We stopped by this place for a quick, nutritious lunch after a doctor’s appointment and ordered the Happy Family. The food came out fast, hot, well seasoned, and delicious. The portion was huge — big enough for me and my two little kids.
Customer service was great. The lady at the front desk was nice and friendly. The place was clean, and the restroom was too.

The bad reviews all turned out to be BS. I’m sure they have off days and some of the customers were just in a bad mood and they wanted to vent their frustrations out on somebody. It’s a good Chinese carry-out.

“Fantastic. All the dishes have a home cooked glow, rich flavor, and the feeling of special care. This is some of the best Chinese food I've had in Maryland. I just moved here from Rockville and I was sure I wouldn't find good authentic Chinese cuisine up here. I'm thrilled to be proven wrong. I'm so glad they're here. The restaurant is bright, warm, welcoming, cute, and well decorated. The staff are friendly, attentive, and sincere. We've been here four times in the three weeks since moving to Timonium. I've really enjoyed the Mala Tang, Pickled Napa Cabbage with Glass Noodles, Sautéed Triple Vegetables, any of the handmade dumplings and buns, Northeastern Eggplant in Black Bean Sauce, and Braised Beef with Potatoes. “China Moon is a superlative carry out spot! I visited for the first time and ordered simple items that I use to gauge quality. The egg rolls were large and packed with freshness. The hot and sour soup was redolent with white pepper and loaded with shoots and mushrooms. And my green beans were beautiful and plentiful. I will certainly revisit soon! “Pricey! I placed my order online. It was ready upon pick up but the hostess seemed bothered when I asked for sauce that wasn't in the bag with my order. I had the house lo mein, chicken fried rice and Mongolian beef little spicy. It served it's purpose.“

“David Chus has delicious food and incredibly kind staff. I LOVED their wonton soup and orange chicken with fried rice. “Chen's used to be my go-to Chinese Take Out spot. All of the food was great. I believe they are under new management now and they removed my favorite item from their menu, the Cold Sesame Noodles. I am sad because it was the best Cold Sesame Noodles in town and I cannot find any that matched Chen's :(“

“I’ll be honest, I was both excited and skeptical about trying Wonder when it first opened. The whole concept seemed a little strange to me, and I wasn’t sure how it would actually work. Since they were offering 50% off for first time customers when I went, I figured it was worth a try.

We ordered a pizza from Alanza, a double cheeseburger from Burger Baby, and a Build Your Own Bowl from El Diez. Funny enough, the burger, which was the item I was least excited about based on how it looked, ended up being my favorite. It was honestly one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. The pizza was a little overdone, but I actually like my pizza that way, so no complaints there. The bowl was good too, though I felt like it was missing a little something. Maybe some extra lime or cilantro would have given it more of that fresh Mexican flavor.

I’d definitely come back and try some of the other restaurants they have. I also really liked the atmosphere. It was quiet, clean, and didn’t feel chaotic, which was nice. The kitchen area looked especially clean, which always leaves a good impression.

If you’ve been curious about Wonder and are looking to try something different, I’d say it’s worth checking out, especially while they’re offering 50% off for new customers. There’s a huge variety of food options, so it’s easy for everyone in your group to find something they’ll enjoy. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised and left more impressed than I expected to be.“

“I always get the coconut shrimp, and it's not like your regular coconut shrimp; they make it like nobody else. I don't even like coconut. Still, it doesn't taste like coconut; it's so good. I made my husband and friend try it; they thought it would be nasty. Still, it shocked them both. Now they both are on it 😂😂. I sometimes get the crab Rangoon; I like the inside, but the outside gives me the pre-made ones they put in the freezer until someone orders it. I don't like that because it's chewy when it's supposed to be crunchy, but anything I had from here would be good.“

