“Great atmosphere!! They had different sports showing on many TV's, a quieter room with tables by a fireplace if you prefer, and even several tables in the back by the electronic darts and pool tables if you wanted to sit near them and watch family or friends play or even join in! There was also some kids dancing in the back by the darts and some up front watching the big screen TV with basketball on, great environment. Everything we ate was delicious from crab soups, French onion soup, Buffalo wings to cheese steak, pizza and just wonderful crab cakes. All the food came out pretty quickly too. I do have to say we were Amazed by our waitress who was Awesome!! Not only did she keep coming over and asking if we needed anything and refilling our drinks, but I think she was 1 of only 2 waitresses on shift for all of the tables. We had a very enjoyable time here at Ott House and cannot wait to come back!Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly and family friendly. Great atmosphere for everyone!!“
“The most accommodating and family friendly service! We stopped while travelling, thinking it would be a quick bite at a hole-in-the-wall pizza place. Well, we got incredible friendly service, delicious food, and a warm environment. It has indoor seating, a great accommodation for someone travelling, but it also appears like a thriving carry-out restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Kid menu and high chair.“
“I had my husband order a pizza and bring it home tonight and that pizza was delicious. They did a very good job. When you get good food from a place like we got tonight you will always go back again and we will. Great flavor and I very much enjoyed every bite. Thanks to those who made it.“
“Omg the bread at this place!!!! After a little mix up on order I got my food. I should have read the instructions. If you get a sub you have to ask for tomato lettuce etc. The real star of this place is the bread. Stromboli was great as well. Loved it!“
“Food was...almost right. Everything was good, but not quite what it should have been. Not sure what was missing, but to could have been truly awesome. There was an individual pizza that needed a touch of sharpness to make it really sparkle, for example. A drizzle of a balsamic reduction maybe?Still, definitely a cut above the average, and worth considering if you are in Gettysburg for a meal“
“Cute place on the back end of the battlefield. Mozzarella sticks were really good and cooked perfectly! The chili dog was just ok. Not enough chili and cheese sauce overpowered the bun. The pizza was good, but the sauce was tangy, overly chunky, and acidic. For the price was a good value and would go back!“
“Fun place with good service, huge portions, and a nice atmosphere. We had several different dishes, with both house tomato sauce and a cream sauce. We like the cream sauce better, but it's just down to preference. Meats were delicious and it was overall a great meal.“
“To be fair the pizza was tasty enough. staff was friendly and order was ready before quoted time!! However was pretty disappointed to order a “Deep Dish Chicago Style” pizza and it was not even close. It was a pepperoni pan pizza with slightly thicker crust and wayy too much cheese. Nothing Chicago or deep dish about it. Was reallly excited to see that on the menu locally, but it should not be labeled that :( The pizza sauce was good (but not on top, or extra like chicago style) & we still enjoyed it but 10000% not a chi deep dish. I would have paid less to order a regular pizza with pepperoni than paying the higher price for deep dish when it was not. Photos to compare their pizza to a chicago style.“
“We've had very good take out sandwiches here. The portion sizes are very generous and the fried items are never greasy (why is that so hard for other places to get right?!). If you want to eat in, there are a few tables but it seems like most of their business is take out.Vegetarian options: There are two hot subs and one cold sub that have no meat.Parking: This is in a plaza with a grocery store so there is lots of parking.“
“I really love this spot and not just for the cannolis. Great place for a pizza party or birthday bash. Outdoor seating with fire pits. I like the small cheese pizza best, the man loves the huge BLTs (come on a sub roll). All of the subs are pretty huge. Family owned and operated. Oh and there are lions everywhere!“
“I ordered a carry out order. When I arrived to pick up, the restaurant was clean and well organized. Staff was friendly and courteous. I ordered the Special House Fajitas (shrimp, chicken, steak and sausage), and my wife had the Tacos De Pollo Asada (chicken tacos). Food was delicious and flavorful. We'll definitely order again. Thanks Sanders team!“
