“Went to Kitchen +Kocktails for the first time last night. The decor was very nice, and the music was good and not obnoxious. Our server Ally was terrific! I’m not a drinker, so when I asked her if there were any cocktails that didn’t taste like alcohol, I thought she would look at me like I was crazy, but she didn’t! She seemed to know exactly what I was talking about and immediately had a couple of suggestions. I went with the mixed berry lemon drop and it was perfect for me. The crab cake appetizers and shrimp and grits with lobster tail entree were amazing. We had a great time and we’ll be back!“

“Dining in Succotash was a pleasant experience. The interior is beautiful and the staff is friendly. As a fan of the Culinary Show, we are lucky to have tasted KY fried tofu and Ribeye Kalbi appeared on the show. I strongly recommend the Ribeye. It was very juicy and satisfying.“

“Very quiet & intimate place. Everything was clean & easy to access. The service from Jennifer was so welcoming. You know how it feels to when you go visit relatives you haven’t seen in a while? That’s how Jennifer made me feel. We had a brief interaction but I felt at ease talking to her. The food was absolutely amazing!!! I ordered the catfish & grits. The steam & favor coming from the meal was breathtaking lol. If I return to DC I sure will be back. Also, try one of their homemade drinks. The 14 Carat drink was delicious.“

“My mom and I celebrated my birthday at Succotash PRIME, and it was an experience we'll never forget. From the moment we arrived, Andrea, our host, welcomed us with such warmth and kindness. She truly set the tone for an amazing evening and made us feel like honored guests. Our server, Angel, was absolutely outstanding. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about making our dining experience special. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, and her thoughtful service made my birthday celebration even more memorable. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was beautiful, and the hospitality was exceptional. It's rare to find a team that makes you feel so valued, but Andrea and Angel did exactly that. Thank you for helping make my birthday one I'll always remember. We look forward to visiting again the next time we're in Washington, DC!“

“My wife and I celebrated her birthday at Mallard and their team made it a really special dinner. They send out a complimentary tartine to start the meal and surprised us with homemade strawberry ice cream and birthday candle at the end. They send out food was great and the service was absolutely spectacular.“

“The wings were very good. However, the gumbo was not. It was very skimpy on the meat, and I didn’t find any okra at all. It was also a bit under-seasoned for my taste.
The Henry Pineapple Peach drink was good, but in my opinion, it wasn’t quite enough to share.
That said, Jordan was great! I hope I get seated in his section next time. He was very patient while we were being indecisive and provided excellent service throughout our visit.
We definitely want to come back and try brunch!“

“Walked in… No reservation… seated quickly and as soon as I spoke my food was on the table… LITERALLY!!! Weam was amazing! The service was beyond exceptional… the manager DeShawn was keeping the ship tight and running smoothly, the food is definitely a 10/10 and that mimosa tower was towering…. Milk and Honey is definitely a Vybe… I highly recommend you visit it if you haven’t as of yet… I FORSURE will be back!!!!“

“First time visiting this restaurant. Food was absolutely delicious. I had the pork chops with gravy ( ask for extra) , collard greens and Mac and cheese. My daughter had the baked chicken with the creole sauce 😋 with Mac and candied yams or sweet potatoes
So Good. Finished with the bread pudding and ice cream and banana pudding for dessert.. did not disappoint. The service with Bridgett was great, attentive, warming and friendly. Food was served timely. Not slow but just right. ❤💯Will come again!!“

“We had a great time. Clean, not overcrowded. Food was actually seasoned!!🙌🏾🙌🏾 Service was INCREDIBLY from the cashier, to host, to waitress ANNDDDD THE BATHROOM WAS CLEAN. We’ve decided to ditch the closer one and make the 41 minute drive to this Waldorf location moving forward!!“

“I frequent Carolina Kitchen weekly, sometimes twice in one week. The food is delicious, especially the stewed chicken, beef bbq ribs, cabbage, greens and black eye peas as well as their baked beans. The food is seasoned appropriately, not too salty or bland, just right. The staff is superb. I recommend Carolina Kitchen to anyone who appreciates good food.“

“This place has amazing food, especially the fried fish sandwch!!! That sandwich will dam near feed 2 people and will definitely feed one person for a whole day. Also, the catfish nuggets are amazing as well. I just wish they were open on Sundays and also later on the days they actually open.“
