“Everything about this place was A++. Not sure how this place has not come up for me or my husband before but came here Tuesday night and we’re officially deeming this our go to spot. Everything was delicious and legitimately the best Mexican restaurant in DC and the best Margaritas in town.
1. The fajitas (chorizo, chicken, steak) had amazing flavor including the side of refried beans, steak was tender, didn’t skimp you on the veggies.
2. The chicken tamales did not disappoint - you can tell they care about their masa, and the chicken inside was juicy, not dry like many places.
3. The frozen margaritas were freshly made it isn’t just a bunch of syrup. I actually wasn’t going to get one but Oscar put my concerns at ease and pointed out it was still happy hour.
Such a relief to find a spot where you can count on food being delicious, where the vibe is chill and the people are great! Thank you Oscar, Diego, and Chris!“

“The menu has a few items that I would like to try. In an attempt to eat healthier, I ordered a really tasty, well-flavored Baja salad with chicken and various fresh ingredients.
This was my first time eating Surfside and I will say it won’t be my last. It’s a great option if you are craving good Mexican.
We ordered for a group work lunch on Uber Eats and it worked perfectly for everyone to find something to their liking.“

“We dined al fresco. I had the chicken chimichanga and my spouse had the shrimp tacos. All of our food was really good, and served nicely on the plate. Our server was very pleasant, and she was very attentive. I would recommend this restaurant.“

Highly recommend the dancing Molly oysters as an appetizer. The restaurant is absolutely a beautiful place. The food is innovative, creative, and most importantly delicious. Portion size is perfect and accurate and you will not leave hungry. Every single dish was amazingly unique, It was an absolute amazing experience. The servers did an excellent job explaining each course in detail. The presentation was impeccable. the flavors were unmistakably and deliciously Tex-Mex.“

“My wife and I love this restaurant. We order to-go from here at least twice a month. My wife is a vegetarian and loves the way they use various peppers and onions in her fajita along with the tasty black beans. I love the steak. The food has great flavor!“

“Fresh and flavorful food. I had tacos pollo. The platter was large with 3 tacos, black beans, yellow rice, lettuce, fresh salsa, crema, and guacamole. My husband had carne asada burrito and said it was the best he’s had outside of So. California.“

“Great little place. The lomo saltado was good but the black beans that come with it are fantastic. Knowing a little Spanish definitely helped when ordering but I'm sure you'd be fine without it. Everyone there (staff and other customers) were extremely nice and even helped when my Spanish failed. We will definitely add this to our list of places to come back to.“

“Fantastic food and drinks! I had chicken enchiladas and my friend had a vegetarian burrito, neither of us could finish because the serving was abundant! Both came with beams and rice. We also had margaritas and they were perfect. Thank you for a great meal. I will definitely be back for more delicious food. Our waitress was excellent as well.

“Came to Laredo after a busy day at the zoo and I am so glad I did. First of all the staff is very sweet and friendly. Secondly, the food was all very fresh and very filling! The margs were some of the best I had as well. Worth every penny and whenever I come to the area I would definitely come again.“
