“After moving from Florida I have been tirelessly searching for a good taco place in Maryland. I was so happy to find Tacos A La Madre! When you go inside it is very under decorated, but clean and they have a good sense of branding with their black and yellow color scheme. The tacos are amazing, flavorful, and consistent every time I go. The ingredients taste fresh. If I had to choose a favorite, it would be the shrimp tacos and the birria tacos! 🌮 This is our new go-to taco place. You have to go- you won’t be disappointed.“

“The first time I came here with friends I got the Old Bay fries and stayed for about an hour. The fries were good, but it didnt seem like they tossed them in the seasoning, just dumped it on, so it was concentrated in some spots and lacking in others. The second time I came, it was after 10:30, and I was turned away at the door because they start checking IDs at that time. Apparently they won't give people Xs or stamp their hands, they just don't let you come in if you're under 21. Not appreciated, and I hope they consider adjusting that policy as a respectable establishment on the block.“

“Habanero’s is between the College Park Metro stop and campus. We saw it, evoked memories of one in Arizona with same name. We ordered Chicken Tinga Tacos, Chicken Taco, Beef Taco along with a Beef Tounge Taco along with Guacamole & Chips. Food was good, flavors top notch, service efficient and pleasant. Only observation was the portion of Guacamole was ‘light’ for $8.00. If back in College Park would return.“

“Food was pretty good, service was good and very hospital, I only got a burrito with a soda but I liked it, the burrito had a small plate for some reason, the chips and salsa they had were good but the salsa was pretty much watery, would go again pretty just be careful with where you sit they have this elevation so if your on the edge it’s easy to forget your elevated“

“Traveling from Massachusetts, this was our first time at Taqueria Al Lado II — and it absolutely blew us away. We started with chips, guac, salsa, and queso — every dip was fresh and bursting with flavor. The tacos (beef and carnitas) were phenomenal, each with distinct, authentic seasoning. The quesabirria was rich and cheesy, and the rice rounded the meal off perfectly. Bruno, our server, was outstanding — friendly, fast, and genuinely made the experience better. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and for the quality of food, the prices are unbeatable. Easily a 5-star stop. We’ll be talking about this place back in MA.“

“An Absolutely Delightful Experience! ??I've been driving past the 3 Hermanos food truck several times, always tempted by the tantalizing aromas but never stopping. Yesterday, I finally gave in to the craving and boy, am I glad I did!I ordered a shrimp taco bowl and a beef burrito, and the lovely lady in the truck was incredibly pleasant. She took my order with a smile and said it would be ready in 15 minutes. When I received my food, it looked absolutely mouth-watering, and the taste did not disappoint!Both the burrito and the shrimp taco bowl were incredibly well-balanced and full of flavor. The shrimp was cooked to perfection, and the seasoning on the beef was simply divine. We really had an awesome experience, and we'll definitely be visiting 3 Hermanos more frequently now.One thing to note about the burrito – the white sauce was delicious, but be careful .... Overall, I highly recommend 3 Hermanos for an authentic and delicious Mexican food experience. The friendly service and incredible flavors make it a must-try for anyone in the area!

“Nice restaurant in Adams morgan, the food was prepared and brought quickly. The tacos were 4.75$, and they were simple but good. I believe the meat tacos were better than the vegan ones, especially the carnitas and chicken tacos.

“This is absolutely one of my favorite places to go! The Roost was my go to during the pandemic with tons of outdoor seating. Since it was in my neighborhood we frequented a lot. The staff watched my little one practically grow up there! It became our meeting place and neighborhood watering hole. Quick and efficient and some of the best food and customer service! We’ve moved from the area but always stop by when in town because it feels like home!“

“I spent a couple hours here because my flight was delayed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My Cosmos were perfectly pink. (If they’re clear and red they’re not made correctly) and only $6 during Happy Hour. I’m not a big fan of Mexican food, Cosmos I ordered the Bora Bora marinated chicken without the tortilla over rice. It was delicious! The chicken was so tender and tasty and all the flavors were wonderful. I also enjoyed watching the surfers on TV,. The waves relaxed me instead being stressed out over a delayed flight. “Best experience ever, thank you! My soon to be 5 year old daughter wanted to go to Bar Taco for her birthday dinner this past Saturday evening. Not surprisingly as it was prime time on a Saturday they had a decent wait but she was determined. The hostess was kind and made sure to keep us updated on where we were on the list while continuously checking how close the tables were to clearing out while also letting my 2 girls pick out full size coloring books. Once we got a table the hostess danced with my daughters to the table. As soon as we sat down the manager came by and said “I heard we have a birthday being celebrated here?” In such a way that really made her feel like a princess. He then brought both my daughters free Shirley Temples and apologized for the wait. After we finished eating the same manager brought both girls free ice cream and comped our dessert we ordered. To top it all off they stopped the girls on the way out and gave them Bar Taco sunglasses, stickers, and a bandana. Thank you making an amazing birthday celebration for my daughter and making this solo dad look cool and like he actually knows what he is doing when it comes to celebrating his girls. I doubt she will ever want to go anywhere else for her birthday dinner.“
