“We went trying to find some good food and were pleasantly surprised to find some unique and appealing items on the menu, especially for Southern MD. Reminded us of Velocity Wings or a place in Ashburn, VA. Not a drinker but the food alone was worth going for!The nachos (Korean bbq pork), wings (brown sugar bourbon), and toasted Italian sub with a tap salad was what we ordered. Server, a new guy who said he’d only been there a month was really good. Looking forward to the next visit and trying something else!“

“We enjoyed our visit to The Green Turtle in California, MD. I had a big salad and my friend had the patty melt. Our server, Paula, was attentive and friendly. She asked if we wanted the tv at our table on or off. I appreciated her asking because I find the individual table TVs distracting. Our meal was served quickly and she checked in with us regularly refilling our unsweetened iced teas. The music is contemporary and lively. The volume was perfect. We could enjoy the music while still being able to hold a conversation. The manager, Max, stopped at the table to inquire as to our service. It was nice to be able to share positive feedback. We will be back.“

“This is a cool little place onboard NAS Pax River near the Naval Gateway Inns and Suites (formerly known as the BOQ). It has a separate entrance from the hotel portion.This place is like a Naval Aviators bar really focused on the Test Pilot school and the aviation test squadrons supporting the base's mission. This place was closed for a bit for covid, but now is open several nights per week. It is a good place to gather after work and their is a pretty good selection of beers and wines for a really cheap price. It isn't open to the public, but for those with base access - a good place to consider stopping before heading out for the night. Recommended!“

“The inside has been updated since the last time I was here, which was over two years ago. The food menu changed a little, but my go-to order was still there. The chicken was over seasoned, and the rice was dry and a little undercooked, but the service was still good. Maybe I got a new cook, but I'll go back to give it another try, and hopefully, it will be better.“
