“I hosted a surprise 30th birthday for my husband at HYC last night. Everyone I dealt with from the moment I reached out to inquire about hosting an event there up until the end of the event last night were fantastic. I ordered food from the catering menu and everyone in attendance commented on how great the food was. Our bartender and server were great as well and I was checked on several times to make sure that everything was going well. We had a great time with great food and drinks and I would highly recommend hosting an event here!“

“Being honest, I had little confidence in the Seahorse Inn, but I can tell you, the food was awesome. The tuna was perfectly cooked. The salad was very fresh and crispy. The green beans seemed cooked from fresh and I thought the red potatoes were exceptionally seasoned. The crab cake was good, and this is coming from a life long Marylander. The reason I rated the inn as a 4 star (almost a 3) is because of the service. I do not fault Katie the bartender. She had 7 tables & the outside bar. Her only help was a 13 year old busboy who she constantly had to go get after bussing the table herself. This place has really excellent food. Ditch the packets of Ken’s dressing & the butter squares and get some more help. You may become that little gem people are always looking for.“

Cons: Our server was brand new and didn't know the menu or policies well so that impacted our ability to order things (but once we figured things out, the food was fantastic) and her serving skills were mediocre at best. She kept asking if we wanted more to order despite seeing we hadn't finished our course (we ordered a lot of crabs). Then when we needed her she was nowhere to be found. She brought our check before we were close to done. Felt rushed even though she said no rush she came back 3 times to check if we put our cards down.“

“Rusty Scupper was amazing. The goold was delicious but what really set them apart was how they went the extra mile for my parents anniversary dinner. I got my parents a gift card and made reservations, in the reservation saying it wasy parents anniversary celebration, could they give them a quiet table. They did that and so very much more. My mom can't stop talking about how incredible they were, how special she felt, how incredible the food was and how she had 3 wait staff, one in training but she had never felt so special in her life. Her excitement and joy makes me smile and I want everyone to know that Rusty Scupper could have set them in a nice table and said Happy Anniversary, that would have been great service but what they did was make an unforgettable memory for my parents. “We come to eat at the Rosedale location maybe once a month. Even on long waits when we are extra hungry, we always request Draven because he is a rockstar! Our drinks are never empty and requests such as extra napkins, gloves, bibs etc are always met expeditiously. We never have to wait long for food and it is always fresh and hot. Our family are creatures of habit and we typically get the same thing every time. Let’s start with the clam chowder. A generous bowl with a heaping portion of clam. We especially enjoy the crackers on the side for our picky toddler to nibble on. For dinner I always get the Cajun boil with the hook n reel blend *spicy* with sausage and hard boiled eggs as an add on. I like to get a 20 oz. draft ipa. It pairs very well with the spiciness of the boil. Our toddler usually ends up with tenders and sweet potato waffle fries. Recently she has started to eat broccoli (hallelujah!) so we get that on the side as well. For a family of 3, we spend around $130. If you request Draven, please expect to be amazed by the service and expect to tip at LEAST 20% for impeccable service. For those bad at math, 20% of $130 is $26, which I like to bump up to $30. Sorry this was so long! If you got this far, enjoy your dinner at Hook n Reel in Rosedale. We always do!“

“In July, we bought 2 bushels of crabs because we had people coming from out of state. They were the best crabs we ever had. They were really fantastic. Captain Jimmys took very good care of us. “I live in New Jersey and I have ordered multiple shipments from Kahler's regularly. I am very satisfied with the overall experience. All shipments arrived on time, were packaged will, and crabs received were as described in size when ordering. I have ordered from other sellers in Maryland and they have not been able to compete with the taste or quality. I would highly recommend ordering from Kahler's and not anywhere else. In my book Kahler's have the best crabs in Maryland for shipment and I will only be ordering from them going forward having tried multiple other places at this point. 5 stars all the way for Kahler's . “We had our daughters bridal shower their on Saturday March 4th. It was for 50 people. The food and the service was excellent. They went above, what we expected.
