“I love this place! They have a bunch of local and craft beers on tap and one of the best selections of beers for retail in the area. If there is a beer you are looking for but can’t find, as long as the county sticks it, Ashish (the fabulous, friendly owner) will order it. The store is very clean and bright, I never have trouble finding parking, and the prices are on par with other stores. In the wine side of things, there is a good variety and prices seem a little lower than other area stores.“

“This is an adorable wine bar- everyone is very nice and professional and they absolutely know their wine styles - it just feels like it caters a bit too much to older folks but could really attract more millennials with some improvements. With Rockville/Kensington becoming younger and younger there is a lot of potential to bring in more business if they remodeled a bit and boosted the atmosphere (better music, more talkative staff, maybe some wine-special events like a “Pinot noir night” or themed around highlighting specific regions…or trivia is always safe). “My husband and I decided to stay here overnight during our drive home from a beach vacation. I am covered in mosquito bites and am just miserable. I couldn’t wait to take a shower. Well let me tell you, I have NEVER taken a shower as good as the shower I just took in this hotel. It scratched every mosquito bite on my body simultaneously and felt so amazing. The provided toiletries smell like I just stepped out of a spa. The towel was fluffy but not linty. The water pressure was immaculate. The temperature was consistent and easy to set to the perfect amount of hotness. And my skin doesn’t feel like it’s been stripped of all of its moisture like it does after a shower at most hotels. I will only stay at this chain from now on if they’re all like this. I need to know how to get this at home. I’m serious. Best shower of my life.“

“I consider Jackie and the crew at Hook & Reel Wheaton to be friends of mine. I work close by and pop in at the bar often. The Happy Hour, which starts at 1PM (yes, you read that correctly) has insanely low prices, and the "pour" on both glasses of wine and cocktails are unmatched. Great ambience, clean as a whistle, a ton of regulars at the bar and a Touchtunes jukebox on the wall to bring your own soundtrack with you. What's not to LOVE about this place? 🍷🍹🥂🍻🦀“

“Lunch with small group on a quiet winter weekday no one else in the place. My steakhouse burger was nicely cooked but non-memberable. The place did provide me with the option for a side salad instead of fries, which was made with fresh greens and very tasty. My friend was able to get her burger on gluten-free bread, and they nicely put her accompanying fries on a separate plate for the rest of us to nosh on.“

“I pick up dinner at Strings once a week. My favorites are the wings (dry rub), blackened salmon, and the crab cake dinners. They have never disappointed me on the quality of the food.“

The Ravini Politiko, coconut cake was the best I ever ate! The Thalissina, seafood pasta had plenty of seafood in it and delicious. Even the cappaccino was delicious, very smooth, no bitterness and taste great with dessert! The server, Baris, was attentive, friendly and did a great job taking care of us. Great place to eat, homemade dishes and desserts! Highly recommend it. I will be back!“

Probably might be the best Beef Tibs I ever tasted and so tender. Just might have set a new standard. Waitress was friendly, host was friendly. It was truly a vibe that I needed.“

“Every thing we had was so delicious. We started with genmaicha tea as it was a chilly day and then ordered appetizers.
The
tea was perfectly roasted and cozy. We had the rock shrimp and fried sweet potato- lightly fried and full of flavor. Next I had the salmon teriyaki and friend has Ramen. “My favorite place to dine at Rio. This place is always packed, so pack some patience if you have to wait. I enjoy their house beers- especially the House IPA, House Lager and House Golden Pilsner. For appetizers, can’t go wrong with their poke nachos, probably their signature dish. Other favorites are their wings and Jumbo pretzels.

The menu is huge so there is something for everyone. My favorites are the Lobster Garlic Noodles, Stacked Turkey Club, Cobb salads and cheesesteak.

Their happy hour deals are pretty good. They do have a waitlist you can join on their app. Hard to believe this used to be a Romano’s Macaroni Grill.“

“worst service ever. My family and I actually had to walk out and we were a group of 10. They did not want to serve us and I was told I should of made reservations. I watched the waitress/server clean other people’s table and completely ignore us. A customer who was a regular had to wipe down my table for us (I should’ve walked out then )but we drove an hour to come here And we were trying to just deal with the poor customer service so we can eat. Customers that were seated after us were able to order before us and receive their food. when we finally had the opportunity to order food we were told that they were out of oxtails pork and fish which made no sense because people were still ordering takeout for the same items we were trying to order.. You would think we were sitting there for free meals. The waitress told me she was going to the back to check to see what they have but when she came back she went to the bar area and started taking someone else’s orders and completely ignored us .We ended up walking out with no apology given. She Just looked at us as if she was happy to see us go because she couldn’t handle a table size of 10 people. All we were trying to do was support our Haitians. Its a shame we were treated so poorly. I suggested this restaurant to my family who drove an hour to be treated so poorly .Do not visit this restaurant“

“I had such a great experience at Mosaic Cuisine! We absolutely loved everything about it. The atmosphere is cozy, clean, and very chic — a really pleasant place to sit and enjoy a meal.

We ordered the Breakfast Mosaic and a Nutella waffle with fresh strawberries and banana, and both were amazing. Everything was super tasty and beautifully prepared. The hash browns deserve a special mention — honestly the best hash browns I’ve had in my entire life! Perfectly crispy and full of flavor.

The coffee and strawberry lemonade were also amazing - fresh and delicious!! The only thing I didn’t personally care for was their syrup, but that didn’t take away from how delicious everything else was.

Overall, a fantastic experience. Great food and service, lovely atmosphere, and a perfect spot to enjoy with family. We will definitely be coming back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“

“Grape Escape is a unique treasure – they have a fantastic beer/wine selection, they’re a cool local hangout/bar, and they’re an intimate live music venue. The beers are perfectly cold, and the staff warm and helpful. I enjoyed Grape Escape under previous ownership and have found the new owners to be equally as gracious and completely committed to maintaining and growing its coolness. I look forward to many more years of frequenting this fun shop and gathering place!“

She know what to order though this time I ordered a humus baladi that she agreed was a step up for humus. We shared a lamb kabob, drumetyes and Bacchus salad the were all delicious. It was a Tuesday night with a number of parties but not too loud for conversation. The service was attentive and my water glass always filled as I recovered from my afternoon jog. Another delightful meal.“
