“Food was excellent. Our group of four had sea bass, halibut and neck of lamb. All of these dishes were outstanding. We had the flaming cheese as an appetizer; two of us loved it, two thought it was too salty. Our server Zach was outstanding! I got 2 apps from here so for what it’s worth- the order got misunderstood over the phone so don’t be like me and ALWAYS CHECK your orders (from anywhere) before you leave on pick up. I was kinda rushing so didn’t and got bone in instead of boneless wings like asked. They were awesome about it and gave a gift card to come in and get my boneless order next time. I did yesterday and the chicken was quality. Not saucy, more dry rub (I got the Buffalo spicy) but I just know to ask for saucy next time that’s all! The pretzel bites tasted pretty processed like the ones you could get from the frozen section- and the cheese dip for them too. “Visited La Gula at my son's request. We'd had terrible Mexican food at another restaurant days ago which left us very disappointed. La Gula did not disappoint! We both ordered tacos and there was ample meat, the flavors were fresh, well seasoned and delicious. I'll definitely be back.“
“Nice addition to the Lisbon/Woodbine/Mount Airy scene. Food is good and portions are large, although I would not call the menu refined; mainly comfort food with weekly specials. There is live music in the evening late in the week and on weekends, which is fun but makes talking on the bar side of the venue rather difficult. Fortunately, there is another side of the establishment, which is a quieter and more family-friendly sit-down restaurant. The wait staff is attentive and cordial and the rest of the crew is helpful. This is not what I would call a country hangout or biker bar at all. But it is quite common for older bikers with expensive Harleys show up to relax. This is a load and friendly pub/restaurant and I can recommend it as a fun place to meet up. There seems to be an outdoor patio with fireplace under construction.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome on the restaurant side.Wheelchair accessibility: One floor. Seems wheelchair friendly.“

“My significant other and I went there for lunch today and sat on the patio. It’s a beautiful restaurant, we were sat immediately and the food came out quick. The food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. Portions were huge! You really get what you paid for and they did not disappoint. The server Lexi was adorable and super sweet. She wasn’t overbearing and checked on us between entrees to make sure everything was good. She was attentive and friendly. I highly recommend this place and Lexi! ?“

“I met a friend for lunch here and we really enjoyed it. The nachos were everything I wanted at a portion size that made sense of the price. They’re great for sharing with ample, generous toppings. The salad topped with steak did not disappoint either. My kid has allergies to carrots and they kindly substituted carrot sticks for celery sticks with her kids Mac-n-Cheese. I didn’t want to give her fries for a double carb so the substitute was much appreciated.The atmosphere was relaxed and the service was great. “A group of retired teachers meet once a month for lunch! Today we met here! Albeit, snow covered the links so no golfers but... the food was LEGIT! Crab cakes with Jumbo lump! My salad was crisp, fresh, yummy grilled chicken, shaved parm, and top notch dressing! And the grapefruit crush was freshly squeezed! Thomas, our server, was beyond accommodating! And John, the manager, made a point to come out and greet us! Will most definitely return!“
“Had reservation on Saturday night so wait was minimal. Staff was super friendly and waiter was quite knowledgeable about extensive menu. I had spinach and artichoke dip, which was fantastic and certainly large enough to share. I then had mushroom ravioli, and the rest of my group had prime rib, steak and salmon. Everything was extremely tasty and you can't go wrong with anything mentioned. Also had several desserts which again were terrific. Highly recommend GrillMarx as it was wonderful.“

“I ordered from the Valentines special and was very disppointed. The Shrimp bsque didn't have any shrimp in it or even a shrimp flavor. It was also too spicy to eat and I like spicy food. The Mahi was very bland. I normally like the food here but I need to say that if I only based a recommendation on last night I would not recommend this restaurant“
“My kid has celiac (gluten free mandatory) our server went to the kitchen 5 times to check if her food option would be OK. Turns out they didn't have the ability to cater to her needs. The manager brought prepackaged applesauce for her. We didn't end up eating, but the care the staff shows for their customers is incredible. Great place, cool atmosphere, great people.“
