“I can always count on good tasting food at Crazy Down Home. I have only been to the Randallstown location. I have had the fried chicken, fried fish, fried liver with gravy, steamed crabs, chitterlings, home fries with onions, fried green beans, collard greens, mixed vegetables, vegetable lo mein, and fried cabbage. My son loves the cheese steak subs.“

“Being a Baltimorean all of life; I have always enjoy the extraordinary food at Angie’s. I moved to Washington DC 13 years ago and travel twice month to Baltimore to get the best chittering, pig feet, hog maws, collard greens and potato salad in DVM. I would tell anyone they are missing out if they don’t go to the Masters of soul food at Angie’s. Yummy!“

“Great experience. The Chef loves what he does and it translates to the quality of food and excellent customer service. The Chef visited our table 3x, including once to deliver a drink. The staff was friendly and attentive. Portion size was enormous. You will definitely need a take home container. Great hidden gem.“

“Good service and good food. Staff were nice and helped us find wants we wanted. Around 25 minute wait, made to order. Stewed chicken was amazing, so juicy. Fried quarter leg was a touch dry on one side, collard greens were good, yams are great and super sweet, same with sweet tea. Mac and cheese is good, not gritty or dry. Corn bread is good, needs butter. Definitely would recommend and we will be going again.“

“Updated Review! I returned recently to The Land of Kush and I had the absolute pleasure of trying the vegan crab cake wrap. I was blown away! The flavors were perfectly balanced—savory, satisfying, and every bit a testament to the culinary magic happening in their kitchen by the young lady with the loc's who gave me the warmest greeting. The texture of the crab cake was spot-on, giving that authentic "crabby" feel without any of the guilt. Man, people who know me I am very particular about certain foods, but Mr. Brown and Lynette Kitchen put there foot in it. Everything tasted great and people enjoyed it very much. “I, along with four other friends went to this restaurant on Saturday 8/23/25 and both the food and service were excellent. Everyone we came in contact with was very polite, friendly and professional. I personally loved their corn bread muffins and asked if I could buy some to take back home. The young lady was very generous and I truly appreciated all that she did. The next time I'm in Baltimore, I definitely will be going there. The other ladies with me all felt the same way.“

“I LOVE the food here!!! I've been coming here for over 16 years and I never get tired of the food here!! It's one of my favorite places to stop at anytime I would visit the Baltimore area (before moving here) now that I'm a Baltimore resident I try to eat here at least once a month.“

“Been a vegetarian since the mid seventies and we use to have to travel to Philly, New York and DC to find a high level of Vegan cuisine. Kai has brought an exceptionally superior Vegan cuisine to our area and even with the Baltimore metro area’s rise in Vegan restaurants Dodah’s Kitchen is clearly one of the best, and absolutely should be the restaurant on everyone’s “bucket” list. Meet Kai, talk with her and one will soon realize that Dodah’s is a literal extension, an aspect of her being. She is meticulous and one of the best definitions: (taking, showing, or involving great care and effort) Synonyms for meticulous: careful, conscientious, fussy, loving, painstaking, scrupulous, and to me, this reminds me of Mama in the kitchen !! and with that, we don’t even have to talk about the food.“

“When I stepped into Corkscrew on a Saturday night, I was struck by how much of a geniunely good time everyone was having. But when you consider that the DJ was doing his thing with banger after banger, it's little wonder.The food: I found it to be solid but some items were not as moist and flavorful as they could have been (the salmon), didn't have the kick they could have (the jerk egg rolls), and others saltier than they should have been (the collard greens), I really enjoyed their mac and cheese--it's perfect crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside--the way it's supposed to be. I would order that alone and be happy.The drinks: the bartenders were on point. We had a variety of drinks both on their menu and classics. They hit every time. They even make a great amaretto sour. The Corkscrew sour was a surprising and welcome twist on the sours we are familiar with. And I'm not embarrassed to say that I ordered an amaretto sour and enjoyed it. Like really enjoyed it. The bartenders are beyond belief.The music: we were initially disappointed that there wasn't live music this time but the DJ quickly made us forget all about it. He was playing hits from the 2000s, modern tracks, Afrobeats, Baltimore classics, and even some 70s all timers here and there. It was incredible.Vibe: the seats are so plush and comfortable that you don't want to leave. The interior design says sexy urban chic. You feel so damn elegant just being here.Service: the young man who served us was pleasant and noticeably polite. However, after we ordered from the menu, we were perplexed to see waiters walking by with plates of fried fish, steak, and salmon--all not listed on the menu.We didn't see him for some time but when we flagged him down, it turns out he that he forgot to tell us about the specials. Then he asked if we wanted him to tell us about the specials. It was as annoying as it was hilarious. I couldn't be mad at him at all.Overall: this place is awesome. We have to keep spots like this in Baltimore open at all costs. Please go support them and you'll have a great time doing it. 9/10“
