“I will say my first visit was decent with Kia and her service skills are absolutely fun while being helpful. I did not get the round ball that I ordered but I came out with a lot of food and drinks. However the LARGE Oxtails was very lacking on amount vs the price point and plantain is a separate purchase instead of a few pieces on the meal. The Akee and Saltfish had 2 or 3 dumpling underneath so very little ackee and Saltfish for that price. The Jerk Mac and cheese was on the almost stale side. I wasn't fond of their brand of Sorrel as it had a weird after taste. Didn't like either the fruit nor the other rum cake but those are not their fault as they are prepackaged options. The gentleman there was helpful in packing my huge order but sadly I won't be returning. Money spent there vs value was very lacking.

I was excited to finally snag a reservation for myself and my significant other. Reservations are highly recommended if you want to avoid a long wait. When we arrived for our reservation, we received a warm welcome and we were escorted to a lounge area as our table wasn't ready. The lounge was intimate, plus there was a cocktail menu. We were able to start off with drinks first. We were here for about 15-20 minutes before being seated.

Once we arrived to our table, our server was pleasant and knowledgeable of the entire menu in detail. We shared the cornbread, hoe crab and fried whitting sliders to start---chef's kiss. I then enjoyed the oxtail dish that came with a side of rice peas. This dish was so flavorful! Lastly, we finished off with the rum cake which had a perfect balance of sweet and savory. I loved my experience and can't wait to go back!“

“Celebrated a friends birthday there today. Service was excellent and management and the bartender all helped out to make for a great experience for my group. The guacamole was tasty as was the short rib hash. The vibes were awesome in there and even though my party got a hit loud the staff was extremely patient and willing to take care of all our needs. Drinks were flowing and the mimosas were great as well.“

“If you look in the urban dictionary for great “hole in the wall restaurant,” this is it! My wife and I just moved to the area and honestly have not found many restaurants that we would go back to. Family kebob our new go to for Indian.This is a small place with a few table and chairs and a small parking lot (free). The employees are extremely nice, talkative, and provided excellent service. The food was made to order and piping hot and fresh.My wife and I had: lamb kebob, lamb curry, and a side of their spinach. The spinach was amazing. I like that it is tasty but doesn’t have cream, which is typical. Very good.The lamb kebob is a huge serving and was the best dish there that we had. Followed by the lamb curry, which was also top-notch. I also liked their chickpea casserole. I would give the food a 10 out of 10.I would recommend maybe sprucing up the inside a little bit so that it would be more accommodating to people eating in, but this is definitely our go to moving forward and great for takeout.We paid about 47 bucks with a tip and had significantly leftovers. “The food here was above and beyond what I expected. Not that I thought it wouldn’t be good. Just didn’t expect the explosion of flavors from each dish I tried. I had the doubles and goat rice platter. I’ve never had doubles and curried goat with so much spice and depth of flavor before. Highly recommend this restaurant. The curry is amazing. Will definitely be back. Service is a little slow but they are a new restaurant so they gotta work out the kinks. Again, highly recommend.“

“Outstanding food and great customer service. The food here is of Sierra Leone, Caribbean, Trinidadian fare. The oxtail and curry goat are my favorite dishes here. The food is always well seasoned, the meat or tender, and most importantly—the flavor is on point. Although a bit pricey, the portions are huge and more than enough for two people. Caution to those that are not fans of spicy food. The food here can go from mild to spicy for some people’s pallet, but for me, it is A+OK! I am a fan, and recommend this place!“
