“This review is for 18th & 21st, which is by reservation only. It gives off an upscale "Love Jones" type vibe if you understand the reference. Perfect date night spot with how it's set up and the live music. The staff were fantastic and their food and drink recommendations were on point. Definitely a spot to check out.“
“We went during Baltimore Restaurant week. It was our first time there but not the last. The food was so good. Our server, Dominique, was very professional and provided recommendations which were on point. We got to meet Chef Amy, which was a nice surprise.“
“Dylan’s is Baltimore’s best oyster spot. The oyster selection is spot on, with representation for the best regions (PEI, Maine, Massachusetts, Washington state). There’s one oyster on the menu that’s particularly excellent: West Robins from New York.“
“My go-to place. Vikki and Dan are fantastic bartenders that can make delicious cocktails – just say what you’re in the mood for and they’ll whip up something you’ll enjoy. Definitely try something from the expansive tinned fish selection if you want something to eat on the lighter side. Also, the Detroit-style pizza is quite good (and this is coming from someone raised in southeast Michigan).“
“Fabulous. Went here based on others reviews and boy oh boy I certainly was not disappointed. Probably one of the best Korean restaurants I have been to-- great ambience along with top notch service and spectacular food! Looking forward to returning to try out other dishes!“
“10/10 would recommend! This is such a cute restaurant in an adorable neighborhood in Baltimore. The atmosphere and staff were very welcoming. The food was delicious and menu was different - had the best pig ears I've ever had! The coolest thing is the menu is rotating so you'll want to come back!“
“Jacob D was absolutely the best waiter we could have had! He went above and beyond to make sure we all were happy and satisfied. We will definitely ask for him when we come back!Vegetarian options: Vegan menuKid-friendliness: Our waiter made our infant feel right at home“
“Ellicott Distilling Co. is a nice little bar that has a small inside and also a decently-sized outdoor patio on the hills. They have a solid menu of cocktails, as well as some fantastically-named game and movie themed ones. All drinks tasted good, and we had some small appetizers that were fine. This place is worth checking out if you're in town and want to get a cocktail! They also have many events, so check out their lineup to see if anything is of interest (e.g., make your own infused vodka lesson).“
“This place is amazing. I really liked the atmosphere of a speak easy bar. Long secret staircase up to a top level ritzy dim lit room with greenery and chandeliers everywhere. The drinks were fancy and delicious and the happy hour appetizers were unbelievably delicious and came out super quick! I liked them so much I ended up getting a full meal too! Definitely want to bring my friends back here!Update: bar menu changed and both the temporary madness (dirty gin martini) and the beautiful one (coconut tropical nutty) were undrinkable. So disgusting. Honestly and I don’t like to waste alcohol and consider myself not picky at all. Horrible and embarrassed I took my friends here. The espresso martini was Okay.“
“Had an awesome time on a Sunday. The place is really nice and kid friendly. We played uno, darts, Mario kart as a family while Mom and Dad enjoyed the bar and enjoyed the live music. The kids had chips and juice as well. We ordered from the food truck and the wings and burgers were worth the wait. Really really good! The calamari was just ok. We enjoyed the gin options the most. I truly wish you all so much success.“
“I really want to commend Dialo and Gavin who are great employees with great customer service skills. This was my first time here and I really enjoyed it. I especially want to commend Naisha, their manager, because you’re only as good as your leader. Great experience overall.“
“I've walked past Martini Bar a ton of times but never stopped for a drink. I finally stopped by for a drink when I was flying out of BWI last month. My martini (I went with a classic dirty vodka martini, but they have a full menu of martinis and other cocktails) was good, and I really loved all of outlets for charging. The service was really good, and it was a great place to have a cocktail (or did I have two?) and do a little work or reading while waiting for a flight.“
“Y’all! I had the pleasure of going to 9Five Kitchen & Bar Friday, March 29, 2024. When I tell you this place did not miss a thing, I mean it. Location is easy to find, parking is plentiful, the staff are friendly and professional, the food is unforgettable and downright GOOD, and best of all, it is spotless! The bathrooms have seat covers with little mats in each stall. I think they check every hour because at no point did I find a messy bathroom. I had the pleasure of meeting the owners and gave them their flowers. I will definitely return and tell others, as well. They have earned our support!!!“
“Spurrier's Restaurant and Lounge has an incredible view and surroundings from both in and out. I just spent buy a day there, and I had a great moment. The surroundings were neat and there were ample parking lot. Staff were polite, professional, and helpful. They do sell snacks. A special occasion gave me the chance to visit and to explore what do they offer. You can book a reservation. Stairs and elevator are available but I prefer using my legs. You can't miss it. It's within the city, and businesses are all around. I didn't order any food from there, so I don't know how their food taste, but what I can say is that the occasion I was invited to, the food was great. The food is more traditional based on the event. But overall, the staff were excellent and they did their very best to get everyone situated and to feel at home. ?Kid-friendliness: Yes, kids are always welcome with a parent or with a guardian.Parking: Parking was free. There are ample parking lots. There are bins, recycle bins, stationed there for bottle glasses. For further questions, call the library. You can find their phone number at their website.?Wheelchair accessibility: The sliding doors are automatic for wheelchair accessibility if using the library. However, the Trail is not ideal for wheelchair accessibility.“
“Old Major is a rare and precious gem. The ladies who run the operation are so gracious and thoughtful! Everyone is made to feel welcome; and appreciated. The food is amazing, and the drink selection is huge! Old Major provides the kind of hospitality that used to be practiced more widely, but now is found only in the most special places. I feel fortunate to have found this amazing night spot!“
