“Wow.. I read reviews before stopping.. they had a great rating so we stopped. The service was suburb.. The food was surprisingly fresh and DELICIOUS!! The crab cakes had lumps of crab meat in them and they had some filler but that did not take away from the deliciousness Everything was amazing“

One member of our party arrived and had the table reserve the wait was 30 minutes, took that long for the rest of us to arrive; when we did we were seated rather fast. The crab bomb stole the show, best any of us ever had. Second runner up the crab soup also the baked potatoe was well portioned and was not dried out. The haddock was fried to perfection, and the cake dessert oh my, I ordered dessert to go, When I later dugged into the lemon pound cake each morsel was delicious, as if it was home made. Over all an excellent dining experience, a little pricey but was worth every single dime, we will return.“

“I have been a patron at McGarvey's for years. I love your food and service. However, first time I have a complaint. I was anxious to try the crab balls, as pictured in your menu. Although they weren't horrible, they looked nothing like the picture on your menu, very disappointed. I expected pieces of white crab meat and we got very crusted, fried little round balls. I bragged to my grandson about the picture on your menu and it was certainly not what we got. I must say, it is the first thing I have been disappointed with. Either change the picture or take them off your menu.“

“I ordered 2 dozen XL crabs today, and when I went to pick them up, there was only 1dozen crabs on my order. After speaking with the young lady who took my order, she remembered taking the order, but inadvertently put in the wrong amount.
She immediately told me to go home with the aforementioned 1dozen, and that she would deliver the second dozen to my home personally.
You do not get this type of service anywhere else.
The crabs were delicious, heavy, and packed. I’m sorry I didn’t get her name, but just assumed she was the manager.
I’ve been getting my crabs here for years. It is the only place I go for carry out, and will continue to do so.

“Perfect seating ~ lots of light & view of the water.Unusual preparation of calamari, not the usual tempura batter, but very tasty, & healthy, with shredded carrots, chopped celery & radish. The shrimp salad on croissant was delicious as usual, and cream of crab 🦀 soup ~ delivered in error and kindly offered to us to keep ~ was one of the best I've had ~ creamy, not too spicy. Only ‘complaint' was the prickly pear margarita was in a very small cocktail glass, not the more generous margarita glass. Christine was friendly & attentive.“

Most recently went with friends on a double date & everyone was very nice, especially the kind lady who took our order (in the area where you order crab cakes & desserts). She was very patient taking our large order. Food has always been very good. “We hosted our family from multiple states and Europe for Christmas dinner on Christmas Day in the 18-Century Ballroom upstairs and could not be more pleased.

The GM was extremely accommodating and communicative. The event-day staff was professional and outgoing. The food was top notch. There were no surprises. The event went as planned, and I was complimented by practically every guest about how amazing the place, experience, and food was.

If you're looking for a unique experience for a catering event with a reasonable price tag....this is the place.“

It's the best and the people that work here in Pasadena are the sweetest most accommodating out of all of them. I love the atmosphere, the cleanliness, the service and the food. The manager "Ben" is fantastic too!“

The ingredients tasted fresh and high quality, and you could tell a lot of care went into each plate. Service was prompt and friendly, and our server made great recommendations from the menu. While not a very traditional sushi place, it still has great food and a nice ambience. Outdoor seating was great at the time and our waitress Ms. Becca was wonderful.

Miso soup was pleasant and filling. The edamame was, well, edamame, but nonetheless a good opener. Avocado salad was a little dry and uninspiring, but the flavor was decent, especially in tandem with the pine nuts.

The star of the appetizers, however, was definitely the yomato's tofu, which is always my friends and families' go-to. It's a little sweet, very crispy on the outside, with the savory taste of bonito flakes and soy wrapping the dish together; it's very filling and shareable as well, and definitely my biggest suggestion.

We tried the Kamikaze, Metropolitan, and Miami rolls. Of them, the Kamikaze was just fine; however, we enjoyed the Miami rolls and the Metropolitan was our favorite.“

My wife and I came back just four weeks after our first visit, and once again, it did not disappoint!
The chef, as always, prepared our custom smoked salmon and salmon skin sushi to perfection. As a fun bonus, they even gave us sushi stickers afterward!
This is hands down the most accommodating and satisfying sushi spot in the area.

Best place for a huge family crab feast... out door area boast a humongus area with lots of tables (shaded) and a playground! Who knew all that was back there? Cant tell from a drive by. Also a great place to watch the game~“

“The Annapolis Crab sandwich was really good! And we also tried the soft sell crab special sandwich and it was super crispy and nice !!! True crab meat with nice sauces and fries.
