In 6 years I've seen Atwater's with a great track record for hiring and training members of its team. But I'd like to credit two in particular today. Joey, the new manager settled into his role quickly just this year and is very engaging, friendly, and happy to help customers directly alongside his team. Alyssa is another fantastic worker and leader in the team. Always paying attention and focused on keeping everything in order and working efficiently. The whole team performs well. But she routinely performs above the standard.“

“I happened upon Kora Lee’s tent at the flower festival in Baltimore today…what a lucky find! I had a shrimp salad wrap that was delicious and chock full of lovely, nice sized, shrimp! So often baby shrimp are used and used sparingly… This wrap was a real treat for the taste buds! The dessert outdid the shrimp wrap! I feel like real love must go into everything made here… that’s the only way to coax the flavors to meld so beautifully! I will definitely be trying the restaurant!Amy“

“Tonight I was in the mood for a nice tuna steak and we decided to try this place. It was awesome! The service was excellent and exceedingly fast even though the restaurant was full. I got a huge fillet of sesame crusted rare tuna, cooked just right, with rice pilaf and veggies for $31. I took half of it home. My husband got a monster club sandwich with shrimp and crab cakes on garlic toast for $36, he also took half of it home. We really enjoyed our meals and will absolutely return to try their other seafood dishes.“

“I got the pho with steak and brisket and it was incredible. The broth had such a good mix of flavors and perfect amount of spice. We also got the spring rolls and they were so hot and fresh and had the best tasting filling.

“The food is outstanding. I eat it at least 3-4 a week. My favorite is chicken madras, it is like nothing I have ever eaten before. The savory spices make my mouth water just thinking about it. The chicken is tender, and I can’t seem to get enough. I eat the whole portion by myself. I highly recommend this restaurant and I forgot to mention the service is outstanding. “My son always comes to get a toasted everything bagel w/plain cream cheese & bacon; he loves it!
Today, I tried them for the first time and I got a jalapeño everything bagel to go; took it home to add my vegan butter & vegan cream cheese.
I tasted the bagel plain (and still warm from being freshly made today) first and it was delicious w/fresh pieces of jalapeños baked into & throughout the bagel.
I couldn’t believe how good this bagel was!
Usually, I have to toast my bagel, then add butter & cream cheese BUT this bagel was so good and still warm from being made, that all I did was microwave it (because I wanted to make sure my butter melted all the way when I put it on) for 10 seconds (didn’t turn rubbery and remained just as fresh w/the top still slightly crispy from being made) and add my butter & cream cheese-it was heaven LOL; I wish I would’ve gotten more than one!
Now I see why my son is hooked.

“We ended our evening at State Fare with dessert and drinks. Since it was Wednesday and 1/2 price whisky, we all had bourbon! The drinks and brownie sundaes were delicious! Service was outstanding! Jimmy the bartender and Alex the server were super friendly and very prompt! We love everything about State Fair and can’t wait to go back!“
