“That have wonderful sandwiches!!! Everything is fresh and so delicious. l low their rare roast beef and their Friday salmon sandwich special.. Their breakfast sandwiches are always a great way to begin the day!“

“Worked in adjacent building for a few years before the pandemic, and then switched jobs, and now am down the road. Starting the day with a breakfast sandwich from the Merriweather Cafe & Deli would sustain me the entire day sometimes, and the staff there are very friendly, which also adds to starting off the day nicely. I hadn't been there in a while and was glad to see they are still open. NOTE: There is no big sign on the building. There is a glass door on the first floor (by the main upper parking lot entrance) and just has a sign saying Merriweather Deli and their hours. Enjoy!

Parking: Parking in the garage is the considerate thing to do versus parking along the side of the courtyard. It isn't that much farther, and if you drive electric there are Chargepoint EV chargers there.“

“I recently ordered a Turkey Bacon BLT sandwich, and it was delicious! The combination of turkey bacon, crisp lettuce, and juicy tomatoes hit all the right notes😌. The only thing I’d change next time is to ask for the bread to be toasted—it would have added that extra crunch. Still, the sandwich was fantastic, and the staff were super polite and attentive. Definitely a spot I’ll return to!“

“We came in on a whim & so glad we did. We were seated immediately & greeted warmly by an amazing waitress. Food was brought out quickly & was such a good serving size. Delicious eggs Benedict & the hollindaise was amazing! My fiancé had the biscuits & gravy & was so happy with his food. Excellent portions & such a wonderful place. Can’t wait to come back again!! “My family and I dined here twice, and our experiences were quite different. On our first visit, the setup was confusing. Menus were placed in a stand away from the ordering counter, and we weren’t informed that silverware, drinks, and condiments were self-serve. I had to ask around to find everything, which was frustrating. I tipped, though in hindsight, I’m not sure why given the self-service model. However, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was pleasant, which made up for the initial confusion.

We returned on 5/16, hoping for another great meal, but this visit was disappointing. My son’s eggs were missing cheese, and my breakfast lacked sausage. When I asked about the missing items, the staff acted as though I was doing something wrong, which felt unwelcoming. Additionally, my over-medium eggs were well-done, with only one yolk in what seemed like a double egg white. When I brought this to the counter, the cook dismissively said, “I’m not doing it, give it to someone else.” Thankfully, the manager stepped in, apologized, and promptly addressed the issue. Unfortunately, the replacement eggs were undercooked, and by then, the rest of my meal had gone cold.The issues seemed to stem from the cook on duty that day, who may have been having an off day. It was disappointing after such a great first visit.

While the food has potential, the inconsistent service and poor handling of mistakes on the second day left a negative impression, but I'd definitely give them another try in the future.“
