“Now THIS is a sandwich! The semolina sesame bread is only made better by the STACK of meat they generously pile on, plus all the toppings. I had the roast beef and turkey, and my friend had the eggplant parm… both fanTAStic. Regret I have to drive all the way from Fairfax to get here (we don’t have good sandwich places in the Frfx Sta/Burke area), but I will just to try everything on the menu. Special thanks to the guys who run it - they obviously enjoy people & their job - their friendliness is big enough to fill their small establishment. Take your appetite and GO!“

“Food tasted good and sandwiches were generously sized. Bummed there is no salad bar anymore or soup choice, as stated online when reviewing menu. Also, extra cost for additional toppings is sort of a stinger. Otherwise, service was grand and flavor was satisfying.“

“This hidden gem needs to be FOUND by everyone! Met one of the owners, Mark, in Pazzo Pomodoro recently who told me about Nozzo Pazzo. I have since fallen in love with their sandwiches the Bugs Bunny and the Green Arrow wraps (vegan) which I return to get regularly. Then found out they also do breakfast! After Mark described how they make the French toast, I couldn’t stop thinking about it! I had it this morning, and believe me it is melt-in-your-mouth perfection. The place is so beautifully set up, and the tunes playing over the speakers were equally awesome! An absolute must try!“

“My family and I ate here last week, before we hit the airport to return home. The food is fantastic. Very fresh. But more than that, the level of service and attention and just general kindness was outstanding. The owner and his staff, again, are great. Five stars. It's a little expensive, but you get what you pay for.“

“Every time I go to Maryland to visit family, this is my favorite stop! The quality is great, and this Pole isn't bluffing. My son knows how much I love it, that for Christmas I received 2 boxes of my favorite things from the store. I've got to lock my freezer now as other family members threaten to steal the kielbasa and pierogi.“
“Cornucopia in Bethesda, Maryland is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, you’re surrounded by delightful pastries, perfectly seasoned chips, rich oils, and food essentials that bring flavors from across the globe. Every shelf feels like a passport stamp from another country.
My favorite indulgence is the Caprese with Mozzarella di Bufala sandwich—complete with balsamic, virgin olive oil, and fresh bread. It’s simple, authentic, and bursting with freshness. Each bite feels like a quick trip to Italy.
Cornucopia is more than a market; it’s a sensory experience that makes you slow down, savor, and appreciate the beauty of real food. A true Bethesda treasure.“

“authentic, Authentic, AUTHENTIC Italian deli and grocery. Old school, greaseball type place. Fresh pizza and deli counter food, refrigerated and/or frozen store-made pasta dishes, meats and deserts, plus lots of imported Italian canned stuff. Looks like a set from a Brian DePalma or Francis Ford Coppola film. This place would look completely at home on the corner of Mulberry and Hester Streets in lower Manhattan. If you what that means, then this is the place for you.“

“WHAT?! I'm from northern Jersey/NY area where pizza is a religion. I stumbled upon this absolute gem entirely accidentally and have not stopped talking about it. This place serves DELICIOUS pizza. Beautiful crust that stands up (minimal flop), delicious sauce, cheese is spot on. It's the little things that count and this place does some serious pizza. Highly recommended.“

“Not gonna lie. At first impression, I was a little skeptical. Once food arrived, quickly forget But if in the Bethesda area you got to try this deli spot. You won’t be disappointed. I won’t name the other chain sandwich shops and this will definitely surpass it. Can’t wait to do the breakfast bagel set up .“

“This is a solid breakfast and lunch spot very close to downtown Silver Spring. This is a local mom-and-pop shop that is run by the cutest older couple. I have had breakfast sandwiches, omelets, their breakfast burrito, and I haven't been disappointed with the food yet. While they do have chairs inside, it is really a take-out spot.
This a solid place for your essential breakfast and lunch. I try to always support local and small businesses.“

“I had a great experience at this store. I went there just to get a cup of coffee and was surprised by the prices, which I have never seen in other coffee shops. The cashier was very kind and polite, we had a great conversation. This place is opposite my house and I will definitely come again!“

“If you want a great breakfast, with homemade home fries and great pancakes, go to Madison deli. They also have terrific sandwiches salads and soups. During non-Covid times, they make the best Korean bulgogi around. I highly recommend it!“
“Run by a nice family, this place has been a winner for years. While I do miss Ezat, who used to bake the flatbreads in the back of the store, this market carries many types of great ME breads and many other ME products. While their canned or bottled foods can be priced a bit high, this market is an overall winner! Love it! Superb!“

