“I love this place man. Little tavern on the side of a liquor store. Not exactly a kind of saturday night birthday dinner place but youre not gonna find that in this area anyway. F*** national harbor. That whole area is trash. Seriously, this place has better food than any of those places. I've tried them all. I keep coming back here. And the service here sticks out in my mind as some of the best I've ever had. No lie. And I've been all over. I feel like they appreciate having me here as a patron. I love that. Come here to chill, grub, drink and watch a game. Try the egg salad. No lie. S*** is bomb.“

“I had a great time at Burton’s Grill (Alexandria) yesterday (9/30/23). The food was amazing, the drinks were good and strong. The staff was awesome. The GM came and introduced himself to us. The chef came out and talked to us about our food allergies. Our server “T” was as so amazing. She went above and beyond. I really enjoyed myself and I will be back.“

“I'm from NC so I naturally went in for the NC pulled BBQ sandwich. It wasn't quite what I'd call NC BBQ but it was good none the less. I'll definitely return when I'm craving a little bit of home. And the sweet tea was awesome.“

“I initially stopped in to grab a quick bite to eat while in the middle of a prior engagement. The atmosphere was so relaxed and inviting. The young lady who took my order was personable and professional. She ensured that I had incite regarding menu options and made an awesome recommendation. I wished I had more time to enjoy the ambiance and immediate sense of belonging and being invited into a hidden gem of an experience. I will absolutely return and ensure that I have more time to spend when I do!“

“For the prices, good food and decent selection of beer. The building is a little run down and the owner is a complete goofball. He saw me with my tablet and told me I better not be trying to hack into his network. I was just reading the WSJ online. Weird dude, has some social skills issues. Hence my rating of 3 for atmosphere. The rest of the staff are pretty pleasant. Not a bad spot if you can avoid the owner.“

“I really like the lighting. As you can see from the photos the actual bar is illuminated, which gives the restaurant a mellow amber glow. Very clean and the staff wanted to ensure my order was perfect, correct and tasty. I ordered to-go and had an amaretto sour while I waited. I decided to eat there because the bartender was generous ?, I call it a cruise ship cocktail when they are well spiked, domo arigato. Very nice selection of $5 cocktails.The reason for the 4-stars for food is my food was a bit overly greasy and my wings a tad tough. The teriyaki sauce was yummy and not too salty, and yes I like salty. “A true Hideaway! Classic bar with a classic feel - I mean reall classic like haven't changed it since the 80s classic. Beer was cold. Bartender was friendly, music was loud and the food is fried. Great little hole in the wall divey bar.“

“You can't just walk up to the Front Porch and be seated. You first have to go to one of the sister restaurants next door, ask to be seated at the Front Porch, then they'll escort you back to the Front Porch. It's a little strange and we watched many succumb to this unnecessary back and forth.We all enjoyed our meals. The smash burgers were especially amazing! The menu felt a little limited in terms of selections, which is why two of us ended up choosing the burgers in the first place.All in all, a decent experience.“

“I enjoy the after hours DJ evening time. Unfortunately the DJ they currently have is really bad. Every time I choose to go he ruins the vibe. He plays for himself and is totally unaware that he constantly loses the dance floor but he never really has it if I’m being honest. He plays music for teens at a house party or frat party. His track selection is all very disconnected from adults who want to dance. He fails to understand that when everyone is just standing around you need to switch up your selections. We call it ‘reading the room’ but he really needs to learn and understand the importance of this. At the end of the day the DJ is like the chef and the guy they have now desperately needs to learn to cook better.“

“This was a fun place but they do need to fix the ATM machine if they only take cash at the door. My friend and I went to see Rare Essence. It cost 20 per person before 11pm after that it was $30. There's no smoking on the inside, no vaping as well. But overall R E cranked!Parking: Get there early for a good spot.“

“Woooow! This is a great spot! My husband and I are from Columbia, SC and stopped by as we were visiting the DC area. We had a couple drinks, some quesadillas and a steak sandwich. Great food, OUTSTANDING service and an all around perfect place ?? y’all gon mess around and make me come back! ??“

“We were in town for a concert at the MGM and wanted to grab a drink beforehand. Stopped in at this place early evening. Seemed to be mostly regulars sitting around the bar. They were friendly and inviting. Several said hello to us and we pulled up a couple barstools. There were many tvs showing various sports or news and one woman asked if there was anything we wanted to change a channel to. They had a few draft beers plus canned/bottled beer, wine and liquor. Husband was very pleased with his Beam and Coke -- they made it strong. Prices were great.“