“BEST FOOD in Gettysburg!! I am gluten-free and their menu is some of the best options for Italian / pizza that I’ve ever found (which is hard to come by for wheat-based foods like pasta and bread). My fiancé and I have come here several times this summer and our favorites have been the GF Hawaiian pizza and GF stuffed shells!! Cheesy heaven LOLI wish I took photos before diving in, but we were too excited to eat ? The only thing that I would say could be improved is that the Alfredo we got once was super black-peppery and the pasta was underdone, but other than that we are so happy with the food and service! The family is so nice and makes silly jokes which is a fun environment. Definitely recommend!Dietary restrictions: Best gluten free tasty ingredients food in the area and so far, Celiac safe for me!“
“Little hole in the wall spot in Thurmont. Came here for lunch one day because I heard about the Super Italian hoagie at the establishment. Was definitely not disappointed as it was incredibly good and probably the best I've had in Frederick County. So far I've had the Italian hoagie, cheesesteak, fries, and pizza from here and all was very solid. The sandwiches are my go to without question. Very reasonable prices and the staff was friendly. I will be frequenting here with how delicious and affordable it is. Earned my 5 stars“
“Needed dinner for the family after getting in to town. Friendly on the phone, good location, easy to get to, park and pick up dinner. Order was quick, reasonable price and accurate. We eat A LOT of pizza from all over. This was love at first bite! I would recommend to anyone in town for a visit. I will order from them again if I make it back there.“
“Pizza is excellent. You can tell they use fresh ingredients. This was the first time I had ordered a pizza and will not be my last. Service is minimum. Just average. They are located in an abandoned grocery store. It is depressing . Not a place that I would recommend for a sit down lunch or dinner. Food is great so definitely try it when in the area.“
“We came to the outlets and we usually end up eating lunch halfway through our shopping. This place is within the food court and despite being food court pizza, the pizza is outstanding. I consider myself a pizza snob and I'll point out bad pizza but this place is fantastic. My son got a plain cheese pizza and my wife and I ordered a whole white pizza pie for ourselves. The food only took about 15 minutes to be made for a full pizza but the taste aas great. It felt close to true NY style which is so hard to find. Hands down, would get pizza here again if we shop here again. If this pizza place opened up as a regular pizza joint, they'd make a lot of money.“
“While in Gettysburg for the weekend, our hotel recommended The Pizza House for lunch. We're really glad they did!My grandson loves pizza and proclaimed the cheese pizza one of the best he's ever had! I had a delicious cheese steak sub and a side order of Old Bay French fries. I'm definitely an Old Bay fan, and these fries were delicious! The owner is a Vietnam War veteran who has worked here since 1977. The food he serves shows the pride he takes in The Pizza House. If in Gettysburg, stop by this great lunch spot!“
“Where else in Fairfield can you get this caliber of Za and good hang out atmosphere? I'll tell you. Nowhere close. Our family loves this place and the service is always great. I only wish they might deliver in the future.Parking: Parking is behind the building.“
“We were lucky to stumble on this place on a Friday night. Great pizzas! We had the brisket pizza which was really good, and the calamari is on point. The back area has FREE GAMES, pool, shuffleboard, skeeball, hoops, and air hockey. After dinner we hung out and played games drinking the delicious local beers. Highly recommend!“
“Dinner was great, we had planned to originally go somewhere else but stumbled upon it walking downtown. We were greeted by the wonderful staff and were seated promptly. They have plenty of great Italian cuisine to choose from. I would whole heartedly recommend the Delmonico steak or the ceaser salad, both items were excellent. Our experience was great from start to finish my only complaint being that the restaurant was probably 75 degrees and I felt like I was sweating the entire time but it hardly stopped us from having a good time. We will be back in the future!“
“First time being here. Ordered meatball spaghetti which comes with homemade tomato sauce. Since it’s a dinner size they offered a side of salad and garlic bread. Everything is just right. Plus the service! The gentleman is super nice and friendly ❤️ will definitely return when we come snowboard here!“
