“On 12 Dec, I visited the IHOP O'Donnell drive in forestville Maryland, this was the first time that I have experienced such poor service. I placed my order with the waitress Joybeth: a brown crispy waffle with the butter melted on the side, a Salisbury steak with onions and mushrooms in gravy and a cup of featured cocoa. I asked that my food and drink be bored out all at the same time. That did not happen... I first received a waffle that was not full and wasn't completed with butter cold on top, then I had to wait another 10 minutes for the Salisbury steak. So by the time my food came the waffle was cold I sent it back. When I finally got all my food I still had not received my beverage. I watched this young lady go to other tables... one guy asked for butter and he got it just like that. Another one asked for napkins, they got the napkins just like that, so I'm still waiting on my cocoa to go with my food. By the time I started eating the steak was cold. I left a dollar tip. Worst service I ever had in my years going to IHOP“

“This location is always polite, consistent, and delish!! I sat outside on the patio during my lunch break and within minutes a double cheeseburger was delivered to me. The burgers are not overly rich or heavy. I don't feel like I need a nap after I eat one either which is huge!“

“I went with a friend to The Capital Burger on Newbury last week. The space was clean and comfortable, our server was really friendly, and the food came out fast. Great experience—I’d come back without a second thought.“

“Gotta tell you about Nick's pizza...it should be a DC institution. The pizza was near perfect 👌🏾, chef's kiss. The crust was fresh and deliciously complemented the also fresh ingredients...we will go back. If you want the best pizza, it's Nick's Pizza DC!“

“About a mile from the convention center walking, didn’t realize it was inside the WF. There’s seating available going up a few stairs after ordering/picking up. Ordered a cheeseburger and sweet potato fries - they were good but I may have over done it today. I got crazy and got BBQ sauce, tasty with a tad of spice. I enjoyed my meal and service was friendly. I’d maybe come back but not a fan of it being inside of WF.“

Portions also run a lot smaller than I expected. At first, I was put off by this, but after actually eating, I found I was much more satisfied than I was expecting, so only a watchout there. “This place is great. Ordering process on the device is simple and easy. The milkshakes are super high quality. They’re very thick. I’ve tried the Oreo funnel cake one and also the final chocolate one. I’ve tried the smoky classic BBQ burger and the smoke shack. Both were great. Definitely recommend this place if you’re ever in the college park area.“

Food is amazingly good! I got a Classic Smashburger and was floored by the flavor. Just be sure to use napkins The fries are fantastic and normally I hate waffle fries but these were some of the best fries I've had in a while. The sauces that came with it were great.

My father got some peri peri chicken (hot) and that was also delicious. No one at the table had anything bad to say about the food.

Dude running the register was super nice and gave us tons of sauces for free. He was very attentive to us and personable.“

“Quality of basic is top notch from O-rings to the burgers to the salad. There’s something for everybody. Jamie the owner is very personable and if you’re new, gives great recommendations for food or drinks. Basic has the best cocktail menu in the whole square. I recommend the Chicago dog or the burger but if you can make it on the weekends the bagel sandwiches are delicious and everything is reasonably priced.“

“Wow....I was hungry waiting for someone to arrive at Union Station and decided to try Z Burger. Never had one so this was a first for me. The Staff was helpful and patient with my ordering. The selections and options were plentiful for a Fast Food operation...cheese steaks, hot dogs, turkey and plant based burgers. I ordered the double bacon cheeseburger and the half/half Onion Rings and Fries. Boy-o-Boy. I was very pleasantly surprised. This wasn't Fast Food but a gourmet burger you.might get from a fancy restaurant. First, the burger was top quality beef pressed into action right in front of you. Cooked, it had the right amount of texture, grease and taste. Then the melted American Cheese tasted like REAL CHEESE. On top of the routine lettuce and tomato, I added jalapeño peppers and onions which were both generously chunky, tasty and aromatic. The fries and onion rings were hot and crispy, perfectly complimenting the delicious burger.
I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS Z BURGER AND THEY SHOULD EXPECT A REPEAT CUSTOMER.“

“Solid, casual burger spot right on H. Had the Wagyu burger and fries and both were on point. Made to order so everything was fresh and delicious. The Wagyu is a $13 burger but you’re paying for the premium ingredient and the smash burger was cooked perfectly. Hit it up on a week night and it was chill and staff was super nice. Will definitely hit up again when craving a smash burger. This would also definitely work for a delivery order too.“

From the moment we sat down, they were both friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. They anticipated everything we needed, kept our drinks filled, and made great recommendations from the menu.

“Yes! I love the concept. I love how it’s a hand made patty and the burger was cooked perfectly. In addition, you have an option to add items to your burger if you do the build your burger option. You can also choose their preselected choices which look really good. I chose to add sautéed onions, bacon, and Italian sausage. I will say although the Italian sausage was good, I wouldn’t add it again; it didn’t hurt the burger overall. You choose your seasoning (I chose basic), sauce (house bbq), lettuce and tomato. I also ordered the seasoned fries (garlic parmesan). I was curious so I asked for the spicy ranch. It was pretty good.“

“We went to the restaurant down at the wharf….. To start, the hostess at the front was on her phone and not really paying any mind to the people walking in the door. Come to find out after that was the floor manager. Then we get sat and none of the workers talk about who is in charge of that section. We did. It get me is or silverware. The very nice bartender comes up, gets us some water and menus gets us started and finally the sever comes over to us. The server took our order and checked on us twice. When the food was brought to the table we still didn’t have silverware and had to ask the food runner. Our server had a a ten top when we arrived and she was checking on her the whole time not paying any mind to the other tables she has. It was to the point I had to go up to someone ask for water refill bc both our glasses were empty. We finish our meals that were very good and no one but the bartenders are on the floor. I see our sever walk over to the restroom, she comes out looks at us and sees that we are sitting doing nothing, then walks over to a new 10 top and disappears. It’s at thing point I now have to walk over to the bartender and get our check and they are the ones that cash us out. Thank you to the bartender that took care of us“
