“I just have to share the fantastic experience we had tonight. My husband and I went to The Local around 6:30 pm (prime time without reservations lol). The only available seats were a high top table in the bar area. They asked us if that was ok and we said “sure”. Within a minute or so after being seated, it became apparent that our vision of a nice relaxing dinner would be impossible in that room. The Preakness was about to begin, and that bar was loud and hopping! Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining, I love to see people enjoying themselves. It was a party, but just wasn’t our vibe tonight. We decided we would go elsewhere. We politely informed the hostess that we were going to leave because it was just a tad too noisy, but that we would definitely return again soon. We stressed that we were not mad, or upset. As we were walking to our car, a very nice gentleman followed us out and asked if we would consider returning if they could sit us elsewhere. We said “Of course!” We didn’t think there were any other available tables, but he said they would work something out for us. We told him we didn’t expect them to go out of their way for us and that we could wait. Within five minutes, we were seated at a lovely table in the dining room. We later learned the gentleman that helped us was none other than the owner/ executive chef Zack. We went on to have a delicious dinner with the most attentive and charming server. They demonstrated exemplary customer service, which sadly is lacking in many other establishments. We weren’t expecting any special treatment, but they certainly went above and beyond for us, and it was very much appreciated! When we were leaving, Zack happened to be outside, so he made sure to ask how our experience was. We told him it was amazing, and that his restaurant has been one of our favorites since it opened. We told him we would be back soon. Our experience there tonight is just one of many examples why this restaurant stands out, and why we will always highly recommend them! Thank you all so much for proving customer service is not a dying art!“

“A group of 16 friends gathered for lunch on a hot, steamy Monday. I have been to NSK several times and loved it, so I was anxious to show off this new Harford County restaurant. Zoe was our server and what a sweetheart she was to all of us. Not only was she sweet, she was also very organized, attentive and efficient. She handled this many people with ease. All 16 of us LOVED our meals!! Every single thing was fresh and delish! If you haven’t been to NSK yet, you must go (and get the crab flatbread!)
NSK will continue to be my #1 choice in Harford County!“

“Basta Pasta We went there for Father’s Day and Paul’s birthday on July 3rd, just Paul, Brian and me. For his birthday Paul ordered the New York Strip steak with two sides, me and Brian ordered Chicken Chesapeake. Mine and Brian’s were great, 1/2 pound of crab cake over a chicken breast with a lemon sauce, it was delicious. We ordered with red potatoes that were fabulous. Now we come to Paul’s steak. He said it was the best steak he ever had. It was thick and juicy and had a charred outer crust. He shared with us. He ordered asparagus and red potatoes with his. All was served with a big bowl of salad and bread that we shared before our entree. How was that for a review?“

“First time at Libs Bel Air! Went on themed Movie Brunch 7/14/24. Loved the classy way it looked. Food and service was good! A lady named Dani came over to check on us and was so welcoming she even looked like she was handling all that was going on an we were impressed. Will be back!“

“Had brunch with our family yesterday. I have dietary restrictions -no dairy, no gluten- while the menu has lots of options for restrictions they are also very flexible and creative in ways to mix and match offerings for multiple restrictions. I ordered the avacado toast on the cauliflower pizza crust and it was outstanding!! Our server, Brenna, was really patient and professional. She personally saw the chef and explained the special order. And she did it with a smile and an awesome attitude! Definitely worth a return trip!!“

“At a recent visit, we ordered the Family #3 (1 whole rotisserie chicken plus 2 Large sides). The chicken was amazing, it's definitely enough for 4 people.; The large size of the sides was enormous & enough for 4 people. The fired plantain side had 15 pieces of plantain in it.“

“We haven't been here since it was sold. The place is beautiful! The food was excellent and our waitress, Holly was the bomb diggity!!! We had the CRAB COW BERGER and it was the best burger we ever . Moist beef and the crab cake with crab imperial was divine. The fries were cooked perfect, nice and crunchy but just as soft on the inside. They were NOT coated! Prices were very reasonable. When you get food like this, you don't mind what it costs as long as it is great. Again, ask for Holly to be your waitress. The best server we have had in a long time. “Ordered off of their catering menu for my wife's birthday. I purchased the Margharita Seafood Special with shrimp, scallops and lump crabmeat in a rose' cream sauce and it was excellent! The homemade meatballs jad everybody raving and their sausage, onions and peppers in marinara sauce was also great. Thankfully we had some left overs that we are still enjoying. Lastly was their Greek salad, very fresh and loaded with feta cheese. I definitely recommend these folks for your next lunch or dinner or when you need an event catered. “It's definitely one of the top sushi spots in Harford County. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but once you go inside, the decor and atmosphere are quite nice. They offer sushi, hibachi, and also, beer, wine, and sake. They had a 2 or 3 roll special when my wife and I dined. The special didn't include all the rolls on the menu, but it includes the majority. We ordered miso soup, seaweed salad, and a 3 roll special. We chose the Good time Roll, the Tiffany Roll, and the Mexican Roll. They were well made and delicious! Nice presentation as well. For dessert, we ordered fried ice cream. It was a tempora coated scoop of vanilla. Delicious! Service staff was great! We will be back.“

Dawn took our order, served our order, check on us several times while dining, and finally gave us our check. Most waitress now take your order and give you your check and want a 20% tip.“

“I was out running errands and instead of going for fast food or other popular restaurants, I went to this bar because they had corned beef and cabbage on St Patrick's day which was awesome so I tried their spaghetti and meat sauce. It took a while to get waited on, food was was good. The sides they listed on menu board were extra cost and do not come with your meal which I thought was odd. They didn't have any parmesan cheese for my meal which I missed having. They have plenty of tv's to watch the O's. Pool tables,shuffleboard, several beers on tap. I will go back because I try to support local bussinesses. I think I caught them on an off day thus the reason I gave 4 stars.“

“This place is nice. Owners are very nice. Upgraded a lot and atmosphere is very welcoming. I have a complaint about the bartender Dar or Darcy something they call her. Never smiles Comes to you and look at you but don’t ask what can I get you. She waits for you to say something. Acts like she don’t want to be there. Does not know how to make mixed drinks and gets an attitude when you ask. She is bad for business. She waits on who she choose to wait on. I have heard a few people complain about her. You’re doing a fine job don’t let one bad seed ruin it. Put a ad in the paper or advertisement looking for customer oriented bartenders. She not it“

“I’ve been a fan of Pat’s forever! Tonight. I ordered a simple Pepperoni Pizza (well done) & an order of fries for take out! The order was ready when promised, the girls behind the counter were attentive & friendly, and the best part….my pizza was perfectly well done! “Definitely call ahead to order because they get very busy at times, especially at night. Great food for a great price I got the #6 2 pc catfish combo and fries for 8.99. the box was filled with fries on the bottom, and the catfish pieces were very big, it was almost like you were eating 4 pieces from another restaurant. The fried chicken is also pretty good too, 11.99 was how much it cost for 8 pieces and it was cooked well. Would recommend to anyone looking for a cheap but good restaurant to eat at.“

Unfortunately our app of Mozzarella Kabobs was quite small. Two skewers with 8 quarter size pieces for $12 was very over priced. Suggestion either increase the quantity of the app or please lower the price. Definitely will not order that again.“

Do not order through grub hub if you can. They’re a small business with free delivery within a 5 miles radius. Let’s not give them a percentage of our money.
