“Food was worth the wait. Drove from va to md to try this spot. Ribs were delicious and that sauce was something else,had me licking my fingers. The jerk chicken was good. It was more like bbq chicken with sauce on it but still good. Rice and cabbage was on point and the shrimp had great flavor to it. I will definitely be back for more.“

“Our company recently used Mission BBQ for catering. The Waldorf location handled delivery. The young lady that delivered the food, Taylor, provided excellent customer service and even offered to stay and help set up. “Old Blue catered my daughters wedding. I will be recommending them to everyone I know. Old Blue has the best BBQ food in the greater DC area - so, that would be enough to recommend them - however, if you are planning an event, you will not believe the quality of the service they offer. Everyone was helpful, had great suggestions, they even shared decorations with us. The day of the wedding was also perfect - they were attentive and seemed to anticipate every need. Again, they would be worth it just for the food, but they perfect because of everything else.“

“This place is cozy, lots of TV screens if you’re into sports ( or the Chive channel like my kid). Wings are delicious, brisket cheesesteak is a sin of gluttony and I love every bite. Mac and Brussels sprouts rock. They have a hot sauce selection behind the bar for the adventurous, and they’re supportive if you make a mistake 🤣 ( kid has a higher tolerance than I do!).“

“Amazing atmosphere - service needs a little work. I think this place is heavily understaffed so we did have to wait a decent amount of time for food/drinks and our bill. Two other things that would help improve my rating would be to include dietary restrictions on the menu (especially Gluten Free) and to be able to split checks properly. There was six of us and we asked to split our check between the three couples but the waiter straight up shut us down (didn’t even try). With these improvements, this place would definitely deserve a 5 star rating.“
