“The food is insanely good . Every dish we ordered was prepared to perfect quality . The lasagna was rich and amazing and not smothered with cheese . The grilled whole chicken is so tender and the sauce is rich. The lobster pasta was so good too. Highly highly recommended by my family and my 3 teenagers .“
“The food was fantastic! The service was fantasticOverall a fantastic experience. We had a awesome time dining with Rose's the staff was very nice and very accommodating to our dietary restrictions. We also received various items that we off the menu that were excellent. And they gave us a treat to take home. I would definitely recommend Roses, P&P, and Little Pearl. Trust me, they won't let you down.“
“My birthday weekend would not be complete with dining at Caruso's Grocery in Capitol Hill for some Italian. My old reliable is the Spicy Neapolitan Ragu. How can a classic dish that is so simple be soooo good and why doesn't my spaghetti and meat sauce at home taste like this??lolThe Spicy Neapolitan Ragù is traditional, flavorful, amazing meat sauce that is cooked with love and to die for. Which is probably why it is featured on the cover page of their website. The Bucatini Pasta comes out smoking hot topped with a dollop of creamy whipped ricotta.Chef's kiss or "Molto Delizioso" (Italian for very delicious per google lol)“
“The best pizzas you can expect in Washington D.C. I assure you there's no one better. But people just love it. It's always packed and the pizzas never disappoint. It's a must-try for someone looking for a great pizza take out.“
“We were bowled over by this place. We got there at 4.45pm as a walk in and were sat straight at the bar. Get there early if you want a seat! The food was absolutely outstanding, but Andrew the lovely bar waiter was the highlight of the night for us. He was so warm. informative and professional. Very much recommended.“
“Nestled neatly into Barracks Row, this longtime establishment offers an incredible cozy atmosphere. It's a fantastic family run business and the staff were great. The tortellini alla panna was delicious. The penne alla vodka was solid, but a little bland. I'm eager to come back to try more of the menu. Highly recommend to those in the area looking for a casual italian spot.“
“The deli meat is freshly cut, veggie toppings were plentiful and fresh and the sub roll is THE BEST hoagie roll ever. Chewy deliciousness. The kids had a simple ham and cheese the first day that was so good, we came back for an Italian hoagie the next day. The icing on the cake though was the customer service from Coretha. Be prepared to be entertained. She will wake you up with her kindness and humor after a long day of sitting inside the convention center.“
“Incredible, fresh ingredients on the lightest, puffiest dough you’ve ever had. Charming atmosphere, super friendly and attentive waitstaff and the owners are on-site and working hard. This is a family-owned restaurant and they are a delight! Authentic Roman pinsa! Highly highly recommend!“
“We felt like we were back in Italy! We could have shared a plate for two because they give you plenty of food.Dietary restrictions: We had the gluten free pasta and it was the best we have ever had in the US.Kid-friendliness: Mozzarella pizza and pasta ala pomodoro“
“My son and I ate at Bacio today and let me say we had a wonderful experience. We sat on the cute patio and it was so peaceful and quiet, you wouldn’t know you were in the middle of DC. The server was friendly and attentive. I liked the alcohol selection, and had wine. We enjoyed mozzarella sticks which we could tell were made in house and not just reheated from frozen like in most other places. The pizza my son got was fresh and delicious. I enjoyed my arugula salad with shrimp. I wish they were a little more cooked but that is a personal preference. The desserts very very good too, we really liked the limoncello raspberry cake. We really highly recommend this place and we can’t wait to go back!“
“Not only the quality is top notch, the consistency between their locations is even more admirable. I can go to any location and be happy. When you combine quality, creativity, knowledge, skills, the love and passion in what they do, this is what makes my stellina my home.“
“A great spot for lunch - the menu is amazing and the serving sizes were just right. The restaurant wasn't loud and the staff were quite professional. The floor to ceiling windows let in plenty of light and the views of the waterfront are lovely.“
“The best hard roll sub in DC has got to be the G Man. My family has been eating them for well over 40 years. It's a family run carry out that has consistently made the same sandwich's for my family my whole entire life. If I'm in the neighborhood, I pick some up for everyone. It's a tradition my father started and I happily carry it on.“
“The staff were all welcoming from the start. The food was AMAZING! The owner came to our table to check on our evening. We were very happy and I must say the Filet Mignon with balsamic glaze was one of the best I’ve ever had and I’ve eaten at 3 star Michelin restaurants . The evening was important to us as we got engaged that day. I highly recommend this wonderful little jewel of a restaurant !!“
“Do yourself a favor and stop in at NY Pizza Grill! Nice atmosphere, clean most importantly, and everyone seemed to be enjoying their food. We ate EVERYTHING on our plates. I recommend the Blazing Burger and wings. Kids loved the brownies! Visiting from Hawaii and the only thing I miss is mainland food! Wish we could come back more often just for this place, we will definitely be back!“
“Easter Sunday 3/31/24We've been coming here for years and its the same great experience.. had our wedding rehearsal dinner here August 26th 2005 and been here multiple times on private special occasions. Always a pleasure to be here, great italian food, great brunches, and excellent service as usual. Keisha the host is absolutely wonderful and I think we do remember her at the restaurant when we had our rehearsal dinner in 2005. We will definitely keep coming back for special occasions or if we just want some great italian food.“
