“Went to the olney location for the first time for my dad’s birthday yesterday. This place is awesome. The ribs are some of the best I’ve ever had. Ton of meat and it falls right off the bone. We had 3 racks between 4 adults and 3 kids and I’m eating leftovers tonight again. I give it a 5 out of 5 . Go here and eat!!!“

“I'm from New York and their pizza is the closest I have had to New York pizza since moving to Maryland. The garlic knots were also delicious, just a tad salty. 4 stars only because the pizza was lukewarm when I received it. I ordered delivery online and live in Germantown so that's probably why. “I’ve been ordering here for a few years now and I’m extremely loyal to this place. I work in the outlets and delivery time is always SO fast! Even during busy times it’s still faster than other places. I’m a creature of habit so I always order the chicken and broccoli and it’s always a hit. Portion sizes are awesome too. I’ve gotten all of my employees onto here, and my husband always enjoys when I pick this up for dinner on occasion. The staff are always friendly any time I’ve gone in to pick up my food, and the guy who always delivers is so nice too. If I ever leave the outlets, I would still drive up here to China Spring from Rockville. It’s absolutely worth it.“

“The cauliflower taco on the sprouted grain tortilla is a little messy but so worth it. Kale is much better than what normally comes on a taco, and the flavor doesn’t overwhelm as kale is known to do. From the sauces, there is a good heat which was a nice surprise the first time. My favorite item on the menu which also has other great items!“

“I’m VERY impressed with this place. The staff were extremely friendly and attended me very quickly. The food was amazing! The broth had such a sweet and umami flavor, you could tell the had stewed the broth in house for a good while. I got the brisket and beef pho bowl and was pleasantly surprised by the price. “Great atmoshere, high-end stylish dining room, comfortable seating. The salmon dish was delicious and a large portion. The spinach rice side dish was so delicious! The Ravini Politiko, coconut cake was the best I ever ate! The Thalissina, seafood pasta had plenty of seafood in it and delicious. Even the cappaccino was delicious, very smooth, no bitterness and taste great with dessert! The server, Baris, was attentive, friendly and did a great job taking care of us. Great place to eat, homemade dishes and desserts! Highly recommend it. I will be back!“

Yes, if you compare this place with most cheap Chinese all you can ear places, $33 does seem expensive. However, fresh and high-quality food cost me. I am willing to pay extra for good, fresh food. As another example, I was shocked to see a review giving them only 3 stars commenting she got sick (even though she said she loved the food there). I was wondering if she did not cook her food well in the hot pot, or she couldn't handle the spices.“

“My wife and I googled Osaka Ramen & Sushi restaurant and dined in here this past Tuesday night. She was a bit reluctant to eat here at first due to the basic decor and the fact that no one else was dining in. However, once we tasted the food and experienced the friendly and prompt service, we were overjoyed! We shared the Shumai for an appetizer, which was lightly fried with a delicious sauce. Next, I ordered the Miso Ramen which had lots of yellow noodles with vegetables and tofu. My wife ordered the Teriyaki Salmon which came with a salad, Miso Soup, six Sushi pieces. All the items were delicious. We also drank Saki. The server explained that the restaurant had just received their alcohol license weeks ago. To top off the meal, the server gave us each a sesame ball for dessert on the house. We ordered the Japanese egg rolls to go. The bill was only $64! As a new restaurant, we hope Osaka Ramen & Sushi thrives because the quality of food and the value are among the best we have tried in quite a while. We recommend this restaurant with 5 stars!“

“I saw a brochure of the restaurant on my door when I came home and decided to try the restaurant. I ordered a salad and a pizza. The pizza was amazing but the service was exceptional. Mh uber driver stole my bowl of salad and blamed the restaurant for it. When I called the manager reassured everything was given to him and went above and beyond to prove it by sending me a picture of him personally handing the food to the guy.. I've never experienced such an incredible service and I will for sure order again in the future. I am 100% recommending this restaurant“

There is even a focus on low calorie items (delicious) so you can spend your calories on the beer, or just enjoy table conversation while not glued to your phone screen. The signature beer offering in a "yard" doesn't match the German two liter size, which is probably a good thing. Go take a couple of laps around the Rio lake to spend some of the calories you consumed, or even head west to find a good book at Barnes & Noble (still around and even growing).“

What makes them stand out is the cost conscience menu, fresh tasting food, and a staff mostly local high school kids that are professional with can do attitude. Right now I’m raving about something as simple as stewed tomatoes as a complementary side dish. Their breakfast foods including creamed chipped beef fresh. Their lunch and dinner foods bring you back, especially the open faced beef sandwich with mash potatoes and gravy, to a simpler time. Check out their menu and ask them about their pies.“
