The restaurant is uniquely decorated, the staff were friendly, & the food hit that major comfort button for us! Thank you Zahara for being so sweet & a wonderful waitress. “Our son lives in the area and we have been here 4-5 since January ( every time we visit) The owners are wonderful and the staff very attentive The fish taco appetizer is wonderful ( can be enough for an entree if not wanted a big meal) I’ve had many of the entrees and never a bad meal . The chocolate dessert is my go to”

“Absolutely incredible food. Our Lyft driver recommended we try it, now I'm sad we live 4 hours away from some of the best pizza I've ever had.”

“Came for a tasting as part of Tasting Collective and was glad I did. This was truly a great experience. The 5 course tasting had 2 courses (1st & 4th) that needed to be altered as I'm a pescetarian therefore, don't eat duck. So in place of the duck paté, I was served figs and brie and in place of the duck breast I was served branzino. Each course was nicely paired with wine, again adding to this wonderful experience.
The fig and brie with the croutons was delicious, followed by the roasted pear with gouda, pecans and pomegranate sprinkles which was a delightful tasty plate. Who would think white chocolate and cauliflower purée would be delicious and pair beautifully with seared scallops? Clearly Chef Moore did and how right was he. That purée had folks at our table scraping to get all of it. The next course was a substitute dish and was beyond disappointing, especially compared to the other 3 courses. The branzino was BLAND, but the olives that were on the side were extra salty. I thought I was supposed to eat them together, but that didn't help. I couldn't even eat this course. The final course was a butterscotch pudding, a great way to end the meal/night.
Chef Moore was very welcoming. He answered questions and took pictures with the guests.
I'll definitely add this to my list of restaurants.”

“We had the best time at KooKoo DC last night. They accommodated a table of 14 for my spouse's birthday and never let us feel like an imposition. The food was so fresh, authentic, and reasonably priced - I did a double take when we got the bill. I even felt like we went all-out with apps, drinks, and desserts! The owner was also so kind - we just felt so cared for the whole time and can't wait to visit again.”

“Hello everyone! My name is Syed Anwar Hussain, and I'm sharing my experience at the best restaurant in the DC area. Today I went to the Bangladesh Embassy, and after I finished my embassy work, I started searching for a good restaurant in that area. Luckily, GPS found the restaurant. We went with my wife and my son, and we ordered three dishes. First, we ordered two dishes. We tasted the first two dishes; they were very delicious. Then we ordered another one. All three dishes were delicious. I really enjoy the delicious food. I have no words to describe how delicious the food is. I highly recommend this place.”

“First visit; I went for Restaurant Week. I ordered the chicken corn chowder, the short rib ravioli and the caramel cheesecake. The chowder was excellent, a great balance of corn and chicken and a goodly amount--but not too much--pepper. I loved it...and a very generous portion! The ravioli was super too--cooked to perfection, stuffed to capacity with cheese, accompanied by a nice hunk of well-seasoned and -cooked short rib. I wasn't able to finish it, so I took some home. I took the cheesecake home too and ate it after a couple of conf calls. Just the right amount of caramel with a couple of strawberries and a creme Anglaise sauce. Scrumptious!! I don't remember many occasions when I've loved all three courses of a meal, but that was certainly the case tonight. I can't wait to go back.”

“Pub like atmosphere with an eclectic menu. Service was pretty good, and certainly helpful and friendly. The menu is somewhat like a tapas place in that the portions are fairly small and if you go hungry, you may need to order more than one. Has an outside area, heated, where you enjoy the official bird song of Washington DC - the police siren.”

“It is a high end dining experience for sure. Beautiful setting. Lots of silverware and settings. Many courses. Lots of staff interaction that takes place over three hours. With all that said, only one course -- the soup -- was excellent. The other food was good, interesting, and unusual. Glad we went. For the price point, over $300 for the two of us, not in a rush to go back. I am glad to see a one star Michelin vegan restaurant in DC.”

“Many people have described this place as the best pizza in DC. While it is good and definitely has that classic NYC style, it was not five star pizza. I got the Classic Pepperoni signature pizza with burrata and hot honey - very tasty.
I got it for takeout which may have also contributed to quality of the pie. A really nice touch was that they put the buratta and hot honey on the side, which kept the pizza crispier while I brought it home.
I hope to try a fresh slice at the restaurant someday soon. They have lots of selection between their own creations and the classics. If you are in DC and craving pizza, give them a try!
Parking: Parking here is difficult”

“From the moment I stepped through the doors, it was immediately clear that this establishment operates on an entirely different level. The cuisine was nothing short of exceptional—elevated in both flavor and presentation, rivaling even the most renowned culinary institutions. Every dish was a harmonious blend of creativity and precision, truly exemplifying top-tier gastronomy. What impressed me even more, however, was the service. It transcended the standard of hospitality, offering a level of attentiveness and professionalism that felt both effortless and sincere. The staff anticipated needs before they were expressed, creating an experience that was as seamless as it was memorable. In all sincerity, this is one of the finest dining experiences I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying. A rare combination of extraordinary food and impeccable service, it’s a restaurant that sets a new benchmark for excellence.”

Recommendations: Truffle Shoyu, Triple Threat, Chicken Karage
This is probably the best ramen place I’ve been to in the U.S. The place is kind of small, but trust me the wait is worth it. They have truly incredible ramen that will make me miss them so much after I leave D.C. If you prefer lighter broth I recommend the truffle shoyu, if you prefer richer broth I recommend the triple threat. They are both so delicious. Every component of the ramen is perfect, and when they combine all you feel is happiness. The chicken karage is very good too, the portion is huge and it’s not that expensive. I’m so happy that I discovered this treasure place, and I will DEFINITELY visit again! Best food I’ve had in D.C.”

“The food at Ceibo is creative and delicious. We enjoyed eveything, sharing the hamachi, eggplant, dumplings and sea bass. The dumplings are unusual, served in a delicious broth. The emulsion served with the sea bass was amazing. The wine list is reasonable and includes great choices by the glass. The service is friendly and attentive, but not overbearing. The dining room is attractive, but because of the tile floor, once full it is a little loud, but not to the extent that you'll have difficulty hearing your dinner companion across the table. Dinner at Ceibo is a lovely way to spend an evening.”

“Food choices were amazing and my server was top notch!! There were so many options on the menu. Can't wait to go back. I had the crab dip and the Kona Steak Skewers for apps. Along with Seafood Ravioli as an entree. Oh, the Jameson Whiskey cocktail was delightful as well. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“My usual go-to Wendys. Always get served amazing and delicious food.
Several notes I will add, service is pretty good BUT I asked for spicy nuggets and sometimes will recieve normal crispy nuggets, which isn't too bad but definitely not what I asked for.
Atmosphere is pretty nice and clean most of the time, although I do prefer the style back during the 2010-15s.
Overall, definitely not a terrible location. Would come back over and over again!”
