“I want to give kudos to Dutch Harbor Seafood Market. I always get great crab cakes from there. This time I got steamed crabs and Chuck outdid himself. Fantastic! If you live near or from far away it's worth the time to visit. I also enjoy some of the cheeses and the fresh pretzels At the other booths. Very good.“

“Love Vaccaro’s! I have loved them many many years and I am in my mid 60s. The cookies with the sliced almonds are my favorite and out of this world! My next favorite are the Francy. They are great with morning coffee. I don’t make it to Hunt Valley very often, but I also never go to Baltimore City, so Hunt Valley is where I would have to go in order to get my Vaccaro‘s fix! Every time I go out there, I hold my breath, scared that the place has maybe closed. Thank goodness they are still open! The young lady that waited on me was fantastic.“

“I had a wonderful experience with VS Doggy Treats! I reached out through their website and Swati got back to me promptly with it being right after the holidays. She is really nice and was able to have the cake ready for pickup with a 4 day turn around. The cake was affordable along with payment and pickup was being easy too! I ordered their small pumpkin/apple cake with blueberry and yogurt frosting. My pup absolutely loved her cake for her 1st Birthday! My pup and I highly recommend this great family business and we'll be back for more! :)“

“I wasn’t disappointed in the pizza - it was very good, but with this being my first time ordering from there, I was disappointed that the pizza wasn’t hot. You can’t call in to order and have to order online. It tells you a pickup time. We arrived exactly at the pickup time and the pizza was warm but not hot. The app doesn’t seem to properly track the order, as it said the order was not yet even being prepared when we tried to track it (pizza was ready). I’m not sure if I’ll go back for this reason.“

“We've purchased various goods from the store twice this fall and everything is delicious. The apple pie is addicting. The apple cider is the best I've ever had. They have an awesome selection of fresh apples. Despite the crowds, the check out line moves quickly and parking is organized.“

I loved how they had all of the ingredients listed for each item. Too many items were prepared in corn oil, but I was still able to find plenty of corn free items.

“I worked here for 10 years in the industrial Engineering department (Maintenance). Compared to other companies in the industry the salary is kind of low, but for anyone looking to start a career in this field it’s probably the best option there is. They will accept anyone who is willing to work and learn and they will train you. Most people spend a few years learning the trade and then move on to make more money. Myself included. I don’t understand why ownership would allow their best guys to leave that way rather than structuring something to compensate them for all their experience and skill, but that’s just how it is there. This is not to say you can’t make a decent living there because you can, but just not what could be made elsewhere. The high pace makes for a great learning environment. It’s extremely hot there, but most places are. That place will always be like a second home to me. I loved working there. If they could match my salary I would go back. That will never happen though for reason I’ve explained here already. They have extremely good benefits compared to anywhere else. Cheapest and great coverage. 401k is kind of low. Overall, best place for low experience people and a great place to work, but not somewhere to expect $100k a year or more. I always send people to them for jobs still and I’ve been gone for a couple years now. It’s just a great place to work.“

“We held a luncheon for family and friends after a special event and could not have been happier with how it went. We called ahead a.few minutes before all 15 of us showed up and the staff didn't skip a beat. They graciously and quickly got us seated by combining tables together. Our waiter Noah was kind, patient and efficient throughout our visit. He even took a group photo for us. Everyone found delicious options off the menu and the out of towners couldn't say enough about how much they enjoyed this local spot. All of our food came out in a timely matter and was just excellent! We were so grateful for the fantastic hospitality from all the staff and even the manager checked in on us to make sure everything was good. “I was a bit thrown off by how empty the store looks, but they have quality food and the owner is super friendly and helpful. I bought some Arab pantry items, spices, olives, hummus, frozen falafel. The olive oil is insanely good and very reasonably priced. I’ve always wanted to try preserved lemons so I picked them up there. The resulting cake was BEAUTIFUL and DELICIOUS. I have never eaten a wedding cake that I liked, but my groom and I went back for seconds during the cake cutting ceremony, it tasted so good.“
