tiramisù : not a huge fan, missed some coffee.

I ordered the Pappardelle Alfredo and for dessert, I chose the cheesecake, which was the best that I've ever had at a restaurant. It has a hint of lemon, and it was delicious. “I came here during my lunch break on a weekday. All the pizza options were available and I got the buffalo chicken slice. I don't make that much $, but the pricing was totally worth it. ($6 I believe) The pictures don't do it justice, but if you like NY style thin crust with that grease drip, you'll love this. The crust had that dough bubble that I love, and you could hear the crunch echo throughout the cafeteria. I would love to see some gluten-light offerings in the future but for now? A quick bite for good quality? You won't be disappointed.“

I asked my server for a recommendation and ended up getting a margarita pizza with a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon. The pizza was excellent, probably a little more than one person should eat. The wine paired excellent with it. With tip it was about $35, which I think is reasonable. Highly recommend.“

I know there are a lot of cheaper pizza chain delivery options in my area and I have tried them all but Squisito's pizza is so much better taste and quality that it's worth the slightly higher price.“

The management needs to decide are a full fledged Italian restaurant or just a pizza place serving some Italian food. I would go back again.“

“Came here with a friend a week ago and loved it! The 'build your own pasta' concept is fun and the combos all sound great and mine turned out really good. Also the amount you get is more than enough. Only issue (and it isn't Gigi's fault really so not impacting my score) is that seating is limited and people tend to linger at tables for awhile after they're done so heads up you may have to be prepared to dine elsewhere if it's really busy since it's in the food hall and there's lots of competition for seating.“

Please tell me why I was charged nearly $8 for a single slice of pizza, not even jumbo slice. 😫 I also got a side of meatballs (3 for $15), but they were pretty good. I've been here for their lasagna in the past which was excellent, but getting overcharged for a single slice of okay pizza left a bad taste in my mouth.“
