“I have been a patron at McGarvey's for years. I love your food and service. However, first time I have a complaint. I was anxious to try the crab balls, as pictured in your menu. Although they weren't horrible, they looked nothing like the picture on your menu, very disappointed. I expected pieces of white crab meat and we got very crusted, fried little round balls. I bragged to my grandson about the picture on your menu and it was certainly not what we got. I must say, it is the first thing I have been disappointed with. Either change the picture or take them off your menu.“

“Yesterday was my first time there, myself and a party of five. One member of our party arrived and had the table reserve the wait was 30 minutes, took that long for the rest of us to arrive; when we did we were seated rather fast. The crab bomb stole the show, best any of us ever had. Second runner up the crab soup also the baked potatoe was well portioned and was not dried out. The haddock was fried to perfection, and the cake dessert oh my, I ordered dessert to go, When I later dugged into the lemon pound cake each morsel was delicious, as if it was home made. Over all an excellent dining experience, a little pricey but was worth every single dime, we will return.“

Crab dip, mussels, ceviche, crab cakes (which we used the sauce to dip our fries bc the crab cakes were perfect as they were...all crab, very little filler). The service was incredible especially given how busy it was. We will be back again soon!“

“Went there today to get a large female crabs. And they were the best crabs. I've had in a very long time. I wanna think. The guy at the front desk, I forget his name, but he was great. Most recently went with friends on a double date & everyone was very nice, especially the kind lady who took our order (in the area where you order crab cakes & desserts). She was very patient taking our large order. Food has always been very good. This past time there was more shells than normal in the crab dip & crab cakes, but taste wise, as always, very good 👍🏼 Would definitely recommend & we will definitely go back, again & again.“

“What a wonderful experience. I arrived at this restaurant for their happy hour on Saturday. It was busy but we were able to sit at a table in the bar area. “Fatboys crab shack (the original location) is always a great spot for seafood, crushes and chill atmosphere. We love the firecracker shrimp and the fish platter. We would’ve gotten the crabs but they had sold out (it was a busy Friday evening). Staff is always friendly and the kitchen and bartenders are quick. Only downside that we personally have is the good food draws flies while eating, but that comes with the territory of sitting outside. Definitely a local fave.“

“We went to don chicos this weekend off of Riva rd and Truman parkway. It was quite good and had very flavorful offerings. The recipes were authentic carribean and Venezuelan and Cuban styles. This is probably going to be the best Cuban sandwich in all of Annapolis. Being as we have so many Mexican food places. Don chicos is a. Ice and unique option. The owners tools some time to talk with us nd share their story , which was very nice and friendly. We will be going back for sure and will try out more of their menu.
