“We had a wonderful first visit to Charley’s! Our party of seven arrived around 4:30 without a reservation, but what appeared to be the manager quickly had a table cleaned and ready for us within five minutes. He was attentive and present throughout the restaurant, which was great to see. Our server was excellent, the food came out surprisingly fast, and the whole family loved the cozy, fun atmosphere—especially the arcade room. The plants and café lights are a nice touch too. We’re already looking forward to coming back!“

“This is the third time we have been to this diner. The wings are very good. They have a very inclusive menu which is very helpful with people with allergies. It is also the only place I found an option without having to alter anything in the recipe. I wish they would add a df notation on the menu like they have gf and v. I was so happy to find delicious hummus and cauliflower pita. The bartender was thoroughly looking through their allergy menu (they need an updated one) which was very nice. It is busy there but today we really only had to wait for the check. They also have dairy free milk shakes!“

“This is a very cool place. I just went so my kid could check out the rated chess tournament (blitz G3+2) that happens every Monday night. Charles Village Chess hosts the Monday blitz and G20 quads Friday elsewhere, I believe. There was not only chess , but Mah Jong being played, good beer, live music outside, a room with like 30 operating pinball machines, another room full of vintage video games. Nice artsy, laid back vibe. Diverse crowd of friendly people. They only serve drinks, and a tiny bit of merch, so BYO outside food ok. All the brewery tanks and pipes visible...and this was on a Monday night. I wonder how Fridays are. I'm a fan. My son had fun playing chess...and reported the players were strong, which he appreciated . I had a beer while I waited for him to compete. We'll be back.“

If I had to critique the place it would be they need a 2nd barista, or a cheap intercom system. The tiny place only holds 6 people (and a dog!) and 5 of those are standing around waiting for their coffee.“

“Yesterday was my first visit to Corner Juice Bar, and I absolutely loved it! I ordered a fresh wheatgrass shot—it was both affordable and made to perfection. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming, making the experience even better. The decor has a nostalgic charm that took me right back to my childhood—especially the mini piano and gold telephone. She was familiar with the two customers in front of me. It definitely had a neighborhood friendly vibe. The shop was busy. Most of the tables on the first floor were taken up when I was there. Be sure to take a stroll up the stairs. At the top of the stairs was an adorable little spot for two people to sit and chat. The second floor has a great little area to sit and ready or study. The top floor was full of light. I ordered my usual cortado. It was a solid drink. The cortado wasn't bad but it also wasn't anything spectacular to write home about.“

“Absolute gem of a place! We stopped in for lunch after a hot hike from top golf and it felt absolutely amazing in here. It was a well decorated modern industrial vibe that smelt brand new! The bartender who was also the waitress was amazing! The beer and drinks were ice cold and our chicken strips and fries were fresh and delicious! Glad we found this place on a whim.“

My waiter was Jimmy today I ordered the Halibut after I asked what it was 😂😂😂. He told me it was delicious and one of his favorite fish. The man was spot on it was absolutely amazing how every was seasoned and grilled to beyond perfection. My girlfriend ordered the Chicken Chesapeake it was an absolute hit.I don’t know which one was better but I’d love to have a serving of either one again anytime. Oysters were perfect this place has quickly become a huge place of interest. We both look forward to returning and I will suggest this amazing food to anyone. What great food and a great time.“
