“Thursday evening was my first time there. We made a reservation and were seated right away. We were there for steamed crabs. Our server immediately put our order in and brought our drinks. Our crabs came out pretty quickly. I can’t say enough about the two ladies that were serving us. They were very attentive but not to the extreme. Both were very friendly. Our crabs were excellent! Not one light crab. We will definitely go back again. If you’re looking for great food, excellent service and a very friendly atmosphere, Bird River Inn is your place to go. Their food prices are very reasonable and the portions are huge!“

“We always have the best time at Skipjacks Crab Deck. The vibe is amazing. The crabs are great and the crowd is very diverse. The bartenders are very friendly and love to banter with the customers. Emili and Kristin are our favorites. This place has a local neighborhood feel to it like Cheers. There’s even a Norm that has his own stool at the downstairs bar. Highly recommend.“

“But it smelled like pee. The whole place. We sat at one table by the door and it was really bad so we moved over a few tables. Still smelled bad but we love the food and were hungry ao we stuck it out. We used the restrooms and omg horrible. This place needs a good tile cleaning. Its like the bathroom buckets of cleaner are being mopped throughout. We wont go back“

“Had brunch there this morning and it was super yummy. The only complaint is that the bar chairs are not comfortable. I was in jeans and I was constantly sliding forward. I used my feet to push me back on and hold me there; I shouldn’t have to engage my muscles to sit in a bar chair. Other than that, it was great. Good food, good service, and good bartenders.“

“I’ve been coming here for years now as a family is always a 20 wings of fries. Hate to see the new price 🤣but at least the full quality is still the same. When I’m getting my own mail, it’s always the two piece catfish sometimes a catfish nuggets. They legs and thighs are way better than the wings but I guess that just shows I love dark meat 😅“
