“Little hole in the wall spot in Thurmont. Came here for lunch one day because I heard about the Super Italian hoagie at the establishment. Was definitely not disappointed as it was incredibly good and probably the best I've had in Frederick County. So far I've had the Italian hoagie, cheesesteak, fries, and pizza from here and all was very solid. The sandwiches are my go to without question. Very reasonable prices and the staff was friendly. I will be frequenting here with how delicious and affordable it is. Earned my 5 stars“

“I really love this spot and not just for the cannolis. Great place for a pizza party or birthday bash. Outdoor seating with fire pits. I like the small cheese pizza best, the man loves the huge BLTs (come on a sub roll). All of the subs are pretty huge. Family owned and operated. Oh and there are lions everywhere!“
“Girls day out...mani pedis then lunch. Got there in time that breakfast was an option. Pancakes were huge. Portions for breakfast were generous. Paninis, subs and pizza was delicious. Got the lunch special for my son...2 slices with a drink... they were HUGE!“
“First time being here. Ordered meatball spaghetti which comes with homemade tomato sauce. Since it’s a dinner size they offered a side of salad and garlic bread. Everything is just right. Plus the service! The gentleman is super nice and friendly ❤️ will definitely return when we come snowboard here!“
“I have officially tried many items on the menu. I really like how they add different items that aren’t on the menu yet. One reason we restaurant hop is getting bored with the same old things. “Great atmosphere!! They had different sports showing on many TV's, a quieter room with tables by a fireplace if you prefer, and even several tables in the back by the electronic darts and pool tables if you wanted to sit near them and watch family or friends play or even join in! There was also some kids dancing in the back by the darts and some up front watching the big screen TV with basketball on, great environment. Everything we ate was delicious from crab soups, French onion soup, Buffalo wings to cheese steak, pizza and just wonderful crab cakes. All the food came out pretty quickly too. I do have to say we were Amazed by our waitress who was Awesome!! Not only did she keep coming over and asking if we needed anything and refilling our drinks, but I think she was 1 of only 2 waitresses on shift for all of the tables. We had a very enjoyable time here at Ott House and cannot wait to come back!Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly and family friendly. Great atmosphere for everyone!!“

“This was our first time at the Original Rocky's.I read the very few nasty reviews and I will say firsthand, but the good reviews outweighed the bad.First, don't believe the bad reviews. It looks like the same people spamming this business under different names because they were looking for something for nothing. Plus, to only tip $2 for someone to deliver food says a lot.Next, the signage they displayed is not vulgar whatsoever. Lighten up, people. It is quite comical and entertaining to read while you wait.The customer service was top-notch. The person who took my order was very kind and helpful. She was patient and helpful when I had questions. Also, there was, a lady, who I believe was the owner, who was super friendly and nice.We ordered 2 large 1-topping pizzas and the colossal mozzarella stick.Since the food is made to order, it came out piping hot. Let me tell you about this colossal mozzarella stick.The pictures just don't do justice on the size. The shear weight of it is shocking. It has a perfect balance of breading and the cheese will string for miles. It has great flavor, as well.The pizza has that perfect fold and eat texture and just the right amount of balance of sauce, cheese, and ingredients.I wish we lived closer, but I know we will be returning when we are in the area.“
