“Delicious meal. This woman Joan can cook. Everything was cooked to perfection, tender tasty. I ordered Egusi soup!!! She was kind and had great service too. It’s also one of the less expensive places I’ve seen. I’ll be gone my back today.“

“I have been wanting to go to this restaurant for quite some time, because it is not easy to find a restaurant that serves Senegalese Cuisine and there was a Instagram review that posted good African Cuisine and this restaurant was on it. I wanted to add that I have tried Jollof from Nigeria, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Liberia, Congo and Gambia, so I know my Jollof. I have always thought the best Jollof I have had was made by my best friends wife. He is Gambian and so is she and the other was while I was in my husband's country of Togo there is a Senegalese restaurant in Downtown Lomé that I have to go to every time we go to Africa. That is AMAZING. This restaurant has the same flavor, the broken Jasmine rice, the nice texture and the additional of vegetables. Typically Gambians and Sengalese do not add veggies because the flavor and quality they make can stand alone. PLEASE GO TO THIS RESTAURANT!! IT WAS SO REFRESHING TO TASTE GOOD AFRICAN FOOD OUTSIDE OF GOING TO A FRIEND OR FAMILIES HOME OR IN AFRICA!! KOITE GRILL my taste buds are so happy and satisfied.“

“So many folks have been drawn to the new kid on the block, Koma Café, but don’t forget about the welcoming, delicious and expansive Mansa Kunda at the corner of Flower and Erie Aves. There is plenty of interesting space to enjoy a meal, a quiet afternoon coffee or a friendly drink. You can even sit on a chair made from a traditional West African drum. There couldn’t be a more gracious host than Hatib who serves brunch in addition to lunch and dinner. This morning he welcomed five of us for a 10:00am feast, first asking if there was anything we didn’t eat (meat for the most part) but yes to eggs. We trusted him to surprise us and indeed he did. The veggie omelets were tender, whole wheat rolls still warm, the home fries crunchy and rich and the Brussel sprouts delicious. There were small coconut fritters, lightly fried and dusted with powdered sugar. So tasty! The brunch menu at Mansa Kunda includes familiar favorites like blueberry pancakes in addition to traditional West African dishes. Peanut butter chu anyone? It’s open from 10:00am to 9:00pm every day with Happy Hour from 4:00 to 7:00. Hatib is also an excellent baker so the sweets are a treat. We’re very lucky to have Mansa Kunda in the neighborhood. If you haven’t been there already, you’ll find something special to enjoy.“

“The best restaurant in USA“
“Aduke’s kitchen DOES NOT DISAPPOINT. Period. Catered two events with this business and both brought on the WOW factor. Some people caterer as a business and means of income, others as a passion and something they enjoy. For Aduke’s kitchen, it’s so clear to see this is a passion because the service and excellence is amazing, thoughtful, and tasty!“

“Wow! This place really surprised me. Was looking for a great lunch and it did not disappoint. I kiked it so much I ordered a plate to-go before I even left the parking lot.
The lamb, goat, and rice were all cooked to perfection. Omar, the gentleman who took my order, was gracious and kind as I asked questions about the menu. I wished they had more veggies in the menu, but regardless - if I lived in the area, this spot would definitely be on my list for tasty takeout!“

“One day my sister wanted cassava leaf and fufu. I told her it’s a spot by my house and we went she got her cassava leaf and fufu and said it was delish. She started requesting I stop by before coming to her house often. One day I ordered the Peanut Butter Soup and the women who cooks it is awsome! She came out and talk to me explained to me about the different menu items and I decided I wanted peanut butter soup with chicken and she did her thing in the kitchen! My food was so good I couldn’t even tell my sister otherwise she be pissed I didn’t get her anything! Lol defiantly recommend food takes about 10mins to be ready.“

“Tried for the first time and the food was really good. I got the okra soup with goat meat and pounded yam fufu. The staff was helpful. The portion size was a bit small (only comes with two pieces of goat meat but you can purchase more) and it was expensive (I paid and $25).“

“Cafeteria style service. They are sometimes efficient but the food is good. If you are used to West African/Nigerian style cooking, you will enjoy it.
They do very well with catering orders too.
Parking: Plaza parking
Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly. No craziness
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel up to the door.“