“Best subs in Maryland and the Turkey Pasta is Awesome. The People are very friendly. They use the best meats Boars Head brand . Travel from St. Mary’s County to get this quality of food , portion size and service.Parking: Easy in Easy out“
“I Love Italian - and when I say this place has THE BEST MEATBALLS I've ever tasted - it's saying a lot! The mushroom gnocchi was light and delish! Not to mention the roasted cauliflower, burrata and garlic bread!! It was a feast and worth every bite! The staff was friendly, polite and aimed to please! The decor and vibe super cool. It was recommended to me by a local and when I visit DC again - this gem will be a first stop!“
“My husband and I went to Alta Strada for dinner before a show at the Capital One Arena. It was amazing. Their staff and team were so sweet and so much fun. They are clearly very passionate about customer service and their food! We loved our entire experience and already decided to make that our go to spot before shows!!“
“This place is highly underrated and needs your business. Why? Incredible wine selection, quality food, super kind staff, vibey music, and reasonable prices. You want to wait an hour or two to go eat at El Presidente, Pastis, and St. Anselm? Me neither. Those restaurants are great but we are overlooking this hidden gem. Pictured: valtellina bruschette, marinated olives, and seafood paella.Wheelchair accessibility: There is an ADA ramp to get to the restaurant.“
“Ya know, I’ve supported this business many times. Not gonna say it’s the warmest service but they’re nice enough and the food is amazing, specifically the veal parmigiana. However, today, I was very disappointed. I called ahead for a carry out order, I was hung up on, called back told it would be a long wait. It ended up being a two hour wait. The ONE thing I emphasized was wanting a side of Alfredo. It’s why I ordered the entree I did, and it’s why I ordered garlic bread. After a much anticipated two hour wait, I get home, and there’s no Alfredo. It’s been a hard day. It ruined my meal. Sad girl.SN best veal parmigiana (while I didn’t order that today)But no Alfredo…that ruined the night for me after a two hour wait“
“Great place to stop in for lunch! It's strictly deli style so there is not any seating but our food was ready very fast. Very authentic Italian feel. We ordered the Italian and the chicken parmesan sandwiches. We were very impressed by the quality of the bread and other ingredients used. Very fresh and filling. We also purchased some cannoli which were some of the best shells we have had.“
“Amazing pizza that is only outdone by incredible staff! As tourist we sat back and watched how the staff interacted with regulars & newcomers & it was heartwarming. If we lived here we’d eat here every week! Happy hour prices are so good you have no excuse not to visit!“
“Olive Garden is as good as you will get for a chain restaurant. We really weren't going there because the food is top tier, we went because it has a great family atmosphere which ends up making the food taste. Little better. The service was superb for our party of 25 and I would definitely come back just for that. Even when we were leaving the manager (or who I thought) was the manager greeted us all goodbye and made sure our service was good during ordering. Just an added touch of care. Thank you for a great family memory and the price isn't bad either.“
“We got food to go and waited outside- the inside is very small but the food… was so good! We got the risotto balls and fries. Both hit. I just wish the marinara was hot for the risotto balls! It was a good late night meal! Will definitely try the pizza next time!“
“This was a fantastic Italian restaurant. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, the food was amazing, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.I came here on a date. The staff gave us a great table. We could really take in the atmosphere and it wasn't loud where they put us, so we could easily have a conversation.I had the daily specials. All of them. I stuffed myself to capacity. It was great. The wine pairing was recommended by the waiter and it was a perfect compliment to the meal. My date was a vegetarian and the staff happily worked with her to ensure her order fit her dietary restrictions. I will definitely be coming back.“
“So I’ve never had Chicago deep dish pizza before. I’ve always thought that it would be too much of a good thing too. My husband saw Rosati’s as we passed by and made a note to come back next time we were around, fast forward to today and I just had my first ever taste of Chicago style deep dish pizza and it was amazing! It wasnt too much of anything. It was well balanced, the flavor was good, and it wasn’t super greasy. I’m surprised at how much it wasn’t what I expected it would be. I’m now into deep dish pizza - love at first slice (va dum tsh). Def recommend, food is good, staff was very nice, and I’ve got multiple meals coming. Stop in if you like good pizza.“
“In the words of Lady Gaga: Talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before.Absolutely adored this dinner, the experience, the service and won’t ever forget it.Masseria is no joke!“
“My fiancé, my 3 month old baby, and I went to Bond 45 last night to celebrate our engagement & it was honestly such a nice Restuarant to go and celebrate anything! The service was wonderful, everyone was very welcoming, and greeted us with a smile. The place was beautiful and pretty fancy but we were literally wearing jeans and a top, and we didn't feel left out or we were in the wrong place because of how welcoming everyone there was! The food... 10/10!! The calamari and shrimp was so delicious & the chicken parm was so good!! This is definitely be one of our go tos for dinner“
