“Worked in adjacent building for a few years before the pandemic, and then switched jobs, and now am down the road. Starting the day with a breakfast sandwich from the Merriweather Cafe & Deli would sustain me the entire day sometimes, and the staff there are very friendly, which also adds to starting off the day nicely. I hadn't been there in a while and was glad to see they are still open. NOTE: There is no big sign on the building. There is a glass door on the first floor (by the main upper parking lot entrance) and just has a sign saying Merriweather Deli and their hours. Enjoy!

Parking: Parking in the garage is the considerate thing to do versus parking along the side of the courtyard. It isn't that much farther, and if you drive electric there are Chargepoint EV chargers there.“

“I used to get food from their Charter Drive location all the time, and when it closed I was so disappointed , until I found them again at Lakeside Deli! I’m so happy I can start my day with their breakfast again. They even know my order as soon as I call in, which makes it feel so personal. The food is always great, and the team is incredibly friendly. So glad I found them again! So convenient also!“

“We came in on a whim & so glad we did. We were seated immediately & greeted warmly by an amazing waitress. Food was brought out quickly & was such a good serving size. Delicious eggs Benedict & the hollindaise was amazing! My fiancé had the biscuits & gravy & was so happy with his food. Excellent portions & such a wonderful place. Can’t wait to come back again!! “Went with my mom & adult son after shopping. We like the atmosphere and food - it has been a few years since we ate here and it is still good. Fresh salads, flavorful quiche, nice soups & drinks. I wish they still had their bread, butter & jelly readily available, you can still get it, but they just give you a piece or two. I think covid shut that down. Their baked deserts are really good!“

My thoughts : it's comfort food, simple, and filling. Erroneously labeled "mall Chinese" in my household, we keep coming back. If only the mall stayed open past 8pm.“

“Bill‘s hazelnut cream coffee beans are the best! We have moved all over Maryland and even to Florida over the past decade, but continue to have him ship us 4 pounds at a time. I’m not sure we’d be able to get up in the morning without it! Wonderfully responsive service.“
