Yes, if you compare this place with most cheap Chinese all you can ear places, $33 does seem expensive. However, fresh and high-quality food cost me. I am willing to pay extra for good, fresh food. As another example, I was shocked to see a review giving them only 3 stars commenting she got sick (even though she said she loved the food there). I was wondering if she did not cook her food well in the hot pot, or she couldn't handle the spices.“

“My family came to the Silver Diner midweek for breakfast to celebrate my grandmother’s 90th birthday. Badr was our server and was so friendly and attentive. We casually mentioned we were celebrating a birthday, without any expectations, and at the end of the meal they brought out a treat with a candle and got the whole restaurant to sing happy birthday. Perfect for 90! She loved it. Also, the oat milk protein pancakes were incredible!“

“I dropped in during Happy Hour by chance for a bite to eat and was pleasantly surprised to learn that Happy Hour Specials applied to table dining at full sized portions. It was great opportunity to try a pizza and a queso appetizer affordably.

They both were very tasty. The portion size of the queso was smaller than expected but so rich and flavorful that it was satisfying and good to share.

The atmosphere was family friendly despite many people meeting for drinks. My 11yo and I were comfortable and enjoyed our early dinner. I’ll return to try other menu items.“

What makes them stand out is the cost conscience menu, fresh tasting food, and a staff mostly local high school kids that are professional with can do attitude. Right now I’m raving about something as simple as stewed tomatoes as a complementary side dish. Their breakfast foods including creamed chipped beef fresh. Their lunch and dinner foods bring you back, especially the open faced beef sandwich with mash potatoes and gravy, to a simpler time. Check out their menu and ask them about their pies.“

“I’ve gotten assorted treats from Nikkie and her awesome team for years, but our most recent experience was by far the best. We ordered a custom cake for our daughter’s 5th birthday. I sent a few inspiration photos and my budget and let them know I also had a cake topper I wanted to use. Faith suggested a couple options in my budget that would customize it to our Cinderella theme and Nikkie helped to finalize the choices. When I picked up the cake I was stunned; it was perfect and when our daughter saw it she was absolutely enchanted. The birds and ribbons from Cinderella are one of her favorite parts of the movie, and they brought the entire thing to life. Everyone at the party commented on how gorgeous (and delicious) the cake was and we ate nearly the entire thing. My heartfelt thanks go to the entire team at Sage for adding such a memorable touch to our daughter's birthday celebration. Your skill, creativity, and attention to detail are truly appreciated!“

“Yoyogi is a community staple that has been around for many years. This is a great place to get fresh and very fairly priced sushi. The staff are efficient and quick. I mostly go just for pickup orders as well usually order from yoyogi for events or gatherings with friends.“

The chicken tikka was the highlight- tender, rich, and perfectly coated in a creamy, spiced sauce that was out of this world. We also loved that dine-in came with real plates and silverware- it felt more like a relaxed restaurant than a casual counter spot. Portions were generous, prices were totally fair, and everything tasted homemade and fresh.