“This has become my new favorite restaurant, I have been working my way through their menu and have been pleasantly surprised with everything. Employees are always very polite and helpful great specials and tons of coupons when you sign up recommend stopping in and trying them out. Wait times are very reasonable even with them cooking everything to order.Vegetarian options: Great selection of salads and and dishes and everything is customizable for vegetarian optionsParking: They share the parking lot with 7-11 which is also convenient if you need to grab stuff while your waiting for your food“
“Their pizza is delicious. I've had their pizza three times during this pandemic and now it's one of my family's favorites so far. I prefer it over the name brand chains like pizza hut, Papa John's, Marcos, etc. Their steak and cheese sub and gyros were delicious too. A nice local pizzeria with many other food options.“
“I grew up going to the original Ledos store on University Blvd in Adelphi. I moved away many years ago and I am told that old store is gone. I was visiting my old stomping grounds and tried the College Park location on US Rt 1. It's a very different vibe for a new era. It's a beautiful restaurant and quite inviting. The pizza is excellent as always. The service was on point. Ledos Pizza is an iconoc brand in this area and has branched out I to a small chain. You won't be disappointed.“
“Mom used to bring me here in the late 80s and early 90s for a cold cut. We moved to Rockville later, but still made a trek out there to get a cold cut from this shop. I live in FL now, next time I'm in town, I'll drive over and get a cold cut just the way we used to get em. Nothing like this place anywhere else. Tony's I've been a fan since at least 89. Can't wait to get another sub from you.“
“Today, my 3 friends and I each ordered a pie from Raymond and L & their service was impeccable, the food was great and the ambience & music were slamming. The place was clean and the food was immaculate. They even played the NFL playoff games for us & invited us back.“
“My husband and I had a carving for a 90s style pizzeria's and we found one in Anthony’s. There is live music every Thursday. Tonight was a piano bar vibe that was just awesome. My husband and I sang along while eating our pizza, wings, and Caesar salads. The customer service was great and food came quickly and was tasty. We can’t wait to come back!Vegetarian options: I had the vegetarian pizza it was great. They were even able to remove toppings I didn't want.“
“We are visiting Washington DC. We went to Lavagna for dinner. Italian!!! Amazing fresh delicious Italian cuisine! Lovely old historic building for this restaurant. Great service!! They were wonderfully attentive all evening. We tried 4 different entrees & 3 salads. Each one was amazing!! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Go visit as soon as you can. Delicious!!!“
“While the service has declined over the past 6 years, dinner here is a must whenever I'm in the DMV. It's quaint and has an elegant yet comfortable home feel. I had the stuffed salmon which was a little overcooked, but still tasty and reasonably priced. Mama Stella's is one of my Prince George's County favorites.“
“I recently ordered at Pizza Bolis, and I must say, the experience was outstanding. The food quality exceeded my expectations; every bite was bursting with flavor. The staff and manager were exceptionally nice and cooperative, ensuring our experience was nothing short of delightful. Their dedication to providing top-quality food and service was evident in every aspect of our visit. I highly recommend Pizza Bolis as the best halal place in town for anyone seeking delicious food and excellent service. Thanks“
“Dudes this place is amazing, delicious pizza and excellent customer service. The only real complaint I have is that the cleaners need to check their tables once a customer leaves, sometimes the tables are dirty or the floor had some left overs, only that makes it a little less than desired but other than that this place is great for family occasions.“
“I most say its not what I expected, DC isn't known for its pizza ??..but I was PLEASANTLY SURPRISED!!! I will definitely order from here again. Their pizza is actually good ?. I'm going to try the wings next time and a stromboli just so I can let y'all know what's up. Ledo at shrimp boat off Benning Road is apparently a local landmark and the locals know it well.“
“This is my go-to after DeMatha athletic events. Some of the best Italian food you could ever eat, just behind my favorite (Sorrentos in Duncannon, PA) of all time. Pizza is fantastic, dishes are amazing, portions are plentiful, price is right, and then the desserts. Oh my, what a selection!“
“This place has a really modern interior that is very pretty and simple. The service that I received was outstanding which matches the taste of the pizza. This place is Halal, so if you don’t do pig-based meat products, you have nothing to worry about here.“
“Love this spot and the people who work it. I come often because they are great for a quick half sandwich (the caprese and the roast beef are our family favorites). They also have awesome seasonal items - we had an amazing Pannetone this year with chocolate and pear.“
“THE PIZZA WAS ABSOLUTELY SCRUMPTIOUS, EVERY STAFF MEMBER WAS VERY KIND. I FELT VERY SAFE, THE ATMOSPHERE WAS VERY CHILL AND RELAXING. WOULD 100% RECOMMEND!!! Gave me plates and napkins!!Parking: Very spacious and availableWheelchair accessibility: Lot of ramps“
“Wanted a small personal pizza. Asked the gentleman behind the counter and he helped me with understanding and kindness. He also gave me suggestions for toppings. The pizza was brought to my table with packets of options plates and napkins. It was a great experience bcs I can count on 1hand the quality customer service I've had in PG county in the last 10 years of residing visiting and working there. I wish I had gotten his name. Great job. Thankyou for the hot nice tasting food experience. I will definitely visit again.“