“Jack's isn't the biggest place. But it's earned its name, Jacks Famous Deli. It's truly withstood the test of time. The food comes out fast enough where you're not waiting to long. And anything you get from the deli line is prepared fresh. So if you're ordering wings, you'll need to get there and wait a little because they'll be cooking them in the kitchen fresh!!“

“Jean’s Deli is the kind of place I’d frequent almost daily if I worked in the area. For its modest size, the restaurant boasts an extensive menu of hearty fare (hot/cold sandwiches, burgers, breakfast items), as well as fresh salads, a fruit bar, and other lighter options. Everything we’ve tried is seasoned just right with generous portions, and the produce they use is unfailingly fresh. The deli’s been run by the same owners for the past 35 years, a couple with the kindest demeanor who put meticulous care into everything they make and serve. If you work nearby or are simply passing through, bookmark this spot and give it a visit.“

“This Chinese takeout joint has been in the neighborhood since 1996-1997. It’s awesome because everybody seems to know everybody, the Chinese owners speak fluent Spanish, and on the menu there are more Latin American foods than Chinese food. All good!“

“Stopped in on a whim to pick up a few extras for dinner and wasn’t disappointed! Everyone inside was so sweet and patiently answered all my questions as my knowledge of Vietnamese foods is limited. I think I’ve gotten the names right, please excuse me if they’re not!
I loved the Banh it tran or the sticky rice dumplings filled with a minced pork mixture. The outside is a delightfully fresh and soft mochi-like texture packed with an equally smooth textured filling.
The banh bo was a curiosity buy, I thought it was tripe at first but learned it’s actually a steamed white rice dessert. Spongy, bouncy, delicate and fresh. The cake itself is rather bland if you’re not used to rice cakes but adding coconut milk will give you a nice, not-too-sweet treat.
10/10 recommend, it may not look fancy and shiny from the outside, but if you’re looking for more of a grandma’s cooking/homemade vibe the food inside is worth a visit!“

“Over the past four years, I was a regular at Rock Cafe while working near by - going three to four times a week when working there. Across four years, this adds up to well over one hundred orders. Here is my thorough review on everything!
Service - a lot of us regulars would refer to the Cafe as 'Frank's', after the owner who is there with his team every day. Frank is a great man, who I have had the pleasure of getting to know very well. I would often times go over and he would immediately know my orders depending on the day of the week. Despite being a lean team they are fast and efficient, and if they do forget something are quick to fix it apologetically. During the school year they have dozens of students come between the hours of 11:15 and 11:45, but even then you'll get you food fast enough.
Ambiance - while a simple interior, there is still places to sit both inside and outside. I typically take the food back to my office space, but on a nice day there are worst corporate parks to sit at.
Food - as past reviewers have stated, there are lots of different specials depending on the day of the week. My go-to favorites are the following:
- Chana Masala on Mondays - an appropriate level of spice with tons of flavor. Comes with rice, naan and raita.
- Italian Coldcut on Tuesdays, which come with a side of chips. In general, I his sandwiches were my go-to when I couldn't make a decision
- Chicken Burrito Bowls on Wednesday - a much better value than places nearby and always filled me up. Probably my personal favorite. I would typically add hot sauce too.
- Butter Chicken w/ Naan and Rice on Thursdays - similar to the Chana in that it was very flavorful with a touch of spice, but nothing that should deter away those that aren't completely averse to it. Super popular - they typically sell out before one.
- For breakfast, his sandwiches are the best deal in the area! Fresh bagels and egg with your choice of meat and cheese. Highly, highly recommend!
In general, I also liked the paninis and his chicken quesadilla. I would occasionally get salads, although these were typically my least preferred option.
Overall - for great service and good food at some of the best prices in Montgomery County, you can't go wrong with Rock Cafe! I know they'll also take larger orders if you call ahead of time, so great for work/team events too.
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair acessable, on ground floor with openable doors.“

“Great little spot inside the office building. They were very accommodating to my husband's low salt diet. The bulgolgi was fantastic and the chicken salad and unsalted fries that my husband had were both delicious, even without salt. Whenever I'm this way again, I have a new place to stop into.
Dietary restrictions: Accommodating to low salt diet“

“NYC prices right here in NEPA! Good thing my teeth aren't false. They would have fallen out by my jaw dropping so far! I tried this place for a second time ...customer service was lacking and this short lady with dark hair who seems to rule the roost with an accent from the city, comes off so judgemental and cocky! terrible actor. Hate this place.“

“A small but mighty market. Staff is friendly.
There is a selection of beer, wine, snacks, & drinks. There is also fresh hot and cold food made to order.
I love popping in here for a nice cold turkey sandwich and a bag of salt and vinegar chips.
The turkey sandwich isn't fancy or anything and is a standard brown sack lunch type but it's great in my book.“
