The beverages were all great (coffee martini, cucumber spritz, Turkish mule.) we had a couple of appetizers (spinach pie and Turkish pizza with ground lamb), again both delicious. Trying to leave room for the generous servings was difficult; especially since we wanted to try dessert!! The lamb and chicken were both tender and cooked to perfection whether it was on a kebab or in the mixed grill. The food is delicious and not pricey, the ambiance is great, and the Peking Duck is amazing.

“Our three children and their godparents (our best friends) dined at Shi Miao Dao Noodle House to celebrate my daughter's 14th birthday yesterday. Every dish served was packed with flavor. After dinner, I mentioned that we were celebrating my daughter's birthday and they gave her a complimentary bubble tea. As we were walking out, my son ran back to the table to take two more large bites from his bowl of noodles. This morning, he asked if we could go back for lunch today! When I told my children I was writing a five-star review they shared the following reflections:

Son, age 9: I recommend the golden beef noodles. You should also get the shrimp and beef soup dumplings! Their service was awesome and fast!

Daughter, age 12: I would recommend the golden shrimp rice noodles. It's great if you can't handle a lot of spice and if you like shrimp. I would also say that the soup dumplings are the best I have ever had. The service is spectacular. This is place is the best!

“The noodle soup was so flavorful and was perfect! I had the signature dish Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup with thin noodles. The noodles are hand pulled and made fresh every day and you can tell by the excellent texture and flavor! My new favorite restaurant! Also we were honored by four songs excellently played on the baby grand piano. Thank you for a delightful dinner, perfect service, and inviting atmosphere. I highly recommend Chopin Noodle House and look forward to trying more dishes on the menu. ❤“

“This place is a cozy gem. Good prices, service and less crowded than akira. Felt more private. To talk about the food..I had the Beef ramen with veggie broth and really enjoyed it. Also the lamb and chicken kabobs were SUPER well seasoned, juicy and fresh. We never wait too long for service or even to be served. The staff is pretty nice, havent ever had an issue with them; during peak hours they do tend to get a bit visibly stressed out but its understandable since its a small buisness . I'll add food pictures the next time I come by. The decorations give the resturant a cute/ welcoming charm..it has colored lights on the ceiling along with funko pops around.

“I ordered lo mien and won ton soup and I would say they both have a different taste than what I’m used to. It’s not as mid as mall Asian food, as the noodles are actually normal size. Lots of scallions in the soup, which I like! But the won ton dough itself was hard, not soft at all.“

“Tried them for the first time today and am sold. Best Chinese food my wife and I have tasted in ages, and we lived in NYC for 4 years. Singapore mei fun - excellent. Happy family - excellent. Combination fried rice - excellent. Shrimp egg rolls - best I've ever tasted, anywhere. Steamed dumplings - very good, but the wrapping was a bit thick and the sauce was a bit scanty. “I finally had the infamous Dirty Yak Spicy with shrimp and extra egg and….I enjoyed it! It was true to its word when they said spicy which I can appreciate. Once ya nose start running…..that’s how you know it’s hot! I like the noodle consistency and texture. The ratio of noodle to shrimp was good. It was well seasoned. Great portion size for the price. The wait time was prompt. No complaints here. Look forward to trying other items on the menu in the future.“

“Returning after 30 years, I was amazed to find the same owners at Peking Chef. While the world outside has transformed, the heart of this place hasn't changed. They still serve food made with integrity and warmth.

It’s especially commendable in today's economy. Despite rampant inflation, they haven't compromised on what matters: fresh, high-quality ingredients (and no MSG!), generous portions, and incredibly fair prices. The food is as delicious as I remember.

“This low rating is Ridiculous! This is some of the best I’ve had I the city limits, and I mean that from ove the years.
I’m actually mad about the low rating, because I live close and avoided it.

I consistently go for their wontons in hot sauce (so good), their Signipore Curry Noodles, Sum Gum Wonton Soup. They do the wonton/egg drop for $1 more (or so, ask them….).

This is awesome. The food is on point. I only have seen the super nice, quiet mannered lady w working the counter, and a gentleman behind her working in the kitchen with her. Whoever this person they complained about no longer works there. I’ve had nothing but pleasant experiences and it seems most people I see in there at the same.
These are nice people and they deserve to be told so.

The food is quality, fresh, I haven’t had anything in the menu I didn’t like. I love to cook, so I don’t eat out much. And even with that, I probably stopped here 2-3 times a month, which is a lot for me eating out.

I don’t even write a lot of reviews. But these folk deserve a 4.5 rating.
They deserve the success of their hard work and quality service.

And I rally love their cheesesteak egg rolls! Can’t forget about them!

I’ve ordered from China Yum at least 8–10 times now (mostly online pickup or delivery), and it never disappoints. The portions are HUGE — one combo plate (General Tso’s or sesame chicken with fried rice and an egg roll) easily feeds me for two meals, and it’s only $9–$12. Chicken is always crispy, sauce is flavorful (nice sweet heat), rice is fresh, and veggies are cooked just right.
Online ordering is smooth, food is ready fast even during lunch rush, and the staff is friendly and gets the order right every time. Delivery through DoorDash/Uber Eats comes hot and accurate too.