“We came for their Sunday brunch. Things to Note: * The restaurant is located at the Columbia Mall. There are plenty of parking spaces, but it doesnt mean they are available. Get there a little earlier to account for finding a space and walking to the restaurant. * They have patio seating, indoor seating, bar seating, and high top seating. * They have individual bathrooms vs gender specific bathrooms. Two key takeaways: a) the bathrooms were clean b) the toilet tissue was a nice texture. Food: * The Walrus Breakfast included toast, sausage, bacon, eggs, and potatoes. This is a simple yet filling breakfast. Special shout out to the potatoes. They roasted the potatoes with sun-dried tomatoes. The two ingredients together are magical. * Cornbread Waffles: The cornbread waffle was okay. The blueberry compost, graham cracker crumbs, and whipped cream made this dish very desserty and too sweet for breakfast. * Shrimp and Grits: This dish was A+. It is definitely hearty and seasoned well. * Stone Ground Yellow Grits: I ordered a side of regular grits. It was cooked the way grits is suppose to taste...savory. Very good. Bottomless cocktails Uniquely, this restaurant doesn't offer bottomless mimosas; they offer bottomless cocktails. You get to choose between four cocktails and we drank them all. Please forgive me for not writing down all the cocktail names. Know that they are distinct, made with different liquors, and are a nice collection together. The bar was really slow; so when our first drink came, we put in the order for the next drink. We experienced excellent service from our server. She was friendly, attentive, and made great recommendations. The Walrus and Ale House has officially been added to my brunch rotation. If you are in the Columbia area, come check them out.“
“Great food, atmosphere and service. Had dinner here with my wife one evening and we were very pleased with this food establishment. I had the Wet Burrito w/ Steak, Black Beans & Rice and Plantains. All were delicious. The serving staff was friendly and accommodating and the place was very lively.“
“Love this spot for takeout. The chicken pho is perfect for treating midwinter colds. The dish with the green beans is my favorite- unlike much takeout, the green beans significantly outnumber the protein, which I love because I can always use more tasty veggies. They are also consistently able to have takeout ready for pick up in 10 minutes.“
“The bartender Shanna was amazing. We are from out of town. We went there Wednesday night and liked it so much we went back Thursday night. She remembered what we drank from the night before. Her daughter is a waitress and was very kind and fun to talk to.“
“Went for dinner here for the first time and it was DELICIOUS! We got some roasted vegs, The Goat, and a classic pepperoni pizza. We were most pleased and left with pleasantly full bellies. The food was fab and the service was excellent! A perfect night out with family. We recommend this place full stop!“
“My first time here i met both of the owners they greeted me at the door. Food came out fast and it was delicious i had the Rasta Pasta and for appetizer the Honey old bay wings. The ambience and music is definitely on point me and my guest can’t wait to come back and I’m glad it’s here in Glen Burnie.“
“This place is a hidden gem. My wife and I got to the airport wayyyyy to early (3 hours too early). While looking for a place to eat we stumbled upon Sky Azure. This place has an amazing view, comfortable seating, good drink and beer selection and is very inviting. Christopher greeted us, helped us get settled and poured some great cocktails. I might just have to arrive too early more often. ?“
“The food was bland. The blandest I’ve ever tasted in my life. The Birria tacos were $10 and came with two tiny tacos and a small container of Birria sauce I couldn’t even get my taco into. No garnishes or sides or anything. Waitress never came back so had to go inside to ask for our check. She never gave us our water. Never checked in (I planned on asking for hot sauce at least to try to taste something besides sour meat) and the I truly believe the drink had zero alcohol in it. The overly iced glass not even filled $10 sangria. I will never step foot in this place again. Everything is bland and overpriced. People I was with complained of the same things. The waitress was so high she sat in the “bathroom” most the time we were there (that’s where the hostess stated she was if you ever need to find her) This is the first time in my life that the people I was with and I left with everyone not even eating a quarter of their plates and thirsty. And that says a lot seeing the tiny portions smh I miss the old restaurant that was there :(“
“went specifically for elote, which Google told me they have....(they don't) stayed anyway. service was ok, dinner was ok, but the star of the show and saving grace was an outstanding fried ice-cream. that thing was damn good and a must try if u stop in.“
“For airport food this place is pretty good! If you have time to do a sit down restaurant this one is worth stopping by especially if you are in the A terminal, but you need to have about an hour of time to spare. I really liked my salad that I got. I did dressing on the side but I think that was a mistake and I should have just gotten the sauces as is. The salad and other veggies were very fresh. The chicken was perfectly crispy! My husband got one of their chicken sandwiches. I had a bite and it was delicious! I had to take a star off though because it took them a while to seat us even though there were open tables and when they finally did they sat us at a table that hadn't been wiped down yet. Overall though visiting their airport location made me want to visit the real location especially for brunch.“
“Went out for our 23rd wedding anniversary. They'd offered a champagne service, which we declined, so we got a free dessert! Overall a very positive experience, though the use of antlers in the decor was... a bit much. The flatbread oven was broken, so we didn't get to try that.“
“A cozy corner bistro, Oxymoron gives "Cheers" vibes. The tempo of the music kept the atmosphere energetic while Bartender, Shay, was personable and attentive giving my friend and I service with a smile as we chatted and sipped. Oxymoron was a pleasant prelude to a boogie night .“
“We stopped by on a recent Saturday eve, foolishly hadn’t made reservations, and the place was packed. The awesome Host that night was kind enough to take pity & got us a table within oh, 15 minutes or less, and apologized to us for the “wait!” Food was fantastic (Bauernwurst & Falafel and of course potato pancakes) and the beers matched the food. Our server was great as well, for a busy night we never had to flag her down for refills or anything else’s. Cant wait to go back & try some other dishes!“
