“Very very DISAPPOINTING ☹️ They are good for basic Italian specialties and usually never had a problem. I am a regular customer and spend a good amount of money with them. Today was different. ordered the supposedly homemade baked penne pasta. it came sloshed in an oversized round container with only half the cheese on top and it was very runny. A monkey could have done better 😒🐒 Plenty of other places to get basic Italian 😒😒😒 I called to let them know about this and they didn't even offer to make it right 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️“

“We've been ordering from here almost daily for lunch during the week and the food is consistently great, whether we dine in, pick up, or have it delivered. The dining room is always clean and the staff is friendly. They offer Gluten Free items, which is great too. They have a good dessert selection and the chocolate mousse cake is just amazing! They also have wine and beer options too. You should definitely give this place a try! Charlie stands out - he's amazing, always respectful, and can brighten up your day. One time our order was mixed up, but he fixed it within minutes and even gave us a few extra items as a courtesy. If you're going to order, ask for Charlie and he'll take care of you. The description on Google says Italian but although they do serve some Italian , there are plenty or regular sea food and American meals as well. This time my husband had a fried oyster sandwhich with a bowl of crab bisque soup and I had crab cake sandwhich with a cup of crab bisque. All was very yummy. We ordered our desert to take home and it was so delicious.... carrot cake and peanut butter pie with a generous amount of chocolate . I was so full but my taste buds just wouldnt let me stop!“

“I had been wanting to try Cafe Gelato after hearing so many positive things, so we decided to go during Restaurant Week. I chose the Restaurant Week menu, while my husband ordered from the dinner specials. He was offered a soup or salad with his entrée, which we later realized came at an additional cost—something that wasn’t clearly explained upfront. He still enjoyed his meal overall.

The complimentary bread was delicious, but I found my meal to be somewhat underwhelming. The lobster chowder was quite bland, and I was expecting it to include noticeable pieces of lobster. The bacon sprinkled on top added some much-needed flavor.

The potato ravioli was a standout and very enjoyable. My main entrée—ricotta and lobster wrapped in homemade pasta—was decent, though again, the bacon was the highlight of the dish.

The menu gave the impression that dessert was included in the fixed price, and even our waitress acknowledged that the wording was misleading.

That said, the service was attentive, and the restaurant itself is beautiful. I’m glad I finally tried it, but it didn’t quite live up to my expectations.“

You better be hungry when ordering the Italian Entrees as the portions are huge. We always have leftovers if we each order our own. We've wisened up and will select an entree to share. The sauce on the entrees is fresh and delicious.

They are great with catering and have used them for several events. They're helpful and responsive to your needs.

The staff has always been kind and courteous to us....even in the busiest of times (place was hoping at 5pm on Superbowl Sunday .... but they were still pleasant despite being run ragged with to-go and take-out orders).“

I’ve now tried several different items and different pizzas and all of them have been delicious. You gotta try the BBQ beef cheesesteak (add extra meat and extra cheese) and BBQ chicken pizza. Wow 👍👍. I can tell they get slammed with takeout and delivery orders. Great staff. They’re my new go to.“