“Oriental Wok was an awesome Asian Restaurant we recently found on Buttermilk Pike in Northern Kentucky. It's a very elegant looking place with chandeliers and very nice looking decor and carpet everywhere. Despite how expensive looking the place is the prices for the food were very reasonable (at least for lunch when we were there.) We started with some Crab Rangoon which was some of the best I've ever had (them or Lin's in Cleves). For my main course I got the Sesame Chicken with fried rice and an eggroll. All of it was high level with eggroll being particularly delicious. The service was top notch as well rounding off a superb experience. We'll definitely be back and often.“

“Easy enough to call or walk in to order, but no dine in or delivery available currently. Overall, food was just fine. General tso’s had no spice at all even though the online menu denotes an * for spicy dishes. The sesame chicken and fried rice were pretty good in the lunch special. I appreciate that you can choose white or dark meat for an extra $1 for your meal. Unfortunately, the chicken wonton soup that came with the lunch special was horrible…it tasted like it was made with dish water. The sweet and sour shrimp was well fried and the portion size was fair for the price. Would return, but will be skipping the soup.“

My story I've patron this area for many years, but never this place of business ( it's the parking) (there's also a lot behind the store), but when I did!!!! It was during the lunch specials. (meals under $9 with soda and the largest portions I've ever seen) OMG I've been missing out. Not any more I'm here 3-4 tmes a week. Very very good food
Their prices 3-5+ dollars per item cheaper then any Chinese store I've patronaged.
Place is clean, people are polite, service they say ready 15mins but it's faster then that. The food always very hot.

“We could not wait to go to Towson Best to see how they remodeled the restaurant. It was closed for about a month. We went early, so we were able to get a parking spot in the rear. The first thing we noticed was the bright new paint in the hallway. When you enter the restaurant, you are greeted by a light and airy dining room. It is still divided in two with new tables on both sides. The big difference is the banquette along the wall. They have removed all the booths. They have new tables and chairs, new floor, and new lighting. They still have one TV. The sushi counter is still there along with a tea etc. counter. It was all so inviting. In addition to the remodeling, they now have expanded their menu to include Ramen, Bun and a variety of Bubble and fruit teas plus more. We decided on the lunch special, which included a spring roll and your choice of white or fried rice. Mona, our server, was very attentive and welcoming. The owner remembered us and came over to say hello – very thoughtful. My husband ordered the Shrimp with Cashews. However, when it came, it had green and red peppers in it, which he cannot eat. Mona very quickly took it back, and they gave him a new order. I had the Shrimp Chow Fun which is wide Chinese noodles in a delicate sauce with nice size shrimp. We both really like the ambience of the new restaurant and our lunches.“

My critiques firstly go toward the boba—although some drinks are good, some tea is brewed with a little too much leaves or they end up not adding enough sugar. Not bad though. “Overall, this is my favorite Chinese spot in all of Baltimore. If you ask me, they have the best food from fried yak, lo mein, egg rolls, steamed shrimp, egg foo young etc. you name it they do it good…. I always order the beef fried yak with extra onions and add broccoli and I tell them to make it spicy, but not too spicy cause sometimes they can get carried away. Everything always taste amazing..the beef is always fresh the yak noodles are always thick and dark skin just like I like them. I also ordered the combo platter that had fried rice and lo mein, which was good as well. I ordered a side of shrimp toast, and the shrimp toast was fried perfectly and they also give you hot mustard, which is my favorite combo to put on top of shrimp toast lastly I ordered a shrimp egg roll, which was pretty good. Nothing to run and rave about but I can say they do give you nice sized shrimp and they do not skimp on the shrimp….. overall I will tell you to try this place if you like good hood Chinese food“

“I live within walking distance of this place but somehow never tried it. I decided to stop in on a random weekend to get shrimp egg foo young and a:soup. Lots of places I’ve been to recently do not serve EFY with gravy, they use brown sauce which I can’t stand!! This place used gravy. It was SO good! I also opted for jumbo shrimp because the woman on the phone asked if I wanted that or baby shrimp. Yes it was more expensive but it was worth it. The soup was also delicious. The customer service was excellent as well. I definitely recommend.“
